Keep calling and harrassing me about a bill that i do not owe.

Was called by supposed person from da office and given this number to contact, he told me that he wasn't supposed to do so and to not kick over too many rocks.... Well I did anyway and called this number voice sounded almost identical and was on contact with a Christopher Lewis supposedly from ebstien, schrider, and hughs, claimed had a sonic cash loan he was representing waldon asset management in acquiring,  well the attorneys name dosnt come up in any search and waldon knows nothing of this debt either,  also the man from the da Paul Jenkins does not exist cause I called the office.  Beware they will spoof the caller ID to show the local da they are impersonating. The address on the payment agreement I was emailed was 3843 Union Road Suite 15 #171

This is a ups store not office at all and they refused to send me a validation of debt in the mail which by law any debt collector must do.... They must send a letter within 5 days of first contact and in the US mail only not email..... I will be collecting more information in the future if I can an update this record at that time. I advise that if anyone has contact with these people to contact a consumer advocate attorney before speaking to them so as to get them in the act and in turn actually sue them.... Many of these attorneys will do this for free. Also works with Liberty United Mediation LLC

I have dealt with this company (firm) on a few different occasions. They have been nothing but professional and courteous with helping with the settlement of a past due obligation that I had. Christopher Lewis is the office manger if im not mistaken and he helped me and Im very thankful for that!

Is their address REALLY a drop box at a UPS store?  Did they mail  you written verification of the debt - it appears they refused to do that to the previous posted.
Otherwise - looks like a SHILL ALERT!

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

If they're so wonderful, why did you look up their number? You know who they are so why are you here?

I knew they were searching their own  number and once a post of the whole story aka the one I posted got here they'd either a.  Change the number they're using or b.  Have a fake post saying they are great lmfao.

Nope never got anything in mail and the address of the contract the emailed me wasn't the address of the actual company name on letter head and when  look up the mediation company it was only formed and licensed on 9/28/16

I actually almost fell for this one but after reading so much about this scam in a lot of places I called their bluff and if am contacted again I plan to just gather all their info and file suit...... The real funny part is when I emailed about the address mentioned here they had some excuse but eh not too worried about it cause they ain't getting my money lol

This number called my office phone and left a voicemail. When I called back the phone was answered by a Christopher Lewis. He was very rude and cut me off when I tried to explain they were calling a state agency, and it was the wrong number. He then told me to hold on, then hung up on me.

This "company" called me yesterday. They like to try to sound like they're lawyers but all they are just another 3rd party bottom feeder. They buy old debt, even debt outside the statute of limitations in your state, and call to try to collect money. That's all they are. DO NOT BE FOOLED!! Get verification in writing within 5 days!! Be sure to report them! They are breaking the law and not following the FDCPA. Also as an F.Y.I. these companies do change up their name and the way they answer the phone.

If you get a call from this number or from Christopher Lewis, either don't answer it or hang up on him.  He is a scammer and a liar.  He will trying to collect debts that were previously settled or paid off.  He says he's going to sue you but in fact, he does not have the paperwork to sue you.  What he does is emails you an agreement that he wants you to sign, which is his attempt to re-obligate you to the debt.  And if he tells you he will refund any money that you pay to him once you prove you don't owe it, he's lying.  He took my money, telling me he's a "Good Guy", he even went on about his 18 year old, autistic daughter that kept calling him because she was scared to be at home alone and he told me he told her to get over it, he had to work.  I guess that was his attempt to show me that he was a good guy.  I think it was him showing what a jerk he was, treating his autistic child, if there really is one, so horribly.  He and his crew are scammers.  DON'T ANSWER OR HANG UP!!!!

Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate – but you think the collector may not be – contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.

Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.

I've done just that.  I filed a complaint against their License and also with the New York State Attorney General.  These are not ligit business people, they are people that can't make a decent living as decent, law abiding citizens, they are criminals that deserve to be behind bars.

They have called me and threatened me many times and give me a certain amount of time to contact them back or they will have to take action. They have at no point told me who the debt is owed to and I am not sending them anything. I told them to sue me.

Recieved another call tonight after not hearing from them since January lol. Now they threatened to contact my employer lmfao...... It's funny cause they actually were talking to a family member who told them I want home and they were asking for my cell phone number dumb [***] forget they contacted me in January and have it already along with my email..... Can't wait till they call my cell phone and I tell them I'm gonna record it see what they say then hahaha
