This person has called my job repeatedly saying I have an outstanding debt.

These people won't leave me alone I've hung up on them, told them that person doesn't live here, and told them the wrong number and yet they still call I'm willing to join the lawsuit just tell where to sign up?

They have the wrong family. We've had this number for the last 18 years have told them many many times. They are getting nasty with us. Have told them to remove us from their list and have refused.

No message. When I call back, it's busy.

I got a call at WORK today from this # 866-212-7408, a co-worker answered & I told them I don't know who that is take a message please.  The man, Joel Buneonsejo (WHAT?), couldn't speak English & said he was with RPM and for me to call him.  First off, I don't have ANY bills with this "company", second I will ONLY talk to someone who speaks English, I'm not talking to some dumb idiot who's calling from halfway across the world!  It all sounds very shady to me.  I moved over a year ago & have NEVER gotten a phone call or piece of mail from these people before OR after the move.  Thanks for all the advise everyone, I'm going to do some research now.

I can tell from your language and attitude that you do work for a collection agency!! Plus your comment that a collection agency who cannot validate the debt ."if they cannot they can collect on it". This is backwards of how it's supposed to  work.You obviously don't know what you are talking about.

I'd really like to know what the "burdon of proff" is.  I know of Eric Burdon, super talented singer for the band The Animals.  He can fall on me anytime, can't figure out what he has to do with this post, though.  But proff?  Can't say I've heard of proff.  Can someone here explain proff and its relation to consumers to me?  I'd really appreciate it.  Thanks & try not to spill that wine while posting.

Called from 206-445-6637 asking to return call to this 866 number. This was an attempt to collect a debt from an old AT&T account.

called the 866 number to ask them to stop calling my cell phone.
they only transfered me once.
i used a calm, nice voice and asked them to stop calling my number.
she said please have Larry Roberts call them.
i said i do not know that person. this has been my cell phone for over 10 years.
she said sorry, and that she would take my number off her list.
this is monday, april 28th. let's see if that worked.

Keep getting calls for someone who doesn't live here any more what can I do to stop it. Doesn't matter if I tell them to stop calling

That's hilarious; I used to do that when I was a kid due to 'bullies' making crank calls.
