Same as a few posters above.  One charge.ncsoft.com CC charge for $49.99 and 3 from Apple MobileMe for $1.13/ea.  My CC authorized the NCSoft charge but sent me a text alert regarding the $1.13 charges which is how I got wind of the fraud.  I'm now getting a new CC issued, but what a hassle, especially considering I need to track down and re-setup auto-charges.

NCSoft appears to only be open from 12-5pm CST M-F (nice CS hours there).

Odd that multiple people are showing nearly the same pattern.  I can understand thieves using online services such as these to "test" stolen CC #'s, just as pick-pockets test stolen physical CC's at gas stations, but for these folks to run the same tests more than a few times is fairly odd since it would make them easier to track.

If anyone else would like to share basic info, wondering if there are any fraud trends?

    For me-
    CC Bank: Chase
CC Used at: South Korea a few months back, but mainly in the US at CA restaurants and stores.

I mention the South Korea usage because I think there are references to NCSoft affiliated w/ Korea.

Today,I found unauthorized checkcard charges on my bank checking account.($49.99 & $54.36).$54.36 ;ncsoft.com.;I  also called & got no answer...I called my bank & they stopped payment on the charges & cancelled my debit card. I have not made online purchases in several months ,also..  I agree
someone used my card, but did not acquire info from me. There is some common ground with all the unauthorized charge's on everyone's account..

I hope we can find out the company  or individual behind these debit credit fraud charges.

Two bogus charges to my credit card. First a nominal test charge, then 49.99. I don't understand why this company has not been totally blocked for payment without a call to the card holders, Too many people with the same problem and little or late action by Fraud departments. I was called next day by Chase Fraud Department who said do to my early call back the charges would not be my responsibility. Under credit card laws I don't think one is now responsible anyway.

Woke up this morning to 3 $49.99 charges to my paypal account totaling $199.97 taken out by NC Interactive Inc. I looked it up and it has something to do with video games and I thought it could be my son, but he doesn't have any of my banking passwords or paypal password. After I interrogetd him and he swore it wasn't him , I called paypal and got the runaround. After 3 operators and a supervisor they said they would refund the money in 10 business days. I asked Paypal oh by the way what did I buy for $49.99 and they said they couldn't tell me due to privacy reasons. Whose privacy, the thief's?

I just found a charge for $49.99 on my credit card.  I never authorized it and had to research on the web to find out who this company is.  I have no idea how they got my cc information.  I have not had an opportunity to contact them yet, I will do that later today.  Word of advice to all . . . first contact the company (do not give them your contact info - after all if they have your cc info, they should have other contact info like email and address right?)  So only give them your name, they should be able to look up any account with just that.  If they can verify that you do indeed have an account with them, ask that they send to you (using the contact info they surely have on file) a copy of your contract with them including your authorizing signature.  If they cannot prove you authorized them to debit your account, they are in clear violation of the law and therefore must reimburse your money.  Hope this helps.

I have a charge on my debit card for 49.99. The time of transaction is 11:13 on 11/17 which  was Tuesday. I came home for lunch but do not use the computer at that time, because I do not have time.  There was no one else here at that time besides me.  So there is no way it came from here.  Do something about it.  I did not authorize this.

Two unauthorized charges of $54.36 each.  Bank of America (now there's contradiction in terms) refused to credit them.  I called the merchant and received the following respose:  "Thank you for calling NCsoft Billing Phone Support. As per our phone conversation, this support ticket has been created for you regarding the issue we discussed.

We have reviewed your refund request and are granting you a refund for order number 15586053. A $54.36 credit has been applied to your card. This may not appear until your next billing statement.

The other transaction was reviewed by our Fraud Prevention Team, deemed fraudulent, and voided.

If there are any billing transactions on your statement, please be aware that these are only pending pre-authorizations. Due to these failed transactions, we will not be collecting these funds. The pending charges will disappear without actually charging your credit/debit card for the $54.36 for each charge, depending on your financial institution's policies, which could be 24-72 hours. These amounts are removed by your bank per its policies and is not something we can forcibly remove from our end. You may want to contact your financial institution for more information on when these pending transactions will be released.

Additionally, we have placed a block on your credit card so it can no longer be used in our billing system.

If you have any further questions regarding this issue, please feel free to contact us.".

    We shall see...

I got several charges from these companies: TMA*AFFILNAME,GAMENAME $83.93 & 63.94 | CHARGE.NCSOFT.COM $49.99 $49.99 | APL*MOBILEME $1.13 & $1.13  My banks fraud department alerted me to the suspicious activity.  I do not own an I-Phone as I see most people here do.  I visited my local police department today to file a report.  They sent me home with some papers to fill out.  Keep reporting these guys so we can catch them.

I had the same charge on my card also from CHARGE.NCSOFT.COM and never authorized it. They charged me $49.99 and had the 1-866-367-9516 number attached to charge, somewhere from Texas. Called my card company to dispute charge and they recredited the amount back to my account. Bank said it is a video game site. Went back through my phone records and did receive a call from that number prior to charge I think I remember answering but no one spoke and hung up. There is definitely fraud going on with this company.
