Hey,
Thank you for your interest in my Chevy. I am selling it because I
will soon go on a second tour in Afghanistan and I don't want it
getting old in my garage. I will be gone for the next 12 months. The
price is low because I need to sell it before we deploy, at the middle
of July. The vehicle is in great condition and runs great. It only has
64.800 highway miles on it. It has never been wrecked and never smoked
in. I had serviced it only at the local dealer. Maintenance records
are available. Clear title in hand. You can see more pictures of the
tahoe here:http://s1193.photobucket.com/albums/aa343/tahoe021/
If you decide to buy it I will be paying for the shipping charges. The
total price is $2,740.00 with no other hidden taxes. Please email me
back if you are interested in buying it.

I am in a currently stationed at Malmstrom Base,MT. We are getting
ready for Afghanistan. We are in the final stage of our training and
we are not allowed to use the phone during this period. This is
supposed to keep us focused on our trainings. I am only allowed to
check my email few times a day. I hope you can understand that we will
have to stick to email for now. The vehicle is here with me at the
base but I’ve already made all the arrangements with DAS to pick it up
from the base. DAS will also handle the title transfer for an extra
$75.00. Being in the army has some advantages and one of them is the
fact that I can ship it very cheap. I will pay for the shipping
charges, as I’ve said in my first email. I think I can have it there
in 3-5 business days.
I am a member of the eBay buyer protection program and using this
service you will give a 3 days testing period after delivery. During
that 3 days testing period I will not be getting any money. I need to
know if you are interested in buying it so I can ask eBay to send you
the details on how this works. I have to fill out a form on eBay and I
need the name that will go on the title and an address where you want
the car delivered. Once I do it, eBay will email you all the details
on this transaction and we can get the ball rolling.

Once I figured out it was a scam, I decided to see how many different "stories" I got. I take great pleasure in flagging these ads on Craig's list in hopes that I can save someone some sorrow. What sickens me, though, is the fact that the majority of these people are claiming special circumstances because they are in the military either getting ready for deployment or already stationed abroad. As the mother of a military man who WAS stationed in the mid-east for more than a year, I am infuriated that they DARE to pass themselves off as members of the military. For that alone they should be ashamed. I can only hope that somehow, they will be caught and punished for scamming people.

Hi Emily,
So it will take 20 hrs. to arrive in Indianapolis e.t.a. 450pm. Friday afternoon.
I can cab it or catch a ride with a friend to Camp Atterbury & be there by 7pm. I would like to test drive it & if all is ok we can consummate the purchase that evening. I intend to drive it back to NY there after.
I am the buyer Ray Cee & the shipping address would have been 555 County Road 69, New Windsor, NY 12553-6196 - but that won't be necessary as it will be a good time to meet up with my friend in Indianapolis.
So, please give me details on which entrance of the Camp I should look for. Also, though you have limited phone access, let me have your cell phone so I can leave you messages.
Look forward to meeting you!
Ray

Hi,
As I've previously told you, I'm currently involved in a military program. Due to military security reasons I'm restricted from leaving the unit's facility under any purpose and have strictly limited phone access. The shipping won't be a problem; military has a considerable discount, so I can handle it by myself, with no charges whatsoever on your account. The financial part of this sale will be managed by Google Checkout.
The vehicle is currently at the Google Checkout headquarter in Camp Atterbury, IN - (where I had it inspected before the sale) and will be shipped to the buyer's address for a 5 days inspection period (shipping 48-72 hrs).
For further information please provide me the buyer's name and shipping address, I'll open a temporary case and the company will contact you with all the information about this possible purchase.
Best Regards,

Hi Emily,
Your last posting was removed/flagged. does that mean it has been sold?
I was seriously contemplating taking greyhound to Indianapolis from NY (takes over 13hrs) since your selling price is so attractive. How far is Camp Atterbury, IN from there? I am off from work Friday so I would have to check when buses leave thurs.
evening.
Also, wanted to share our appreciation to you & your comrades for your service & going into harm's way. May you & your team have safe travels!

Hi, saw your posting on CL. have a few Q?'s, mainly
why is this priced so low when Edmunds has it valued much higher. This sounds too good to be true.
is the title free & clear?
can one review the carfax?
where are you located?
which dealership?
any additional costs?
thank you,

http://hudsonvalley.craigslist.org/ctd/2534743915.html - wowww i was so close to doing itHi,
The car is in perfect condition, no electric problems, no accidents/liens/loans. No scratches, never been repainted. I have all the car manuals, title, documents. I'm selling this car because my child of only 23 died 3 months ago in a car accident,a drunk driver hit him and his fiancee. He was with his fiance's car coming to our home at his little brother birthday of 14 years old. The car belonged to my son and it brings me bad memories and that`s why I`m selling it so cheap. Because I always use 100% safe methods, I tried to stop the listing on Craigslist and I’ve sent the car through eBay Vehicle Protection Program to a buyer from Ontario,Cornwall. I paid all the shipping fees from my car and when eBay requested the payment to be made, the buyer refused to pay because he didn’t had full amount. Now I have the car in eBay’s hands and it’s ready to be delivered to the next buyer. The last price is $2,550. Me and my husband want to make this deal through eBay's Buyer Protection Program.
PLEASE DO NOT REPLY to this e-Mail if you don’t have the amount available, or if you don’t intend to be serious.
