i've been receiving calls from this number for a while and finally decided to google it when it happened while i was at a computer. should have done this sooner. since people are reporting that there's no blacklist service from fido, i'm now blocking them at the phone level. they can call, but they'll get kicked to voicemail.

I also got a call from 866-301-5302 this morning. I forgot to turn off my phone last night and the call woke me up.

This looks like an identical situation with 1-877-622-2662 that kept calling me a few times a day for about 4 days. When I answered there was just silence and the calls that made it to voice mail recorded the sound of the caller disconnecting.

The best thing to do? Report it to the CRTC. Automated dialers are illegal in Canada but if enough people complained to the CRTC then perhaps they'd look at this situation and slap Fido with a fine for using a similar system to dial their client's #s

Yeah, I just got this call and its not my area code, so I dug deep and found this. They've only called once so lets hope they dont call again, they asked me if I was "My name" and I said no, so hopefully it wont happen again.

i got a call from this number alsoo...didnt answer it, i was at work...i also have fido ....

Called three separate days I did not answer no message left.Very anoying as I am quite sick and could not reach the phone

Got this call for the first time today, ignored it and googled the number, which led me to this forum. I'm also with Fido and also on prepaid.

hi guys...i  had the  same thing  likt you guys...  for a week but  today i answer the call to see what they want...  just telemarketing to see if i am satisfide ... only took me 1 minute to tell them some crap  that i am  so satisfide from  fido  ( scale 1-10 )  so i said 10 then Q if i want to use my  credit card to refill my fido account  and  more info if i want is  to call 611 or  fido web site. also i asked them  am i gonna get charged ?..so the guy said no..wich is  i didn;t get charched. i checked my balance and its true..didn.t get charched.....only took me less than minute .to get raid of them. i know it,s anoying  but finally i  got raidof them..i thing. ..untill they don't talk to u  they wont leave u alone...so. don't worry  u don't get charched if u are  on prepaid  service..just  some [***] tell them...

This phone number has been calling me everyday. I do not have free incoming calls and it is wasting my airtime.

So if it is FIDO i am going to talk with my lawyer about doing a class action suit against this company for SPAMMING PHONE CALLS from this phone number..

These people have called me probably 100 times in the course of about three months. I am tired and sick of it. I called FIDO today to complain and told them that I was going to talk to a lawyer and sue them because this is harassment.

I have called and taken myself out of their system like 10 times and that does not work.

I think we should file a lawsuit against this people!

I am going to get legal information about it, I think this is abusive and it is enough.

They have called me 23 times in the last 2.5 weeks!
It's a FIDO survey.
I picked up once and was immediately waiting on hold listening to music - as if I'm going to sit on hold after you phoned me - I hung up.
I did pick up another time and told them I wasn't interested in taking their survey.
They still keep calling - 9 times since I spoke to someone.

This has really been annoying, especially that there is no response when you answer the phone. I wish these people had a bit of common sense, knowing the what they bring out of the people they call.

I'm constantly getting calls from 1-866-301-5302. I've called Fido twice to complain and both times they say my number will be removed from the list in 72 hours. Sebastian was the name of the last guy I spoke to on Sept. 20/07. Today is Sept 24 and i'm still getting the mysterious call.....it is very annoying and frustrating as i'm waiting for important business calls, not some annonymous cyber-call. I'm not putting anymore money on my Fido pay-as-you-go account - i'll switch asap. Can someone help ?

I just got 2 calls from this number too!  How do I stop them from calling again?

My girlfriend has been receiving the same calls every day for the last 2 weeks. She told me they always hang up and is becoming very disturbing. She has the City Fido plan no longer available, it might just be a tactical move from Rogers to get clients to drop the towel on Fido.

Conspiracy or mere coincidence?

I was also getting calls from 1 866 301 5302.  When you answer keep repeating the sentence "remove me from your mailing list" and the guy on the other end clearly answered "ok no problem sir" and now i get no more calls.  It seems to be some type of scam where they get money if you call them back.

I'm on the verge of taking Atelka and or Fido to court. I want a credit for my phone minutes waisted because I answer a call and nobody's there and I would further like to know how they got my number. I have a pay as you go phone. I keep removing my number from their call list. Each time I'm told that my number has been successfully removed. Apparently not as they keep calling me!!! I've also tried leaving a message but the mail box is full!! Surprise, Surprise!

i got a call, it played music for a second, then hung up. i called the number from my landline phone, and it gives you the option to remove your number from the list. you need to be quick and press 2 to get english service.

THE SOLUTION:

Just call them back from your lan line (like Bell, for FREE), and you can remove your cell number from their calling list via a simple automated system.
