    Hi again,

Right now I'm in a military base. We are training, getting ready for Afghanistan. I am only allowed to check my email several time a day. We have to stick to e-mail for now. Hope you can understand. The car is already at our Military Logistic Department form Fort Belvoir, U.S. Army base crated and ready to go. Like I already said, the delivery process will be managed by me. I think I can have it there at your home address within 2-3 working days. It will come with a clear title and reg. I am a member of the eBay and using this service you will get a 7 days testing period after delivery. During that 5 days testing period I will not be getting any money. I need to know if you are interested so I can ask eBay to send you the details on this deal. If interested please include in your next email your contact info  for eBay (full name, shipping address and phone number), so we can move forward with this transaction! Here you have some pictures: http://imgur.com/a/V4ZT7

    Thank you!

This is the exact email I received from an ad posted on Dayton Ohio Craigslist.  The ad was flagged and removed as a scam. Just goes to show people will do anything to fraud others.

I came across a too good to be true deal. The person is from the UK and is selling a 2004 Acura TL for $1500 everything tuns good, no damage, no issues. She also stated that she doesnt want the car because it belonged to her son who died in an accident. She will send the car to my address.... Through ebay.... It sounds like a total scam and makes me mad that someone would come up with false intentions to scam you. Glad I came across this message though. Do not purchase anything that you know is too good to be true. Do some research. Do not get scam

"Sgt. Jolie Zimmer" trying to sell a car in WA

    "Hey there,
I'm very sorry for delay. The 1998 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 z71 is still for sale. I want to be honest with you, this truck is in great shape (117,000 miles, 8 Cyl 5.7, automatic transmission). No electrical or mechanical problems, damages or hidden defects. Hasn't been involved in any accident. Clear title in hand.
I lost my husband 6 months ago in a car accident. This was his truck and brings me a lot of memories that make me suffer. The price I'm asking for the truck is $1,500.00 (including delivery at your home address). There are no others payments on it, you will not have to pay anything else. I must sell it in maximum 10 days because I will be leaving the country on military duty with my medical team for 18 months.
Please let me know if you are interested and where are you located.
    Thank you,
Sgt. Jolie Zimmer, 1st Cavalry Division"

I also got a similar "scam" when looking for a car in craiglist:

    "Hello,
My name is Megan, and I'm emailing you about my 2006 Volkswagen Jetta GLI with an gasoline engine, automatic transmission and only 67k miles. Never had or needed any paint/body work done, garaged keep always, without any mechanical problems, tires and wheels are in great shape as well, electric is working perfectly. The engine is a 2.0 FSI 4 cylinder, runs very good and the automatic transmission shifts perfectly. Has a clean and clear title in my name and there are no liens or loans on it. This car was used by my husband who died 3 months ago. The price was reduced at $1500 because I must sell it in maximum 10 days, because I will be leaving the country on military duty with my medical team for 18 months and do not want to store it. Hate to sell it but its not worth keeping insurance and paying storage fees for a year. Also, the  car is not what my son wants so there's no use on keeping it. I can send more photos if interested

    Regards
