- madatthisMy father just received a call from them saying we owe them money from verizon cell phone, which my father does not have or bought. We told them we have nevered received a bill and we dont have verison cell phone. So we told them that my father is going to put a police report on that verison bill, which what they did was fraud. Somebody is using my fathers name and this collection agency is calling to collect there money. They wants us to fax them a copy of the police report. I dont know what to think about this collection agency
- Caller: RPM collection agency

- Shavi replies to Robert| 10 repliesI also have been being harassed by this company! After many attempts on my part to pay Verizon ( for an old bill amounting in less than 60 bucks)all of a sudden I started getting calls after the first of this year form RPM.
So I requested that they send me a bill...I would pay...RIGHT!
I never got one...
Then They called at 8 AM this AM and proceeded to tell me about my recent application for credit ( which I have made none!) and told me about my credit score...( SO WHAT?).
So I replied, can you hold a minute for me, I then stepped away from the phone for two minutes came back and they had hung up!
So I look online, find this site...and their phone number because I have never had a phone number or address for them.
I called the number above, they knew who I was and everything about me. Told me I could not pay thru the mail with a check or money order. That they only will take a payment over the phone from a credit card or debit! I refused! They told me that I had to pay them buy Western Union and would not give me a physical address of their location, but did give me some western union info to send it to them.
But, they don't take cash or money orders...
I'm very upset at them looking into my credit history and bringing that up,but I think it is outright stealing my bank information by asking for a payment over the phone.
Who would give a collection agency their bank routing and account number!????
NOT ME!
let me know where I sign up for a class action. - emilyRPM 'FINANCIAL INDUSTRY'

- Abused replies to Dion ScottI settled with them in February 2009 and now they are calling saying I still owe them money that the payment was a payment plan. Calls everyday and are very rude. I paid 80% at one time and that is not payment plan, that is a settlement. They are liars!!!!! I am registering a complaint with the state and so should you. If enough people register, maybe they can be stopped.

Got a phone call last night looking for Wendy Copeland and when I said no one here by that name they then asked for Lindy Copeland. Again, I replied no one here by that name. They hung up. But Iit sounded as if there was a party going on in the background.

- CapeCodder| 2 repliesRPM has started calling me again since the beginning of May 2009; first time I've heard from them this year. I have received calls from Zak, Kyle, Rick, and Lucette.
I finally called them back today. A woman answered and asked if she could help me, and I asked her "Why do you call me all the time?" She asked for my phone number. I hesitated and said, "No, never mind. I see on Google that you call everyone." Then I hung up. Felt good.- Caller: RPM

- David replies to CapeCodder| 1 replyrpm are not scammers they was very helpful for me. Closed my account for 40% of the balance. I never recieved any bills for my cc that had a current balance of 12,475.87.They are a collection agency, not a billing agency. I knew what it was, I paid it and felt good to get that big bill out of the way. The way i see it, they got the information from another company. so why kill the messenger?
- Barbara FieldsThese people keep calling my private business number, asking for someone else, (same last name though) and when I called them to ask them to stop calling and that there was nobody here by that name, THEY hung up on ME!!!!
- Caller: RECEIVABLESPERF

- Annoyed in the South replies to roseReceived calls from 703-291-9039 repeatedly on my cell phone. They never let it ring long enough to answer nor did they ever leave a message. Today they did... Bet they wish they hadn't. Guy named Michael said to call him back at 866-212-7408. I did and asked why it is they have called 24 times in 5 days. He said they are looking for Victor Gill in Kissimme (sp?) Florida. I informed him I am most certainly not male, don't live in Florida, and want my number removed from their system. He apologized profusely and said he removed my number. We'll see if he told the truth or not.
- Amandathis number came up on my creditreport as a credit application inquiry. I have never applied for anything from this company "RPM"
- Caller: RPM
- camille12508I have been calls for many months, and have told them the person they are looking for is NOT me. I ignore the calls now. The person leaving the message is either Rhonda or Wanda, just saying, "I have some important news for you. Please call me at work." The number comes up as 703-291-9039 on caller id RECEIVABLESPERF
- Caller: RECEIVABLESPERF

- taking action against this harrassmentThis & other #'s associated with "Receivablesperf" regularly show up on my Caller ID. We are NOT familiar with this company & they generally DO NOT leave a message.
Yesterday, however, a "taped" sounding message was left by someone named "Rhonda", instructing us to call 866-212-7408 because they have "important information" for us - this can't be THAT important/VALID or the company would have identified itself & given some indication what the "important information" involves.
Will NOT be returning the call - WILL be reporting both these number to our State & the National Do Not Call Registry.- Caller: Receivablesperf
- J&LFlintHave received repeated calls from this number and another that is not 1-800 over the last month or more. One finally left a message with this call back number and a contact of "Mathew Thompson." As research for the other number showed it as collections, and no debt needs collecting from my number, I decided to call to see about stopping. Repeated many attempts in calling for Mathew Thompson. Phone answered by "RPM" each time, Maria(?), who was insistent that calls could not be transferred to anyone there. This, even after explaining that Mathew had left a message with the number. Called back again and asked for her supervisor, but she still said it could not be done (she seemed kind of perturbed to be receiving calls from same persistent caller in short time frame). Finally called one last time and got a different operator "Tonia" who was very pleasant, said Mathew was on another call, but she would help, and she verified my number and that I was not who they were looking for. She promised to remove the number from their calling list, but said it may take 24 hours for same to be removed. We'll see.
