RUDE as hell .  I told them I was at work so i could not talk, she said "well, we only have one number- so since you know it is us, and  you answer - we assume you can talk"  That was enough.  I tried to be nice.

Another PAY-UR-BILL shill.....what are the odds of that in different threads at the same time.

Anyone receiving a call from these crooks should see my post on page 3 of this thread that tells you what to do, where to report, how to make the calls stop.

Tired of too many robot calls debt collector they leave a message to call back.

I answered their call previously and asked them to provide the contract they are trying to collect on.  It was a hospital bill that was to be covered by a school for a kid's sports injury.  I explained all of that but they call every day anyway. I have blocked Imp Ass Solutions phone number now.

ImpAss Solutions got blocked. I corrected the spelling.

Harassment and scam call

You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation (by law they have to go back to the original creditor to prove you owe the debt), cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (this will be the best money that you have ever invested).  Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it.  Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.  

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

Keeps saying they’re a medical center and pose as a debt collector. Don’t answer, don’t call back. It’s spam call.

This number calls my place of business at least once a week, sometimes several days in a row. They leave the same automated recording each time. They state they are NPAS Solutions (called id also shows this name), a bill collector. The name of the company they reference, whom we apparently owe money to, is not someone we do business with. We ignore these calls.

866-258-1104 "Toll Free Call" on ID. 16th time calling. This time their robot left a message saying they were from NPAS and they are
debt collectors. I'm pretty sure that violates the FDCPA, by informing anyone at that number who has access to the answering machine
that you owe a debt.

Seems unlikely they would get punished for it.
