Christopher stone coming to my home to summon me..glad I saw this is a a scam I didn't answer bc I hav ppl call from numbers like these all time lookin for wrong person!

A person named Evan Perry from Caring Legal Services (855-219-4669) called my mother's home number and left a detailed message.  He said they would be 'serving papers' within 24-48 hours to an individual he claimed lived at her address.  He stated he would need two forms of ID and that a supervisor from the company would verify them.  Interestingly enough the person they were looking for is my half brother, BUT no relation to my mother, and nowhere within reasonable proximity.  My mother has been divorced from his father for 50 plus years.  Moreover, my half brother has never lived in this town or within 150 miles.  Currently, I believe him to be more than 2000 miles away.  I believe these to be harassing calls aimed at intimidating anyone they think could have any possible relationship to this person.  My mother has NO blood or legal relationship to this person, yet has been getting countless harassing calls from his creditors.  Additionally, her number is not listed and is tied to her home ONLY through the exchange in her retirement community, go figure?

I am retired on disability from law enforcement.  I got the usual bs call from Swanson Walker dba Legal Caring.  48 hours lawsuit have 2 id ready.  Interesting because I don't have credit cards.  They violated so many debt collection laws it is not funny. I found a judgment  against them in Texas for violation of debt collection law.  They are scam artists.  At some point  they will all be in prison (Federal)  and the US Marshall sell their assets if any. Just ignore them or turn them over to local da for prosecution.  Never pay them.

To file complaints on FDCPA/TCPA violations, File complaints with your states Attorney General and theirs (if known) and also with the FTC, CFB, BBB.. Also check your credit - your entitled to a free report once a year from all 3 agency's. Check the SOL (statue of limitations) for your state.

I get almost weekly calls from an "agency" claiming they have a "legal summons" (is there any other kind???) to serve. Sometimes they even get my name wrong. They say someone will come to my residence or place of employment to serve me. I'd like to see them get past security at work. I'd pay for a tape of that. I can't believe anyone would fall for scams like this.

They did not have my address but were very full of threats ????!!!

They just called me

I was just contacted an hour ago by 844 224 3663. Tried to call back and it was not possible dial this number with any success. Legal Caring Services does not exist online or otherwise. Thank you ALL for reporting these scams. I did not know this was possible. BEWARE, still in operation LEGAL CARING SERVICES, CHARLES CLAY (certain alias) - SCAM!!!! DO NOT RESPOND to solicitations from Legal Caring Services. If possible, make the appointment, THEN call the police and invite them to your appointment.

Yes Mr. Thomas Whittaker left a message on my phone saying I was being summoned to court and papers were being filed. Sounds like a bunch of b.s.  and ammeter reading all these stories I think I'm right. Thanks

No they haven't shut down.  They just called me and left a recorded message using the name Legal Caring Services. I called them back after finding out online that they are scam artists. I asked them for the name they left on the recording (Because I forgot the name).  They asked me why I wanted the name, and I said that I was in the middle of filling out a FCC complaint and I forgot the name the recording gave me. Tracy promptly hung up on me. I called back and got Clay on the phone, he just played dumb. I had given it right back to them. Don't get scammed by them.

I just received a phone call literally 2 minutes ago with the same information just a different name Tommy Webb. He claimed that he would be coming to my home and job between the hours of 3-5. Is there anyway to stop them because I would get real ignorant on them real quick. 585-294-2175 is the number he called me from but the number he told me to call back is 844-952-7286.

Total scam.   No legitimate process server warns yo advance.  That would defeat the purpose of the service of process.  Don't call them back.  Don't talk to them.  Don't give them an information and block their calls.   If the have a legitimate debt against you demand a debt validation letter b y US mail.  E mail no good.  Of course they won't send you any.   Other than that ignore 'em.

I got a call from Legal Care Services today... If anyone gets a call from this company, please do not answer the phone.... They use scare tactics saying they will serve you a court summons at your job and to make yourself available with two forms of I.D.... I looked them up on the Better Business Bureau's website and found that they are listed as a collections company that won't even respond to the requests to show documentation of business practices.... They are in New York telling people in other states they will be served in 24 to 48 hours....These people are fraudulent and just trying to double dip in Alleged Dept....

As u can see from all the negative reviews, they use a plethora of different people and numbers to call u and scare you...

kevin I just got a 2nd call from this people threatening to serve a summons in24 hrs, threatening to go to my job, I didn't answer any of this calls but they left a scarry msg on my phone about someone filling a suit agains me!! I tell u I couldn't sleep last nite thinking who could that be?? and why?? then I look them up on comp and I found all this complains on this people, than u, thank u!!

Just received another message on my answering machine.  This company left a message sometime about a month ago as well.  In BOTH cases, NO ONE came to our home to provide us any summons.  Oh, just so you know, we have not been delinquent on ANY bills in our entire lives, so that right there tells me that this is totally ridiculous.  If you want to contact me, then just SEND ME a bill that I owe, but to leave pathetic messages like this with no prior proof of anything DOES NOT warrant a call-back.  Folks, don't waste your time calling these knuckleheads back.  Ignore their calls.

855-393-4321 watch out from the scum bags, claiming to be investigator from a law firm burns & stevens llp. these fools are stupid. I know a scam when I hear one. they told me to pay 1600 or broken down in 4 payments,LOL. and this is from a payday loan taken out years ago. the person name ( investigator Sampson) I was laughing too hard to cuss them out. so I hung up. beware of this number.
