Someone from SRA Associates keeps calling our number and leaves a recorded collection message for Derrick Ennis.  We have had the same telephone number 479 243 0502 since moving to our area over 3 years ago.  It is a recorded message, we do not know any Derrick Ennis, do not receive any collection from anyone as we pay our bills promptly.  We are also on the "do not call" list.

SRA has called several times asking for thousands of dollars that I supposedly owe Ford Motor Finance. In November of 1999 I did purchase a brand new Ford Contour.

In the fall of 2002, I called Ford and told them I would no longer pay for this car. It had severe handling problems that scared my wife so badly she refused to drive it. Ford couldn't fix the problem.

The car was repossessed in September of 2002 with a promise from Ford that I would know how much I owed on the Contour after it was sold at auction within 60 days.Ford did not keep their promise.

Six years after the car was taken and sold, I get a call from SRA. I told them I would pay nothing until I was assured that SRA was a company they were dealing with. -------ALSO------ I wanted to know why it took them 6 YEARS to get back to me. No answers yet so I will ignore SRA and they know it. It is now the end of January and I will NOT deal with SRA. Tried calling Ford, but was promised a call back in one week. Didn't happen. I do believe this is a SCAM!  Wojoman

They say they're looking for Jeneveima Raius or something... they say that if I'm not her I should hang up, and if I am her then I should listen to it in private because it contains personal stuff.

I keep getting telephone calls from SRA Associates asking for my son, who has not lived at home for almost 2 years.  I told them he does not live at this # and to quit calling.  The lady put someone else on the line and I told them the same thing.  I told them to take me off their calling list or I would report them as a nuisance caller to the phone company.  They started calling my parent's home looking for my son as well.  The told them the same thing, to stop calling.  The man called back and got extremely rude and then hung up on me.  Would not tell me what the call was about.

Recorded voice message stating they are trying to contact me and to hang up if not me.  When you hang up, they keep calling back!  The caller or the recorded message does not identify themselves or their agency and requests personal information.  I receive calls from this number at least twice a day EVERY day.

where do you get a person to person machine?

Thanks for the idea dude...they keep calling my house looking for my brother.  I  called and left as many annoying messages that they have left me.  some annyoning lady Debra Foster(as least that is what it sound like with her dumb [***] accent).  Next up is a register letter to her then to the CEO and they to the better business bureau.  They can screw

I just received a message on my answering machine.  The message stated, "There will be a pause, and if this is not you, hang up.  If you do not hang up, you are admitting this is your account."  

Now, how the heck can you admit anything from not picking up the phone and the answering machine kicks on!  

They left a message that I MUST call back immediately to Kendra Langdon at 1-800-735-0552 with a reference #.  When I phoned back and asked for this person, I was told the computers were down.  I told them to remove my phone number or I will call the attorney general and report them.  By the way, I am in PA.

my account from toyota was transferred to them after my truck was repossessed normally, i have the same problems and experiences that the people on this site are listing but i have to say that these people were nothing but pleasant and bent over backwards to help me, they even saved me like 2000 dollars on what toyota wanted. I have to say if you honestly owe the money you would do much better to deal with these people then to wait until they sell it to some scum sucking piece of crap like most of the collection agencies out there.

this SRA Associates keeps calling my mothers house and leaving very rude messages for me or my husband to call them back. we do not know why they are calling her or how they got her number. a few months ago she told them that they had the wrong number and they were to take the number out of their files. well, they have struck again. calling today they said that they have left numerous messages and sent letters and if they do not hear back with in 24 hours they are sending my file to legal. I have never received the first phone call at my home or a letter in the mail. they are VERY RUDE!!!! this is NO way to do business.

Quick info guide for everyone that is recieving calls.  First, the messages are vague because they have to be according to law.  If you are not the intended contact and wish to not provide information then either a call back for # removal or a Cease & Desist letter will prevent any more calls.  The company has sent out proof of debt letters to everyone to the most up to date known address,  it is not their job to update a debtors information.  Just because the debt is not on your credit report it does not mean the company they represent cannot still pursue legal action.  They do not buy the debt, they are hired as outside collection specialists.  If they are rude, ignorant, or using foul language, get a supervisor and have them fired because they could be violating FDCPA and the company doesn't want to get sued.  IT IS NOT A SCAM!  There are guidlines to how they present the information to an individual until they have verified they are talking to the debtor.  Yes it is true they have limited time to offer you any deal on debt as the client has provided the account to SRA for a limited period of time to collect on.  It is also not the companies responsibility to obtain your correct # before trying to contact you.  And always remember that law allows you to recieve calls from each new company that owns the debt for as long as it takes to collect, they just have limited time on pressing suit.  Everyone wonders and complains about the aggressive nature of collections, it is because that is the type of nature that collects.  If everyone payed their bills and did not avoid resolving the issue then there wouldn't be a need for this kind of company to exist.

My mother is receiving calls regarding an account she is not aware of that the statements have been sent to an address in Ohio that she has never lived at.  The first call was last week at which time we became aware that there is a possible fraud case involved and are in the process of filing the fraud paperwork with the bank as instructed by the bank.  SRA is still calling wanting to know if I filed a police report??  Told me "if you found a dead body you would report it even if you didn't know who murdered them"  Against who....we don't even have the false address....telling my 70 year old mother that they are going to send it to legal and a $500.00 debt will then be over a $1000.00. The representative Brad is extremely rude to both my mother and myself and his remarks have been in-appropriate and bordering on harassment.  We just sent over the Cease and Desist letter but I don't trust this man to abide by the governing laws.

I keep getting calls from different people from this number and I tell them to stop calling but they keep calling back. I had a friend here one day and she answered and told me to call Lisa back at this number but I did not since I dont know who Lisa is.

Today I got a voice his name is Jack and he keeps asking me to call him back and gives a file number and all. I will never call him back so he will be waiting a long time. Can anyone tell me how to get the person to person machine that they use to block these numbers I will appreciate it. These people are getting very annoying and I am not working so if they want money they will be waiting forever lol.

I received a call like that too asking for me.  As other people stated, how can you accept this call when it's on your voicemail message?  I listened through because it's the only way I can delete the message (I think).  Anyway, I have never heard of this company - there was no letter sent - so I believe they're violating one rule.  They did leave a message on my voicemail at work too at 5:02 p.m., but with that I push * and get out of the message.  I did save the message however.

I will call them back today just to get their address to send my C&S letter.  I'm in a debt consolidation program, so if they press, I'll pass them along to that place.

I just don't want another call at 5:05 p.m. to upset my kids.

Guess what?  I've sent all the C&D letters; I've sent them on to my debt consolidation agency; I spoke to a guy there who twisted my words around and sent me a letter to that effect; and now they started all over again!!  This one is getting turned over to the FTC.

By the time I'm done, I'll have about 5-10 complaints with the FTC, but I don't care.  I figure at $1,000 a pop, I'll make about $5,000 to $10,000, which should help with my debt consolidation program!!

Never mind too that they called simultaneously at my work and my home.

They called me last night and the lady said it was their "final" call.  Promise?!  Geez Louise!  Do I really care?  I'm filing my FTC complaint anyway because they've breached the C&D letter.

I called back & asked for a fax # so I  can put in writing a request to remove my #  THEY REFUSED!!! However when pressed they gave this ADDRESS OF THE COMPANY - 401 Minnetonak Hi-Nella NJ 08083.  FYI-   Unless I am on your payroll I will not assist you in ANY WAY TO collect a debt. - good luck.
