I just pick up the phone and blast the TV until they hang up.

Received a call from someone asking for the previous owner of the phone number (from 3 years ago.)  I didn't know the previous owner of the number but have received calls on his behalf practically every week since.

Anyway, I answered and when the caller asked for "Juan", I immediately asked for the do not call operator.  The caller said "you want to be put on the do not call list" and I responded yes.  She said she would do it.

I called the number back and got a recording that it was a Breast Cancer Foundation.  I support Breast Cancer research and helping people who suffer from it but I would prefer to do it in my own time.

Never ever call back an unknown number! or TollFree for that matter! just simply ignore it...research it...report it! answer only those you know you have given your number too! May be late for most but once burned...is a lesson learned!

In the past few days I have received NUMEROUS calls all day long.  If the person on the other end of the line gets my answer machine a message is never left! STOP CALLING!  I am NOT interested in ANYTHING you have to say/offer!

I answered the call from a phone that has no caller ID. It took a few seconds before someone came on the line.  He asked for a name that many people have been asking for--must be the person who had my number before me.  I said "just a minute please" and went to get my other phone that has caller ID.  When I answered, I heard dialing and no one was there.  I just reported to the Do not call dot gov.

Not a charity--this is a debt collector--NCO--doing what they do best--illegal stuff. If you donate over the phone--they apply the $ against what they say you owe which reages the debt out of sol. Very illegal-but so is tampering with the us mail.

Not true they can solicit money over the phone as long as they are a non-profit organization!

THIS IS NOT A LEGIT COMPANY...ONLY 2.4 PERCENT OF THE DONATION GOES TO ANYTHING TO DO WITH CANCER.  THIS MEANS THAT FOR EVERY DOLLAR YOU GIVE.. ONLY 2 CENTS GOES INTO THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCER.  WHERE DOES THE REST GO?  INTO THE POCKET OF TEH COUPLE WHO OWN THE CORP. AND THEIR SON, WHO RUNS THE COMANY THAT DOES THE SOLICITATION.  IN 2006 (STRAIGHT FROM THEIR FED TAX RETURNS) THEIR SON WHO OWNS THE SOLICATAION COMPANY TOOK 87 PERCENT OF ALL DONATIONS.

Got a voicemail from this number today from Tiger Direct. Number now belongs to them, it was a legitimate business call regarding their B2B services. No scam this time.

I continue getting unwanted phone calls soliciting donations.  I have asked for over a year now that my phone number be taken off the calling list, without any luck.  These people, seemingly, are the scum of the earth and will continue to harass members of society into submission to donate so the founder, operators, etc. can live the way they want to.  I, and my wife are disabled and the constant 2-3 or more phone calls a day are so much that we have started turning our phone off even though that might be a larger problem due to our health situation.  We are older folks and cannot stand the tension of these type calls.  Please Stop Them, NOW!!!!!       Seemingly JT Reynolds II is behind this as well as other scum callers across the nation.  I suggest everyone write the AG's office in Washington and have them investigated.  Also, send your complaint to the Better Business Bureaus in your area.

The Breast Cancer Society is a RIP-OFF CHARITY! Someone suggested calling their 800 number which forces them to pay for the call.  I called 1-800-470-7909 and I noticed that extension 103 wasn't given as an option, and GUESS WHAT? IT BELONGS TO THE HEAD SCUMBAG James T. Reynolds.  I left old Jim a message, and I encourage everyone to call several times a day!

They called at 8:45 pm on Friday night and hung up shortly after I answered. I've been contacted previously and have asked at least twice to have my number removed.

The WA Sec of State has a web page you can perform a Charity and Commercial Fundraiser Search. It is:

This "charity" has a registration. According to their filing in 2012 they raised $53m.

The BBB has issued warnings with calculations showing that 85 cents of every dollar donated is used to pay the charities fundraising costs.

One of the three organizations listed that receive contributions from Breast Cancer Society only has 10% of the money they raise going to program services. The second is 40%. The last is 75%.

What I find interesting is that when you look up those other organizations, they list Breast Cancer Society as an organization that receives donations from them. Are these people really just giving money to each other? Each time the money given has a 25% to 90% reduction in capital to pay themselves?

The Executive Director of Breast Cancer Society, James T Reynolds II, learned from his father who started the Cancer Fund of America. The Cancer Fund of America has also received warnings issued by the BBB.

Executive Director James T Reynolds was paid $121k in salary in 2008, and by 2010 his salary had tripled to $364k in 2010.

Associated Community Services, the Breast Cancer Society's largest fundraiser, has been sued by the states of Iowa, Oregon, Ohio, Connecticut, and Missouri. They agreed to settle out of court with Missouri for $100k for continuing to engage in "manipulative, high-pressure fundraising tactics when calling Missourians who had asked not to be called".

Unfortunately, James T Reynolds II has been unable to respond to any allegations and has denied responding to the Better Business Bureau's investigation.

My opinion? These people are just slightly above scum.

Shame on you! Do you really think anyone out there within reach of the internet is falling for your scam? Your reputation precedes you and you are in for a world of hurt should you call back. You have greatly underestimated consumer awareness and ability to research where and how much money your "charity" gives to any breast cancer patient. It's quite interesting that your YouTube video has the comments disabled too...I am a professional skip tracer and my husband is an attorney. We are, together, working to see what it is we need to do to put an end to your travesty of a charity. As I said, shame on you. I was scammed by the Breast Cancer Relief Foundation and later by Breast Cancer Society (not realizing that the scam charities go by several different names) two years ago.  At the time, I wrote to several attorney generals in several states to ask that something be done to close these charities down permanently.
Now, two years later, was curious to see if any of the Attorney Generals or Governors had done anything to bring James T Reynolds and his extended family to book.  Nothing.  Maybe the governors and AG's are lazy? gutless? corrupt? friends of the Reynolds Fake Charity Empire?.

To James T Reynolds Jr.:  You said that telemarketing is a 'necessary' evil.  What necessity are you talking about? Perhaps you have no legitimate means of earning even a modest salary but you consider it a necessity to live in a lavish house with a lavish lifestyle which includes paying for your wife's cosmetic procedures?  All at the expense of and detriment to people suffering from cancer?  Try answering any of these questions.  Try as you might, you never will.
