Sorry Collections Rep but your wrong info is not correct.

1. There is no number set of how many times you call in the FDCPA.
2. You should be announcing your calls correctly with the card name.
3. In any state you can send written request to stop calls and insist on WRITTEN communication.
4. The "no calls list" does apply. See #3.

Called my Google Voice number and left a automated message to call 866-544-5501.  Call went straight to Google Voice voice mail and the debt collector had no option to harass me whatsoever!

So, I read this whole board and became really nervous. See, I don't own any credit cards, I don't even have a bank account. Hell, I'm such a loser I don't even have a job.

But... about a year ago, my wallet was stolen from some hussy my friend was fooling around with. (Sorry to get personal, just really annoys me that my wallet was stolen.)

So I was nervous my identity was stolen, but than I researched the number that called me. While some of you may be delinquent on your citi cards, if you do not even own a Citi card, and are positive you do not, check out this.

I found that page after I typed in the exact number that was harassing me. It is a SCAM, when you call the number back, all it does is prompt you for your credit card number. Then say they're "City Card or City Bank" But they either A.) do not spell it out, or B.) Spell it with a Y instead of an I.

Be wary, Some of you may very well be assaulted by a scam artist and not a real bank.

First it was a 904 number which autodialer did the same thing, It called me it seems like every hour and never left a message, finally since I have caller ID which only had a number I called the number and point blank told the rep not to call me as I did not recognize the number especially since it is not the same as the one listed on Citi's website or the back of my card. Low and behold an hour later got a call from the same number. Now it looks like they removed me from that dialer and put me on a different one. Seems like Citi is trying to be crafty by having multiple numbers all over the country where if you tell them on one to stop they'll have a different one call you.

I haven't called this number yet but looking on this website It looks like I'm gonna have to.

I know Sears Card is financed by CITICARD.  A lot of different cards are financed on the back of the card by citicard.  I got this call but I am not behind on any cards, I was for one month only. Guess their gonna make sure I make the next one on time.

I don't owe anyone and I don't want a credit card from you.  We have no business between us any direction.  I have no idea why you are calling me but quit it.

Citi bait-n-switched me on an interest rate issue..offered 14% then renegged and jacked it to 24.99%. I am fighting it but they still hound me daily.  I think they're legally allowed to do this, but since my Android phone has a "send all calls from this number straight to voicemail" setting my phone doesn't even ring. They leave a 2-4 second blank message, so I am saving all of them to tack harrassment charges on to the fraud charges later. It warms my heart to know they can't ever get through.

I already paid a bill. It comes out electronically, same day every month. I saw them take it out In April, and this call was saying they didnt. Why did they wait til now to tell me? She asked me for my email and I said no, and as I was hanging up she said,"WAIT!"

Call & never leave a message.  
My phone is in a non ring mode during the day cause it's sleepy time for me. Call all you want.

STOP calling!!! Every 20 minutes or whenever they feel like pushing the button to dial again!!!
I have a CITI CARD and am not late with any payments. I am on the "do not call list" and have filed a complaint against them. Also called authorities on this company. Just hang up on when you see this number calling.

The best way to stop this phone calls are to pay all your bills, or if you can not pay your bills, fills a bankruptcy period.
