I just got a call from someone named Jason at this number. I have a machine and I leave it on to screen calls so I didn't pick it up. He said he was looking for my husband and said it was important. Didn't say where he was from and he left his  number. We've had similar calls for many years from all different collection agencies. My husband spoke to them a few times and told them they were looking for the wrong person. It is someone with the same name but my husband was not born where this specific person was. My husband pays his bills the second he gets them. He never waits. He told them that they had the wrong person and they continue to send this wrong information to different collection agencies. I am going to go to freecreditreport.com and check on my husbands name. If there is something there, I will see.

It is very annoying when they don't listen and they think you are lying to them so you don't pay them the money owed. My husband owes nothing. Has never owed anything. He barely uses credit cards and he has paid all his bills all his life. Very annoying indeed.

    Ms. Alicia Wint Monroe
1/24/2008  I have received several calls from a collection agency identifying themselves, only, as RPM, and when I return their calls to determine the legal business address, and the name of the individuals who left the very rude and illegal messages on my cell phone, am treated very rudely, and their statements are as follows.  Mam, we don't have to provide you with our business adress or our names.  When I request the purpose of the call, they indicate that I had done business with their firm.  When I state that I had not done business with their firm, and the call is considered harassment, they then state that I was delinquent on an account which over five months ago paid in full in the state in which the account was originated by myself.  They then indicate that the verification for this payment needs to be remitted to them via the telephone conversation with them, rather than in writing or via fax.  I requeste their fax number, and I am told they only accept information via the telephone.  Their procedures are illegal under the laws of the state in which I reside, in which the account was established and paid, and under several Federal laws.  I do not provide them with any information relevant to the asserted claim of debt, and I indicate that they should contact me again, without being willing to provide their legal business address and the name of an individual with whom I can correspond to submit my verification of payment in full of the debt which made it not delinquent ever.  hey refuse to comply with these legal requirements, and I simply state goodbye, and I don't indicate that I am reporting them to the FTC and FCC and Justice Department, as well as both states attorney generals as well.  They, also, called prior to 9:00 a.m. my state time zone and after 9:00 p.m. my state time zone which is illegal.  Alicia Wint Monroe

This is a BOTTOM FEEDING COMPANY - DO NOT PAY THEM.  They have called and called me for 18.00 which is Verizon's responsibility - not mine.  Verizon has written this offer, however, the bottom feeder RPM is just trying to get money.  Last time they called I told them they were all over the internet - accusing them of harrasment, told her I reported her to the Attorney General & The Federal Trade Commission - I have not heard back from them since - we shall see.  Don't bother trying to talk to these people since they are very ignorant people and must have been told to keep pressing - pita!

I'm glad I checked the missed call number here before returning the call. If they call tomorrow I'll play as dumb as they do and/or hang up on them.

We receive a call every month from RPM and each month they actually say a differnt first name but it is always our last name.  I knew this was a scam because we don't owe anyone anything.  They were rude and nasty and tried to intimadate us into paying them.  DO NOT PAY THEM.... THEY ARE A SCAM.

You need to check your credit report. The original party that you had the account with will hire them to collect from you. All collections must be reported to the credit bureaus. It will be on the reports along with your other credit information.

I keep getting calls with a phone machine that says "Hi this is Rhonda. I have some important information for you" and then leaves a number. This number. I have gotten these calls continually for weeks on-end. Today I got a call at 10:52 a.m., I got a call on Saturday while friends were visiting, one the day before, they continue to hassle me - over and over again. I don't pick up.

I have written them up with my Do Not Call Registry. Still they persist. Very irritating.

Repeated calls to our unlisted phone number from this company.  Apparently they are RPM at PO Box 1548, Lynnwood, WA 98036.  Number is as above.  They request to speak with a 'Sarah Bradbury' of whom we have no knowledge.  We have requested now a number of times that they remove our number from their data base. Tonight we spoke with a Janet Gardner, who is supposedly a manager.  We were assured we would not be bothered again after 24 hours.  This is April 26th, 2009.  We shall see...  I have also filed a complaint with the 'Do not call' listing folks.  It really is harrassment- and my heart goes out to people less able to defend themselves from these thugs.  I pray that they will be stopped once and for all... Cheers!
