Junk mail from Vehicle Assurance Vehicle Service Contracts telling me they had "just been advised"  that the price of their service plans is increasing on 19 Aug. If I get one of their scam warranties before then looks like I can get scammed for less money. The letter has a picture of a Cadillac at top of the page to make it look like it is from Cadillac. Fine print on back says Vehicle Assurance is not affiliated with any manufacturer or specific dealership. Do not waste your time with these warranties. They will never pay out. They will find some excuse not to pay. They say you can cancel by 30 days but do not send the paperwork until past 30 days. Don't bother calling them, just throw these in the shredder. Address is 3902 Old Highway 94, St Charles MO. This is near another scam outfit who sent me a letter on the same day from 2410 Highway 94, St Charles MO. That one is Motor Vehicle Services. IGNORE these junk letters.

    Really!!!!!
They keep sending me letters, claiming it is the final notice, wonder if they realize final notice means you stop sending letters to people, b/c they are not interested. I contacted the state of Mo, since this company is located in St. Charles, Mo. I was informed by the State's Attorney's office that they are not allowed to sell these warranties to people in Mo, b/c of all of the complaints the state received about them not paying bills for service covered by the supposed warranties. Unfortunately, they are not able to protect people who live outside of Mo, and they are not able to stop them running this business in Mo. As I was writing this I received a call from 940-5059 no area code given and it was a recording. Hung up on them.

More junk/filth in my mailbox. The vehicle they reference was sold from the estate of a relative, never at my current address. Scammers, fraudsters, tossers.

I received the same well written letter today in the mail.  They said, there will be a Price Increase to our Extended Vehicle Service Plans effective 6/27/2017. After that date we will not be able to honor the service contract quote designed specifically for your vehicle.  I' m not a lawyer but what the heck does all that mean???  They want me to call them immediately at 1 866 341 9255 so they can hold my EVSP contract at the lowest program rates.  The header at the top of the page said, Vehicle Assurance, Vehicle Service Contracts.....I almost called them, thinking it was the plan I got thru the Ford Dealer.....

Almost same as above. At first I to thought it was from the Ford dealership. I had just had my vehicle serviced. My vehicle is 10 years old so extended warranty long expired. New date on this letter says to call before 10/11/17.

I block a lot of spam calls and tear up scam mail and forget about them.  But this one really irks me for some reason. I don't have the vehicle they call and write about!! It was a lease about 8 years ago that was turned in 6 years ago, so this proves that they lie lie lie. But the stupid calls and letters keep coming. I called to have my number taken off. Talked to someone and they hung up.  I have blocked them, but then the letters keep coming.  Grrrr!  Why can't the law come after this lying company with the probably fake Dale Stevens name??

Also got a letter from Dale Stevens as above post. Addressed to long dead person. From Vehicle  Assurance with the usual car warranty blah blah. Rates are going up on 27 Oct. Call today and save. Sorry, not happening Dale. You lose & your junk mail has been trashed. We don't do business with junk mailers and do not buy useless car warranties. Adios, Vehicle Assurance!!

After letters and calls I finally called the dealership.  When I informed the voice from Vehicle Assurance that I had spoken with the dealership they hung up on me.  The dealership assured me it was merely a scam.

Have been getting MANY MANY calls. We don't answer calls from unknown sources, so never a message. Today, I received a letter informing me that they "were just informed that my extended warranty will no longer be honored after the first of the year due to some gobbly talk" ... I should call them immediately and they would be able to continue my extended warranty at a 'reduced' price." I recognized it had to be a scam, as 1) It came standard mail (although it had an indicia, but it was only $.27 for the letter - which is a standard rate.) 2)  I paid for my extended warranty at the time I purchased my car. It would be illegal for them to now contact me to raise the cost or cancel it altogether - without offering a refund. 3) There was no return address - not in the letter nor on the envelope. (I used to work at PO for almost 17 years which helped me to know what to look for.) BIG TIME SCAM!! Go back to your dealer if you want an extended warranty or look for a company that is listed with the Better Business Bureau. I have found (in general) extended warranties are really not worth the money! Only one time did I purchase one and it paid off - 20+ trips to the shop and never did find the problem. Finally 'lemoned' it back to the dealer. I'm not even sure why we bought an extended warranty this time. :-)

Or perhaps people who post here are smart enough to come here first in order to avoid getting ripped off by unscrupulous parasites.

I received this mailing. When i called the number to be taken off their mailing list the man got excited and said "why waste your time calling, just throw the mailing away?" I told him I didn't need the advertising out there with my name and address on it. He got more "excited" and told me why am I wasting my valuable time calling? Then he started playing with me. Being angry with me for calling to be taken off the mailing list. Very unprofessional!
