These folks called my house, job, and my cell phone number looking for me. After getting the BS that We are going to advise our client to proceed with actions, I told them to go ahead. Then I get a call back asking for a payment plan on something that was settled back in 2000 with the company.

these ppl called my phone 2day and told me I had to pay my debt for a repo by this weekend.sounds like a threat to me.I told them I didnt have the money then they started getting into my personal life asking if I can borrow money from family members.

I kept getting phone calls and voice mails from this number. The voicemails are all the same, sounding like from a machine.

Really annoying.

Automated voice asking if I am Michael R. Self. Research showed the call is coming from a collection agency and they are trying to collect a dept from a Michael R. Self. I hang up the phone and use reverse phone lookup to fine the call is coming from SRA Associate @ 401 Minnetonka Rd. Hi Nella, NJ 08083. this number called this morning and left a corny message saying if I wasnt me to hang up after the pause... what type of secure mess was that???

I had received a call a month or two ago stating I had an account with them. I didn't realize how much it was but I knew I had an outstanding debt with a previous bank. I was informed of this when my wife and I opened a joint account with our new bank. So I knew I had a outstanding debt. They were very forceful in getting me to get this paid off. Even though I never had any contact with them. I was able to pay it off and had to send it via Western Union. I am still waiting on a letter stating my debt had been paid off. I was nervous that this was a scam and I had fallen right into it without looking into it more. Luckily, my wife thought to look them up with the Better Business Bureau. They have a "satisfactory" grade. At least I know it is legit. I just called them once more threatening to report them to the BBB if I did not receive the letter. I just want record so this wouldn't be an issue later. If anyone has problems with them, report them. Don't be afraid to get the word out that this company has some issues.

We were getting calls about a debt collection for someone we had never heard of. I called told them to take our number off the list. Got a live person, his name and extension.

someone named chris called my brothers phone number who lives in georgia and asked for my name saying its for a debt, the 800 735 0052 number was left for me to return a call to them. i dont have any debts as a matter of fact im deaf and dont even use the phone lol. i use the internet relay to make calls and surely dont give out my brothers numbers.  so im wondering if this is a scam? but how would they connect my name with my brothers number?

They called looking for and "Edmond" somebody, whom I have never heard of looking to collect a debt.  I called the number that they gave me and said that it was not me and they replied that they would not call me again.  Relatively painless.  Also, the number they called is my cell phone which I just recently got, so it may have been the person that had the number before me.

WHERE  CAN I OBTAIN A PERSON TO PERSON MACHINE . I HAVE BEEN  BOTHERED  BY  THESE  PEOPLE  ALSO .---- AND OTHERS  THAT I WOULD  BLOCK .

Company calling for a "Robert Wiley".  No clue who this person is.  I have asked that they remove MY number from their call logs.

Super Annoying

I received a call from 856-925-1000 at 8:30 a.m. this morning. It was a lady named Rose at SRA Associates advising that she'd talked to me in the past about this "account" and has not received a call back. She also said that if she did not hear from me by the next business day then she would advise her "client" to take action immediately! Well, I've NEVER EVER spoken to Rose, let alone Anyone, at SRA Associates! This is the first call I've gotten like this, and I don't even know how she got my cell phone number! So, I do believe it's a scam! They will not be receiving a call back!

PLEASE  SEND  ME  AN E - MAIL  AS  TO  WHERE  I CAN  GET  A  MACHINE  THAT YOU WERE  TALKING  ABOUT . A "PERSON TO PERSON" MACHINE  SO I CAN BLOCK THEIR  NUMBER  TOO .

WE RECEIVE AUTOMATED MESSAGES EVERY DAY FROM SRA COLLECTION.  WE ARE NOT THE PERSON THEY ARE TRYING TO REACH.  FOR EVERY CALL I RECEIVE, I CALL BACK AND TELL THEM THEY HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER.  THEY SAID THEY WOULD TAKE OUR NAME OFF THE LIST.  I STILL GET CALLS.  I HAVE REPORTED THE HARRASSMENT TO THE PHONE COMPANY, BUT THEY CAN ONLY KEEP TRACK WHEN I HIT *57, BUT THE MESSAGES ARE ON OUR ANSWERING MACHINE.

Chris has also called both our home and cell.  First he claimed he got the number from my husband's mother.  They have been estranged for almost a decade and she not only has none of our phone numbers, but she doesn't even have our address.  He kept claiming that he had a 23 page report my husband had to respond to.  He didn't say who he was with or what it was in regards to.  Then he called back and said who he was collecting for.  We have no late accounts with this "creditor" and continue to use them on a daily basis.  I called the "creditor" SRA's Chris was claiming to collect for and they've never heard of them.  Their legal department is following up for us.  They advised us not to answer the phone.

Chris used such language as "If I don't have a response within 24 hours, I wash my hands of what will happen."  We have saved all the voice mails and know several good attorneys.  We never have received anything in the mail from them.  Just based on the voice mails left, there are several violations of the FDCA.  I'm certainly not impressed with these guys and I'm surprised that they are still in business based on the complaints I've seen on line.

I've received several messages from this number as well as phone calls since I connected my new number last month. The messages and calls go as follows..."This is a message for (pause) David Gilbert. If you are not David Gilbert please hang up. If you continue to listen to this message you are David Gilbert. There will now be a pause to confirm that you are David Gilbert. (long pause) If you are David Gilbert this message contains private information. There will now be a pause to give you time to listen to this message in private."

The recorded message never actually gives any personal information, or a number to call back. If you disconnect the call, they still call back. When I call the number they call from, it doesn't ring or go through to anything. These calls are SO annoying. I'd love to get in touch with a human to tell them what I think.

Have received at least twenty calls from this number in the past month.  It's always a recording, wanting a "Sandra X" to call them back (because they allege she has a debt.  That person doesn't live here, nor do I know where she might be.  So far I've just let my answering machine talk to their machine but I do believe they're hiring pretty [***] workers.  Wish I knew something else I could do.  And I agree with that other poster...where can we buy this machine that allows one to block phone numbers?

People keep calling my home looking for my ex-husband.  I have told them that he is no longer reachable at this number and asked what it is in regards to and they could not give me the information.  They continuously leave messages with an 800 number to call back and a case number asking us to call back with our "intentions".  They say that if they don't hear from us they are going to tell their client to proceed with their actions.  We have no outstanding debt.  How long do I have to wait until they stop calling?  I am no longer going to answer the phone but I get sick of the calls.
