Gee it looks like this company you're all crying about receives an A+ rating from the BBB:

    http://www.la.bbb.org/business-reviews/Collec ... es-CA-100118372

Keep up with your lies. Regarding BBB accreditation this is a service you have to pay for, why in the world a company that investigates deadbeats that commit fraud would pay the BBB to be accredited is beyond the scope of any intelligent person's imagination. From the BBB's site regarding accreditation:

Businesses are under no obligation to seek BBB accreditation, and some businesses are not accredited because they have not sought BBB accreditation.

Name calling is childish.  What's really  important is that you are being exposed as a scammer!   Everyone who reads these posts now knows, because of all the posts here,  your's included,   not to hand you any money.  And that's the only important thing.  And it's happening!  You are demonstrating the effect that it is having on you. Otherwise,  you wouldn't be here,  or concerned about what is being said in response to your scamming efforts.    And just knowing that you are losing only a buck or two because of this board,  is worth the effort of everyone posting.

Yes, I'm sure that the Better Business Bureau gives out A+ ratings to scams. It's one thing not to pay your light bill (they'll turn your lights off) or to not pay a credit card (they can sue you). But what you are advising people here - to not pay on worthless checks, when not doing so upon demand is a crime in every state is a disservice to the general public.

Some more people getting arrested for, guess what? Worthless checks:

Joseph,   Would you mind telling me where Newhall Investigators is?  Is it the one in LA?   Is this the Business that you represent?   Sure has an impressive web site.   Are you one of those 30 year experience investigators that nothing gets past?  I see that they have a toll free number other than the one that begins with 1-855.   Is this the one that all others call instead of the 1-855 number?

I don't think he's gonna respond ah. But I bet he's the shining star at his firm. Quite an accomplishment for one who is, most likely, a product of the projects. And the runt of the litter. Whos' mama kicked him from the tit too early..slapped a nipple on a 40oz. and showed him to the door.
I don't think the taxpayers lost much money on Joeey. If we did, it sure doesn't show. The only book learning he exhibits appears to have been picked up in D-pod down in the L.A. Cty. jail.
Poor guy. No wonder he has such a short attention span.

Gunnar,   I guess all he will respond with is the same tired old insults.   Just can't can seem to play nice.   Like I said before,  He's his own worst enemy.  ( "Sampson slew a thousand Phillistines with the jaw bone of an ASS.   Joeeeey is killing  much of his scam business with the same weapon." )    Seems like every time his mouth opens his brain shuts down and then he sounds more desperate. I would imagine that by now he can pretty much kiss any productivity on this thread bye bye... Kind of hard to take him serious any more...

I believe your right joseph.  Because the checks that you are trying to collect on were probably written prior to ww2.  You bought the whole truck load for a couple of bucks and are hoping that some of those who wrote them are still alive.  Of all the scammers and shills on this board,  you have got to be the most pathetic.

It's the same guy that you read about on all of the posts throughout this thread.   Joey (aka Chris on other threads)  wears many hats. He scams on the phone then runs to this board to shill and hedge his bets.   He will yell at you for not paying 1250.00 on a 2.00 check that he claims you wrote back in 1956, call you a deadbeat,  threaten you with jail withing the hour,   and break every law in the FDCPA. (Federal Debt Collections...etc)  He's a work of art.  When people go to this board and post about him,  it hurts his collection scam and really makes him......ANGRY!!  :)      I hope those at the beginning of this thread will read all of the discussion posts on this thread and understand what a case he is and take the appropriate measures...

Gee,  by now you have probably read all of the post here.   As you may have guessed,   Chris hawkins,  chris simpson,  Joey, and even the brain numb supervisor that you thought you were talking to,  is also him.  That's why you noticed no difference in the brain wave level.  I have no objection to collections agents calling people in an attempt to collect legally owed debts,  as long as they use ethical methods,  follow the laws of the FDCPA and provide, in writing and via the US Mail,  undeniable and verifiable validation of the debt  And assuming that the debt is legally collectable and still within the statutes of limitations and proper collection manners are used,  I believe that these debts should in fact be paid.  But only when the person collecting has also proven that he/she is authorized and has the legal right to claim and collect. There are some of us who can't stand for these people to take advantage of others because they may not be familiar with the FDCPA laws and allow these kinds of people to intimidate and frighten them into paying for something that is not theirs or uncollectable under the law.  Even though some of the posts may sound a little extreme,  It can be effective when those who are receiving these threatening phone calls,  fear that they are going to jail or being scammed,  come here to find information about the number that called them and what's going on.   It does indeed save a lot of people from being scammed out of their hard earned money..  Thank you for your post.

I will get these folks...amazing what a little research will do.  When someone calls and uses obscene or threatening language, or even heavy breathing or silence to intimidate you, you are receiving a harassing call. It is against the law in California and other states to make obscene or threatening calls. (California Penal Code section 653m, Penal Code section 422-422.1)
What cool is call tracing and the ability of the phone company to capture the conversation.  The person said things about my dead family member...and alot of bad things....of course I got upset and said the wrong thing...but its on tape,...think the law will understand my position....call yourphone company and set the trap....lets get these scum off our streets...

Well if he got threatened, he has every right to defend himself from the FAKE debt collectors. Even if it was a real debt collector, he/she should follow the rules. Breathing, talking bad about dead people, acting rude, stalking etc won't solve a damn thing.
