I got the same Microsoft IT call today, twice. I have decided to call them back every five minutes and said nothing.  The guy called me back and asked me why I did that.  I told them I will call them hundred times a day until they are closing their business.  I suggest you guys do the same thing.

I called them more than 100 times in 5 five hours! They called me and asked me why I did that.  I told them they called me and I called them back.  I was threathened that they will give all "calling sites?" my number and million people will call me.  I told them I can turn off my phone, mute it, blacklist their numbers etc., but they cannot turn off their number.

Received a call from 607-223-5232. I let it go to voicemail. The essay gave the same garbage about computer viruses and left the number 855-539-4917 for me to call back. These scammers are getting bolder and bolder.

Robo call from 1-855-539-4917 saying that my Microsoft license key has expired.  I hung up because its a scam.  I called back and a man from with a Pakistani accent answered identifying himself as Window IT Tech Support.  I asked where he is calling from and he replied Brooklyn NY.  I asked where he was from India or Pakistan.  He said Pakistan and hung up.  I have gotten these calls many times before and they still keep calling.  I usually block these calls.  I just called the number back again and identified myself as Agent Smith with the FBI in Washington.  I said we have been asked to investigate these calls.  I asked for his name and he said John Smith (he could not spell name properly "Jhone" Smith).  I asked for the name of his company and he answered Windows Support Dept.  I said that was just a department, I asked for the name of the whole Company.  He hung up on me.

Their getting better...I just picked up my messages and it was a computerized voice of a woman advising that my Microsoft license key was expiring and I needed to call 855-539-4914 (interesting because that is not the number that called me). The 855 area code is a non-geographic code and could originate from anywhere.  Never answer or return call an 855 area code call.  You would think our telephone companies would keep this idiots under control. I generally never answer my landline telephone anymore...should just get rid of it!!!

Robo-call, synthetic voice, claiming that the license key for Windows had expired.

The number can be called back at this point, but goes to a call-center system using the same synthesized voice.

    Almost certainly a scam.
