call every day  sometimes once sometimes twice

This number called me. Saying they are from Telus. Offered me a free Galaxy S8 or iPhone 8 with 10 GB data, unlimited calling etc for $76/mo.

I was sceptical, so I called Telus customer service to verify the number and they verify that it's one of their team  and the offer was legit. They forward me to the team and  I signed up for the $76/ mo (10 GB, unlimited calling etc) plus getting iPhone X for an upfront cost of $350.

Fake untrustworthy unreliable fishy and inconsistent... these are the words that I used to describe the representative on the other line when I called the phone number back from my caller ID there are a lot of details to my experience tonight however all I have to say is ask the rep questions of your own ask them the name of the company they work for their agent or employee ID if they themselves can call you back directly and or if you're obligated 2 sign up for anything. if they refuse to give you any information do not give yours. and if they want to verify information test them out by you providing slightly incorrect information about yourself. This way you can see if they're taking information or actually verifying your account. Its Aug 2018 and their offer  was for a Samsung Galaxy e tablet. From previous comments this offer has been around since December 2017 or earlier. The lady lied and said it's a brand new offer they just received x amount of tablets from their distributors to offer to customers. I was told I'd have to sign A2 year contract pay $10 a month that equals $240 the value of this tablet is $189 online. In addition I was told I'm not pre-approved I'm subject to credit check before eligibility of this offer sneaky sales people lying and trying to sell product that is almost outdated for top dollar with a no guarantee you even qualify. Total [***]

They just called me. I figured it was a scam because of the east Indian accent. I called Telus and they confirmed it was, Any solicitation for information of any kind from anybody with an accent. Just hang up. Scum.

I have received calls from this number. Can they be stopped?

I've been getting calls now for 2 days from this unknown number.  I will never answer an unknown number if they don't leave and message. If they are persistent I can and will block them on my iPhone.

I've recently been receiving calls on my cell phone. I dont answer and no message is left. Caller ID shows TOLL FREE SERV

Definatly a scam. They call twice a day so I have them blocked.

If was legitimate call - the phone ID would say Telus.
If TELUS is calling and blocking ID - well that won’t work with me.
To many scams going on to trust phone solider

Call from unknown number, didn't even answer.

Phone marketing scam. Don't pick up when this number calls.

I’ve been getting a call from this number every 2-3 days for over 2 months. I will not answer. If they have something important to say they can leave a message.
