i have had the exact same incident with the mysterious $30 charge which caused my account to be over drawn and now have $64 in addition to the $30 they took to replace. i called they said they'd refund my money and gave me a confirmation. its only been a week so still nothing yet but i intend to call everyday until i get something...

SCAM!! not once did i recall ever going to paymentassistance101.com.  first of all if im looking for money im not going to sign up or agree to anything that wants money!! scamming, thieves!!!!

my bank told me same thing, that i couldnt do anything about it. im very pissed and will be calling that 866 # everyday until i get my money back. will prolly do no good, but im going to do everything in my power to make their lives just as miserable...

This is a total scam and I do not understand how they get away with it.  Do you realize the money they are making by taking this and, even if they ever do process a return, the interest they can make by jacking us around?  They took $30 from my account 6/29; when I called they said return would be made.  I called back in a week and they said it would take 20 days, which is outrageous.  I have just spent an hour calling and calling and finally got someone who promises, just as the last 4 reps did, to "escalate" this to his accounting department.  

Did any of ya'll recently do a payday loan deal?  I think this is where they are getting the bank account information.

This happened to me too; quite annoying. I called them and ask them to put back the money into my account.  They said it is going to take 10-20 days for the funds to come through. I am watching.

I got a charge from this company on my account today as well and I just wanted to give them a fairwell warning the charged the wrong [***] account on 8/2/11. I happen to work in the bank have been in banking for several years I'm making it a personal challenge to make sure that I shut them down. I called maybe 6 times got several different answers on who they were, where they were located, was denied the right to speak with a manager twice. Got a phone number for some of the dumbess [***] that walk this earth if you hired to scam people you better damn well be on your [***] and not even be able to keep your lies straight. I asked what's the name of the company ummm it's customer care where are you located ummm ummm utah really this has been my public warning I don't take to kindly to theives and dishonest people but I do take my money personal I wouldn't care if it was two pennies it's mine and I damn well want it. I will be contacting the owner of the address that they gave me, I will be contacting my buddies fraud department at my job, I will be contact the state of Nevada and Utah's BBB and any federal officials that I can dig up a number for I will not sit back and be a victim to these scammers I'm getting justice I'm tired of scammers get a damn job. If anybody needs help with anything let me know I'm willing to write letters to your banks with information on how they operate and we can all send letters and call the states they operate in together we will make enough noise to get some results one way or the other

This just happen to me today I'm pissed I called them they claim they will refuned me my money back I don't think that is true what so ever I'm going to my bank to fill out papers it a shame people/companys trying to juice BROKE people out of there money

[***]!!!! They charged me  a 30.00 fee and also deducted 2.00!!! I dont know what for!!! That was all I had left!!!

also found a 30.00 dollar charge today on my bank account!   applied at payday but said forget it when i saw the inerest rates and fees.  now i feel really stupid and can't believe that there are people out there who would take advantage of  innocent people

This happened to me.  This company took 30.00 from me.  Called them, was told my 30.00 would be refunded within 7 to 10 business days...and they gave me a confirmation code   They sent me an e-mail the same day, saying up to twenty business days for my refund instead of 7 to 10, and gave me another confirmation code.  I called my bank's fraud department the next morning..told them the situation...and my bank did a 3-way with them...when the rep got on the line...I asked her "which was it, 10 or 20 business days?"  The representative asked for who sent me the e-mail saying 20 business days...I told her...she placed me on hold.  She then came back on the phone...said that the confirmation code that I received with the 7 to 10 business days was my "cancellation" code, and the code I received from the email stating 20 business days was the "refund" code.  So, I asked how many days before I get my money back??  She said 7 to 10 like I was originally advised.  ???  Whatever. I told her I had my bank's fraud department on the line with us...and my bank told her that he would notate my account that she advised 7 to 10 business days.  We will see.  I will come back to give an update.

me too...took the 30 bucks out..now i'm filing a claim with the bank..get a new account number also...because i fell they will do it again.

same thing happened to me today. I checked my bank statement online and found a charge for $30 from a company called pmt assist, snumber given was 1-866-235-7681. They are closed on weekend. Ii called my bank and they suggested to contact the company again and if I dont hear from them in 3 days to call my bank back to file a dispute. From all the post i read on this site, I am not hoping to get my $30 back but am praying to get this scam bugs to go down. I am one of those that do not have enough money in the back and will get my bank overdrawn.

Exact thing happened to me friday the 14th of August. I take part of the blame for being such an idiot and putting all my info on the net. I never even followed through and got a pay day loan, I could use the money but this is complete bs, why would I authorize someone to take $30 dollars when I don't have a pot to piss in!!! This company has given me the complete run around about refunding my money, Do I need to close my account so they can't access again?

I just called this company for the second time and now they are telling me that it was 10 BUSINESS Days so I have to wait 3 more days.  I asked them for the name of the company and he just ignored me.  The person I talked to is John, Agent #130487.   This is nothing but a SCAM.  I am submitting a claim to my bank for fraud and to the Federal Trade Commission as on the previous notice.  Everyone should do the same so that they can go out of business.  Good luck everyone!  We've been scammed.

This just happened to me this morning!  I call and got the run around, told the money would be refunded in 20 days, fortunately my bank took a fraud report and will refund me the money, but this put me in nsf.  I will go in on a class action if anyone starts one.

this happened to me on Aug 12th they took 30 dollars out of my account with out my ok. I called them today aug 15th  and waited for 15 mins and they tried to get me to use there service so they did not have to refund my money but i told them did not want it. they said money would be refunded in 7 to 10 days. now all i can do is wait. if i do not see well be closing my account.

This company is listed on Paymentassistance101.com, they got me the other day for $30.00 also. When i called to find out who stole my money, they still was trying to sell me their service. I WENT OFF ON THEM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
