866-303-6836

they call and hang up when i answer. i call back and it rings about 15 times then hangs up.

Numerous calls.  No message.  Sometimes several times a day.  Busy or no answer when called back.  Called 3/31 and someone answered saying it was a 937 area code when asked.  937 is Dayton, Ohio.

Calls repeatedly, started over two weeks ago, no one is on the line.

I received a call from 866-303-6836 yesterday 4/1 and for the first time there was someone on the other end of the line. The woman caller "claimed" to be calling on behalf of the Children's Wish Foundation. I didn't believe her and requested to be placed on their do not call list. I've been getting the same kind of calls most others have reported.

Added note to the previous post - Children's Wish Foundation is not to be confused with the legitimate Make a Wish Foundation. There are several articles about the Chidren's Wish Foundation - I don't know if they're a scam or not. A quick Google search indicates at best they're shadey.

Numerous calls from this number, noone says anything, just hangs up.

I went to the website,and tried the1-800 numbers, etc. on the site. All are disconnected.

I have been receiving daily calls from this number for approximately one month.  They do not answer, and the number is always busy when you attempt to call their number.

April 2, my first from this number.  Didn't answer, but will file complaint with DNC group.

I get the calls too.  It is most likely a computer dialer searching for a fax machine or modem.  You wonder how fax spammers find your work fax machine; this is it.  If you want to fight back, report the companies that advertise in fax spam to the FCC.  Fax spam is illegal and not very cost productive.  Someone has to pay for that toll-free number.

I recived a call today from the number 866-303-6836 and the lady asked for someone that was the ex wife of my boyfriend, mind you she never lived here at all!
I explained to her that she needed to remove this number from her system, I did ask her how she got the number and where she was calling from.
she stated they were a charity and that the person had helped them in the past.

My wife got an actual person when she answed last week. They said they were calling from the American Cancer Society, looking for donations. She asked them to take us off the call list and it seems to have worked. They were calling every day!

Caller said it was the Kids Wish Network. I asked if they were the Make A Wish Foundation. She said "no", but they were similiar making dreams come true for ill children. She wanted to send me material.  I don't make donations to phone solicitors. I said I wasn't interested and hung up. This was the first call I have received from this number.

Yup, we are getting the same thing. I have answered the call and no one is on the other end. I let it go to voice mail, no message is sent. I tried calling it, unreachable.

What is this all about?

Have been receiving calls from 866-303-6836. Caller never leave a message. Am receiving calls all hours of day and night. I am also on every no call list known to man. Wish someone could make this stop and punish these guys.

Calls 3 & 4 times a day sometimes in the middle of the night, they or it hang up when you answer, when you call back its busy, you can eventually get through but you get a automated message that says all circuits are busy try again later...Register your number at ( https://www.donotcall.gov/register/Reg.aspx ) and file a complaint on the website every time they call maybe we can put and end to this annoyance sooner or later. Also call your local police dept and file an report. Dont wast your money on call blocker becasue the ATT operator said 866 is a TOll Free Number and that call blocker would do no good.

Another call today from 866-303-6836 Finally got a real person on the phone they said they were from the Troopers Association, I explained that thier number keeps harrassing me calling 3 or 4 times a day usually resulting in them hanging up when I answer 99% of the time, and that I wanted the calls stopped, they said they didnt want to take me off their list because then I would not be able to contribute to their association, I told them I was not going to and never would contribute to their scam. They simply hung up on me ....

Calls numerous times per day. Earlier today I was on the phone and this # kept popping up on my call waiting caller ID constantly, throughout the entire conversation. Once I hung up from the first call, they called back and hung up once I answsered. I tried calling back about a dozen times and got a busy signal every time.

I received my first call from 866-303-6836 today.  There was no message left.  After reading this board, it won't be the last.
