Contact your credit card company and report them for fraud.  Also NY Attorney General, Dept of Justice, FTC, BBB, Consumer Protection, Crime and Criminal Division, report to NY State and your state insurance commission.  To operate a collection agency in any state a collection agency must be registered with each state's dept of insurance commission.  In NC penalty begins at $25,000 if not registered. I've reported them to every agency I could think of and some of them have already contacted me for further follow-up and information I've obtained.  They scammed me through moneygram which I reported them to their fraud department.  Moneygram has reoccupied both the payments sent to these scammers and suspended their moneygram account and following up with their own investigation.  I've also reported all their names in use with information of state registrations and found holdings.  Since I've reported them I've not received another telephone call on my job or my cell phone.  I'm ready for them and waiting.  Hope it helps - good luck!

These people called my grandfather and left a message on his machine.  He doesn't owe anyone anything.  I have a feeling this is a scam to get money from older retired people.  I called them back but got a recording.  I believe that they go by Kingman and Cole.

Just wanted everyone to know just heard back from NY BBB and of course no reponse to my complaint.  The complaint will stay on file for 3 years and be added to their total growing number of unanswered ones.  BBB also informed that I may want to consider filing a claim against them.

Then they called my employment and spk to my supervisor wanting to know information on me and if my wages had been garnished. then they faxed information on me to my work and let other dept workers see information on me . I called and they said they would take money ocer the phone before i was to go to court, i explained this is from 2003 and had been charged off and they said well your court date is for May 26,2008 ,,,,,oh really that is a Holiday and the courts are closed, he didn't care that is my date in rooom 108 ...????

Hey folks – I got the call from the same people who obviously use several different names (Brady & Caruso, Abrams, Burke and Assoc, Marshall Ziolkowski enterprises, ING Island National Group and Kingman Cole). I learned that these people are doing highly illegal things and that once you send the cease and desist letter under ALL three names the calls should stop. They called me and threatened me to lien my mortgage, car, and other things and I laughed and said I don’t even own a house and my car was paid off years ago. The woman (called herself Ms. Johnson) was extremely rude and when I asked her who she represented, she wouldn’t even give me that information. I just happened to call back the number on the caller ID and sweet talked the person who answered for the name. The debt they claim is mine was from someone who illegally stole my SS# and then took off to another country, leaving me with thousands of dollars worth of debt.  I have combined all the information I could possible find for you. Good luck and don’t give up. They should be locked up!!!!  Here are the three address’ so you can send those letters to all of them:

Received a call yesterday from a woman named "Kristi" from Kingman, Cole and Assoc.  Their phone number came up as "Witheld" but after listening to my VM, she said her number was 866-345-4590, extension 123.  She said that this call was my formal "verbal" notification that she will be filing with our county court system and my court date will be sometime in September 2008.  She said that I needed to contact her immediately to settle this debt.  I don't even know what debt she is talking about!!
She was pretty convincing but I'm still not going to call her.  
Any suggestions??

a summons has been issued for her. My girlfriend only works part time
and has gone through some very bad times with her health she does not

Kingman,Cole & Associates has contacted my brother for an old debt (more than 5 yrs old). They used 866-414-1004, 716-689-4235,and 866-345-4590 #. They are threatening him by saying that if he doesn't pay then they will garnish his wage. They never sent him any written statements or documents by mail. My brother gave them his email address and they sent some documents by email. One of them was his credit report. I know these people are scammers but i am worried that they have his credit reports and other sensitive info. Can anyone suggest how to handle this situation? Did they ever take anyone to court? How to stop these people? Thanks!

I also received many calls from a Michael Capello and was given the 866-414-1004 # as well as a case # - the phone number seems to now be disconnected and the case # is nowhere on Dade county docket.  Is this a scam?  I am concerned because I am filing bankruptcy and if I do not include it (if it is a real debt) it could come back to me later.

I just received a call from them also.  It sounds like these people are running some sort of scam or something.  They were telling me that there is a pending law suit on my husband.  (I've been divorced for 8 years!)  I didn't give them any further information.  I'll be watching my credit report closely now!
