What address do you send that cease and desist letter to???

I've been in bankruptcy since October. My home depot account was in my bankruptcy, "chapter 13". I haven't received any bills from them ever since. But just a week ago I started receiving calls from this which actually is starting to bother me. I'm going to talk to my attorney because I believe that they shouldn't call me once my case was approve by the bankruptcy court.

Over the past few weeks have received calls on home phone and while a message is never left the call does register on my caller ID.  I finally called the number back out of curiousity as to who they were.  They would not identify themselves and just kept saying that it was a personal business matter not a sales call.  I told them to stop calling that the person they seemed to want was not at the phone number.  I didn't get a call today so perhaps that worked?? It's very annoying.  I'm so glad to have access to 800notes, as looking up numbers does reduce the anxiety somewhat.  Let's just keep reporting.

This number calls my cell phone non-stop but only lets it ring once then hangs up! They never let it ring more then once, even if i wanted to answer I can't pick up in time since they hang up so quickly!

they call all the time, i have no credit balance, and have no outstanding loans. but they continue to call.  i have ringer set to no ringer for this number.  what a freaking hassle!  i think bored freaks turn our numbers in to some telemarketing firm

I have no cards with these people and they keep calling.

I have stuff with citi bank but I am not behind on a thing. always on time so I would have no idea why they are calling me. My next bill isn't even due till the 17th and its only the 6th.

do that and they will persue action.  trust me i worked there in collections awhile back.  if you talk to them every once in a while they wont do much, but if you send a c&d they will take the next step which is legal things.  be careful dude.  if you get the right person the will offer you kick ass payments.

i had a call from this number as well!  I have not answered the call.  By reading the other comments, BE AWARE!!!

I just found out that they also sponsor several stors so your Zales, Circut City, etc, card could be a CitiCard. I just ripped someone a new A#@ hole and found out that it was a store card. OOOPS. :)

They are calling from CitiCard, and I received ONE message out of maybe 30 calls asking to call back to the number. When I call the number there is never any answer, just double ringing like I am on hold.  I waited 10 minutes one time!!

Stupid collection people.  I always just call back the main number on my card and deal with them.

I get these calls as well. Next time, take just one call, and when a human finally does get on the phone, ask them to hold on just a moment, and put the phone down next to a pre-set elevator music, and let THEM wait. It works everytime (at least for me)

Apparently Citibank - but I've never talked to anyone!

I have been getting phone calls every day for the past two weeks at all times of the day for Youssef. With all due respect to the actual Youssef, it is not me as I am a woman. If you are calling my number for Youssef please stop or I will call you at all times of the day asking for Youssef. Thanks in advance!!

I called this # and spoke with a rep.Will remove my number from the system.Gas card collector. Somebody used my phone number.

This is Citicard-I was late on my Shell card payment and it turns out that it is owned by Citicard.

I get phone calls from this company 8 times a day at work at church no message. they are really annoying and need to be stopped. who the hell are theyanyone else solve this problem please let me know thatnk you

This is CITI Bank and they are trying to help you,NOT Collect money. If you are on a payment plan or you credit has been cut off with them, they are trying reopen the account at a lower rate at the completion of the plan. The numbers I recieved calls from 859-283-8073 or 859-283-3677. I called the regualar 1800 number on my bill and got them to transfer me just to make sure that this was legit, b/c the people calling me were not leaving messages and the only way that I could find out any information was to look on this site.

Well Exxon Mobil called me from 888-279-2426 over a matter of $10. It appears my spouse started using the account to buy gas and not tell me. Of course, my payment ended up not being enough by $10, so they started calling me. If they don't stop calling me I will pay off my balance and close the account. This would fix two problems. One dealing with annoying Citibank and two getting blind sided by card usage I don't know anything about :P

Also, get ready for the customer service rep to ask for the last 4 of your social security number or your password to their site!!! Bad practice in either case and I refused to give this information.

OK, just to clear a BUNCH of wrong info I have read on here, I work for citi as a collection agent at the florence location.  
 *FDCPA guidelines state we can call up to eight times per day if no verbal communication occurs.  
 *If we talk to a card member, we will not call back for four days.
 *Citi also handles several retail accounts, such as Macy's, Childrens Place, Goodyear etc., so don't assume that because you do not have a credit you should not be getting calls
 *C and D letters will stop calls
 *In ohio verbal no call requests will be honored
 *the of times mentioned earlier is FOR EACH ACCOUNT WITH US
 *Verbal no call requests will be honored at place of employment
 *the "no call list" does not apply towards attempting to collect a debt, only telemarketing
