Received hangup in voicemail.  Number blocked.

This is a bank named Syncrony.  They use some kind of auto-dialer and if they get your voicemail, they won't bother to leave you any kind of useful message.

Lol.  They call me for a mattress I have never purchased from a state I have never lived in.

Our office just got a call from this number.  Caller ID says "Carrollton".   A recorded call from Synchrony.  Left this number as a call back number.  Never mentioned a name or what this is regarding.   Will be labeled as a scam call and never answered.

After 2 calls from a "Synchrony" Caller ID, & no voicemails, I called back. She claimed to be Synchrony & said the call was being recorded (no mention of "for quality/training purposes"). She didn't provide her name & didn't know why I was getting calls & said my CareCredit account is from 2017,  which is accurate. She asked for my name, suspiciously not how to spell my complicated last name, & phone # & advised me to wait til they call again because they usually only call to collect past due payments. She asked if I changed my marital name, said it might be a wrong #, again assured me to wait if they call again, then asked for my social which I refused. She didn't do any typical "thanks for calling" speech.

Synchrony Bank, actual number that they are calling from is 844-377-4136. I have both numbers blocked, but they have been calling every day. Message is I have a credit with " PayPal". They need to verify personal information to clear matter up. I don't have nor have I ever had a "PayPal account. This is another SCAM to get your information.

Strange voicemail. Angry woman speaking English in a rushed, clipped sort of Asian accent. She kept insisting that this was the "correct response" and that she would have to "release the call".
Frankly, I wish she had "released the call" before they dialed. LOL

Started calling about a month ago several times per day. Caller ID says Synchrony. They never leave a message and I don't pick up. I have a paypal credit account with Synchrony bank. I haven't used it in years. It has a zero balance.

Another partial pre-recorded message. The FCC says not to answer calls you don't recognize. If they're legit, they'll leave a msg. This hits right up there with the "hit redial to reach an associate before 5pm or else" type of calls. If it's not a complete message, it's trash as far as I'm concerned. Got a call that went to my VM.  I called back to the same number.  A recording asked me to enter my CC #. Of course I have no account relationship with Synchrony.  I keyed in a bogus number which failed and I was automatically connected to an agent.  I did not disclose my name as she requested.  I asked why I was called since I have no account relationship.  Using my phone number, she looked it up in their system and could find no connection to any account.  I mentioned that many people have filed warnings about their calls.  I asked if this were a scam and she said no,  I told her she was lieing through her a** and hung up.

"Synchrony Bank" phoned, left no message. Never heard of them before, reporting them to both the FCC and FTC.
