Red screen just like everyone else.  It's annoying these people can infiltrate legitimate sites.  Mine appeared on the MSN website.

Same here. Used Ctrl-Alt-Delete keys (all 3 at once) to get into task manager and end your process for chrome or orther browser. My Malwarebytes showed no problems in my pc. No need for further resolution. Just DO NOT CALL THAT NUMBER!!! And watch for errors recurring. Be sure antivirus stays updated on your pc.

Red screen pop up as reported above.  I just did ctr-alt-delete and start task manager to click out.  No issues and page closed right away

You will need to force start it, prevent it from opening up the same windows, clear the cache and cookies.  You do not have an ad blocker which is how that got onto your computer.

Same thing happened to me, just five minutes ago. The red screen popped up and I had to manually close the screen with the task manager. Obviously I am not calling that number. My Internet security scan wasn’t detecting a problem, so I wonder how this happened. I was reading old messages on a Yahoo group when the red screen popped up and froze everything.  Now what do we do?

I was on Chrome, too.  And I do have an ad blocker, so I wonder how this snuck in.

The number (866)368-2344 is associated with a company from Asia (probably India), it's a SCAM.
Simply ignore the message, then close and reopen your browser.

Same as everybody above - and was also on Overstock.com.  Strange that site would have multiple instances of this 'notification'.

Same here. I was on weather.com when the popup took over the screen. Don't know if their website is infected for sure but that appears to be the case. Have been suddenly seeing 1.7GB memory usage on their site in the last day or two so something is up with their site.

A warning concerning attempted breach of my computer security that popped up on my screen. The background color was fire engine red and the information said to call this number. This is obviously an attempted scam.

I got a this message in Google Chrome pretending it is the Google's help desk #.  Others report scam calls from this number.  Do not respond.  Remember they can get your voice print and use that or they will ask to get onto your PC with remote access software to fix the 'problem' and take control.

don't waste your time, once they get your phone number they'll keep calling back like all the other scammers. use your task manager (ctrl/alt/delete) to close the web site that started it all, and do an av scan if you need to. my av came out clean... better safe than sorry, good luck
