have been receiving calls from this number for 2 weeks 1-866-290-6517, when I answer they hang up

Got call today @ 9am and @ 4:30pm..............same number.

i just got a 3 set Panasonic phone set at wal mart and right when i got done setting my new house phones up these idiots called so i set their number up on the call blocker list so they will not get to have the call go threw

I called Discover's executive offices and informed them that I was filing a formal complaint with the FCC and FTC.  All of the promises of "we'll take care of it" yet two months later and two calls per day.  I have requested a carrier acknowledgement (I believe that it is Sprint) and once confirmed, will file a lawsuit against the carrier in the State of Arizona.

Discover is the worst of the Obama owned companies and needs to be shut down!

Someone called from this number at 9:31 a.m. but did not leave a message.  A man called again from this number at 6:28 p.m. and said he was from Discover and there had been a security breach and he needed to verify information to send me free copies of my credit reports, etc.  I called Discover directly and their security people told me there had not been any security breach.  Do not answer any questions or give these people any information.  This is a scam.

I have recieved calls from this number several times a day for the past
few weeks.  I plan to call them back several times and when they call I answer, and request that they "hold" ... they are kept on hold for "as long as they want" ... they phone is on "speaker mode so everyone gets to hear ... it is quite funny but must be frustrating to be kept on hold everytime they call ... they may even stop calling!!

Register your home & cell phone numbers on the Federal Do Not Call registry. (https://www.donotcall.gov/ ).

If you have a Discover Card; they can legally call you even if you are on the Fedearl Do Not Call list, because they have an established relationship with you. If you ask them not to call you, they must honor the request.

Note the name of the caller, the organization, the time.
You can file a complaint, if they continue to call you at this same website.

Calls 3 or 4 times a day and never leaves a message, also it it is an unavailable number. They have been calling for over a month even on the weekend. Very annoying.

They called me today, asked for my husband, when I asked who was speaking, she HUNG up on me.  Grrrrrrrrr....

Repeated calls for more than two months. Answering machine screens.
Must be from politicians or other exempt prostitutes.
Been on do-not-call lists since they began.
Legislation to protect public is a joke.

Been calling several times a day.  I never pick up because of the 866 and also no name provided.  They also never leave a message.

This number calls 2 to 3 times all day long every single day. It has become predictable. When I answer they say they are from Discover Card & want to talk about lowering my debt. I don't have a Discover Card or a credit card at all. Yet they still want to talk about debt that I don't have. They are super annoying & I wish they would stop. When I don't answer they hang up as soon as the answering machine gets it.

don't be so cheap.  If its really that annoying hire attorneys.
