RPM has been calling me for the last several weeks---sometimes several times a day. The are trying to contact my son who supposedly owes a Verizon phone bill. He has not lived at my home for 20 years. He lives in another state, yet they are harrassing me. I am not a debtor, yet they are harrassing me. He is an adult, not my dependent. I think I have a ligitamate complaint, and will be willing to join a class action lawsuit.

All I do is store thier number in contacts and assign it a silent ring. I never even hear it when they call to hang up when answered therefore I am not affected in any way. They never even leave a voice message. Problem solved!

RPM is a joke.  I called trying to gather information regarding a past due bill that had been paid but they did not get the information in time and they just hung up on me...every time I try to take action and take care of this they will not help me.

My dear you are fifteen years old, please learn to type a coherent thought. Although this is a bulletin board on a directory of 800 numbers, you should practice writing in full sentences as a form of communication rather than shorthand "texting."  A few things; it is phone, not fone; and, not nd; was not wuss; and my not mah.  I am sure I will be attacked for pointing these things out - "grammar nazi", "nothing better to do" etc., etc., - but really, when you get down to it, there is no excuse for presenting yourself as an under-educated child that cannot write a simple BBS post.

I got a letter, phone messages from RPM. I never owned a credit card they claim I do. I sent them a letter telling I will forward any further correspondence from them to the FBI fraud department and record any calls.

Messages vary between automated, threats and  hang up calls. They never identify themselves, calrify the reason for calling or the company they represent. They call at least 2 x daily.

I settled a debt with RPM in June of 09.  They still call and argue with me about it being settled then put a supervisor on he phone to say, oops we're sorry.  NOW I have ANOTHER collection agency calling saying we still owe the money, that RPM only shows a "payment" not a settlement.  Now RPM is jerking me around!!!!

I get a call from this company several times a day.  The other day they called 8 times.  They call me on sundays and at nine at night. I have paid the bill they are asking about directly to the company in Feb. 2009.  I don't know why all of a sudden they started calling me a couple months ago.  I have talked to two different people from here, I told the lady that I paid the bill and gave here my confirmation number, when the guy called I told him the same thing and he said okay maam I just want to make sure the confirmation number was right.  I even called the company that I owed the bill to and had it confirmed that it was paid and that they would let the collections agency aware of it.  I don't know if they did or not.  I am not sure what action I should do next.  RPM called me earlier and I pushed talk on my phone and yelled in the phone "quit calling my phone" and hung up, about 30 minutes later they called.  My hubby said next time they call let him talk to them so I did and they never said anything to him on the phone.  What do I do to get them to stop calling?

When they call, they don't say who they are, to whom they want to speak, or to whom the debt is owed. If they leave a vm, they just leave the 1-866 # for you to call bk. When they call bk & it's not me they're trying to collect from, they won't give me any info, just state THEY will call bk the person...no other info. I believe I know whom they're trying to collect for, but since they won't leave any info, I can't be certain.

Called about a sprint bill. Sprint claims that the bill has not gone to collections. If that is the case then why is a collections agency calling? That is not the first reason I will bill leaving sprint, it is just the latest in a tower of BS they have been shovelling the past 8 months.

    RPM=REJECTS!
People. Stop complaining and read some of the earlier, instructive posts. It has been explained what procedure to follow.
See my post of 29 May 2008.
Polus and his thugs think they can sit out there and issue edicts, and the masses will respond with cash. Sorry, this swine got zilch from me and will continue to get just that.
Learn how to deal with these maggots. Call Polus at home in Holiday Park. Why not? He's been harassing many here night and day. He has no authority.
Deal with it people. Stop whining. Follow instructions given on some of the posts here....
Fo starters, do not talk to the [***]. Do NOT give them credit card/bank info!  Do not cooperate in any way with them.

These people started calling me this week. If this is a collection agency, I don't owe anyone. I'm an author and these fools are calling my home office. Left a message on my machine and said her name was Rhonda. Said it was an important financial matter.

Called several times before I actually answered the phone to see who it was.  The number on the caller ID was (703) 291-9039 whereas the robocall announcer, Rhonda, said to call her back at (866) 212-7408--fat chance Rhonda!

Received a call from this company this afternoon. Evidently they faked their number for Caller ID using a local area code....came up "unknown" and "out of area" even though the area code is local to where I live. They left a message for someone whose name I dont recognize and a phone reference number. I looked up the number they left - 866-212-7408. It is a collection agency that has been calling our number for weeks but they dont normally leave a message.  We dont have any debt and I dont answer calls from numbers I dont recognize. We have been getting numerous calls for months from collection agencies days, nights, weekends, including Sundays. I'm really sick of it since I know it can't be us they are looking for. When I answered these calls in the past there was either no one there when I answered, or they won't believe me that the person they are looking for is not at this number.

I keep getting a call on my cell from a private home in Commack NY (I did a search on it and it comes back as a residence). I called it back and some rude man claiming to be with RPM said he was looking for my husband. He would give me no information at all and was extremely rude. Told him to send me info and said he wouldn't even talk to me unless my husband gave him permission. REALLY??? Can anyone tell me why i'm getting phone calls from a private residence from someone who apparently has our information or someone he thinks is us? I can find NO RPM listed in the Commack NY area at all. Before finding this site I had no idea at all who RPM was.
