Cease Comm them replies to BinaryReign
If they are attempting to collect some alledged debt on behalf of CitiBank, send them a cease comm letter, demand they actually verify the debt while your at it. I would love to hear them explain where they are getting private, unlisted cel phone numbers.

This caller is Premier Recovery of Florence KY, does collections for various Citicard fuel card accounts like 76, Shell, Exxon, some store branded cards...This company (and I use that term loosely!) will call up to 10 times a day, yet almost never leave any message, yesterday (12/13/2007) I logged an amazing sixteen (16!!) calls from 8:30am to 6:30pm, and this was after they had already signed for a cease comm letter a week ago! Their autodialer ignores answering machines and SIT (service interrupt tones) tones, if you try to ignore them, they will redial two to three times in a row...

I just looked Premier Recovery up on the my state website, this is definitely a third-party collector, despite anything they might claim to the contrary saying they are Citicard or Citibank.

Hi - ok I worked there supporting the Collections Dept - Citi manages many other companies credit card collections, ie. BP Oil, Macy's, Kmart/Sears, Home Depot, and many other retail and gas companies. They would not call unless they "have a reason" false or not and they are a pain only due to the fact that they are "allowed" by the OCC and other government agencies to bother you up to 6 times a day (last I knew) it you have an outstanding debt (anything that is past due). I am not pro or against this company or the collections people calling (because they have to do their job or they'll get fired) - however I filled bankruptcy due to my debts being so overwhelming and I want to say to those of you who are struggling or have been is seek help through their collectors, an agency such as CCCS (consumer credit counseling services) or legally so that you will not have to go as far as to file and if you do have to fill just learn for the experience.  No matter what I highly recommend that you do not disregard the calls as a matter that was said to be something like "I just wish they would let sleeping dogs lie"... Trust me they won't go away - best and warmest wishes that it gets better for you - it has for me too... S

This is citi card calling from Boone, Kentucky(what shows on caller id) with the number 859-283-3677. And yes they just called me 3 times today on a SUNDAY!  I was infuriated thinking I don't have a citi card credit card until I remembered my Shell gas credit card that I almost never use.
The ridiculous thing is they were calling about a mere 20 dollar past due amount I didn't even know I had and without this website would never have known as I don't answer unknown callers or numbers I don't recognize.

The sad part is that they would not only bother me on a Sunday multiple times for such a small barely past due debt, but that they NEVER leave messages.  And since I'm not a dead beat and actually care about my credit, they would have a much easier time "collecting" from me if they just had the company name for the actual company you owe the debt to show up on the caller ID it might be easier to collect!  They think they're so sneaky and maybe we'll more likely pick up if we don't know who it is??? NOT!  Especially in this day and age where technology and websites like this make it even easier to avoid answering those unknown or out of state calls.  Citi Card is a company I will avoid doing business with in the future because of the Sunday calls specifically--how OBNOXIOUS!!!

These guys are from Staples CitiBank card... at least when they call me. I have gotten calls from 8:15-8:40 everyday, except holidays, sometimes as often as EIGHT times a day... I did owe staples money, and I "paid them off" through these people... but a month later they denied they ever gave me any deal and now several months later I owe them 189 when I already paid them off... that is pure INTEREST... This is not a company you want to do business with! They have now moved all their complaint and collections over seas to India, so good luck on understanding them and there is no luck dealing with them. They will lie, lie, lie to you and harrass you!

This is a collection agency representing Citicorp, which owns retail credit card accounts.  After following up with various Citi fraud numbers, it turns out someone stole my identity and opened a Radio Shack account.  Ignoring this number, it turns out, has been hurting my credit score.  I suggest following up to make sure ignoring this call isn't hurting your credit.  Just in case, the numbers at Citi I called included: 800.333.2484 and 866.553.7732 (this ultimately was a Mastercard number).  The fax number to the fraud department in Hagerstown, MD is 301.714.5811.

I repeatedly got a call, about once a day, for several days.  They never left a message.  I finally looked it up and it was CitiCard/CitiBank (which I used to have a card with)...  I finally called the number back and talked with (surprisingly) a nice customer service rep.  He said they were looking for someone else who had my number.  I asked if someone was using my information for their credit card and he said no, they may have had the number I have now a long time ago.  He updated my info and said the calls should stop in 24 hours. Finally!

    mad now
After writing the last add on this agency they  broke into my computer and started talking to me on my computer after knocking me off the net three times. The next day I found 18 traces of spy ware and viruses on my computer. I beleave they are hakers.  I reported them to the phone company and the next time they called me, they came in as blocked number. No not give them your name or or anything. report them to the phone company now,  or file a complant on them to the police. mad women.

They have called me daily for over a week, sometimes more than once- and called my cell. I finally decided to answer today(sunday) I have hung up before when asked to wait for an agent. I waited this time and got a very rude woman that demanded to speak with me and refused to say her name or where she was calling from. So I hung up- after telling them NOT TO CALL!!!

Lately, they have been calling my cell phone 3-4 times per day, including Saturday, Sunday & Memorial Day. I don't answer, and they don't leave a message.  I called the number, and I got a recording saying "Your call may be recorded".  I've answered in Spanish a couple of times, and no one says anything.  I, like the person above, also had to call my creditors recently, and now I get this repeated call.

    Unpaying Loanstar
Times are rough at the moment and I seem to have a hard time getting by breaking bread on the table.  Seems gas is as much as milk per gallon and my money is going down the toilet?  For what, so some CEO can get a fat bonus check?  I miss my payment once in 4 years and I get a harrassing call from this number many times each day, around 7 or 8 times I do believe.  What is also strange to me is that I feel somone is trying to knock me off the internet and write to me.  I found this site by accident by manually typing the phone number into the web browser.  Woah and behold, looks like other people have this problem.  Good luck guys and gals, maybe we can one day all be able to afford to pay these loan sharks off, just won't be today :(  Way to go Bush and Bernanke!
