Guys,Atelka is a legitamite company ,not a telemarketing company ,the company clients include BELL ,ROGERS,FIDO ,and VIDEOTRON, since they are affiliated with these companies and because Atelka works on behalf of them ,even if u include your number in the CRTC DNC list,the company legaly has the right to call you.(example: its as if rogers is calling a rogers client).Besides if you are just bothered by the repeated calls ,u might want to write the number down,then call them from a land line and find out what is it really about.

My friend's phone bill came, with this number as a OUTgoing call, once in Sept during the day OVER 2 hours, she was charged $40+ by fido for that one, and once in Oct for 10+ mins.  She called fido and demanded the money back, they found out that it is a promotion number, and has taken her off the list, and waived the 2 call charges.

My guess of what happened was, she received it as a missed call, and accidently dialed it back while phone was in her purse, resulting the charge.  But good on fido's part to take away the $50+ charge...

Call the number back. Press 1 for French or 2 for English. Then they give you the option to remove your number. Just do it and stop complaining!

Always bothering me when I am at work

I got a call from Fido about a free phone for paying my bills on time.  After checking here and seeing that it was consistently Fido (as opposed to some throwaway number that would track back to an empty warehouse in Korea or something), I agreed, didn't have to give any info or anything

BIG SURPRISE, someone mentioned its FIDO really guys get witht he times and if you would like to keep your customers happy, don't give out our information. Every time three times a day i just hang up on this call

On the web I found out this number is annoying many people.

i got thoses call like 4 times a day  for the last 2 weeks and guest what it happen since i changed my cell phone by a new one at fido. So yesterday i called fido to be sure that thoses damm calls were not from them. That lady at fido told me that this number were not from fido cause there are no link whit 1-866 numbers they use for promo or ads.
Yeah but that was yesterday just before i got here and realized that those f......!! call are from them. And you know what? I'm in chile right now!! And yesterday that same lady told me that in chile every phone call i recive eventhough i'm not awsering to them i'll get charge from chile phone compagny in few months from here!!! Well guest what... Right now i'm i'Ll call back to them and give them a piss load of [***] for there service and i wont pay one cent for there call that i did recive in chile.

Lorsque vous répondez c'est un système à reconnaissance vocale, si vous dites oui, oui allo alors il reconnait qu'il y a une réponse flush tous les autres et vous met en contact avec l'agent de télémarketing. Si vous raccroché avant vu que vous avez dit oui le système vous rappelera tot ou tard dans la journée. C'est une facon rapide et simple (mais qui fait suer) pour eux de repondre à un max d'appel. Le truc vous voyer ce numéro dite simplement bonjour, bonsoir, qui à l'appareil n'importe quoi sauf oui, yes, allo, hello.

The company that is calling is called ATELKA, they are hired by Fido for customer surveys. If you wish to express your displeasure with these tactics, phone Fido customer service (assuming your their customer) at (888)481-3436 or the survey company's head office in Quebec at (514)448-4905..... Maybe if they're harrassed enough they will stop

Ce numéro provient d'une compagnie affiliée à Fido mais assez indirectement. Vous n'avez qu'a appeler Fido et demander à ce que l'on retire votre numéro de la liste de diffusion de cette compagnie. Cela prendra environ 48heures pour que leur liste soit à jour et vous ne devruez plus recevoir d'appel de ce numéro! Sur ce, bonne journée à toutes et à tous!

Both my land line and cell phone number are registered with the Do Not Call list - it does not seem to stop these guys from dialing my cell on a regular basis.

All the same: the DNC List is still a good idea - even if it will only prevent spam from companies who have agreed to respect the initiative.

Just informed a FIDO csr that if she didn't take my name off of their wardialing list, I'd head down to one of their stores with a box of rotten eggs and fix it up right proper!  ...  Needless to say she didn't enjoy hearing this, but did agree to take my name off of their marketing list.

Got a call today at 3:50pm. Only music when picked up. I think the idea about "designd to register the pick-up patterns" fits

I get calls from 1-866-301-5302 and the last person that spoke was very rude. If it's FIDO they better stop else they will start losing customers
