Got 2 calls from this number today, 2/26/09, the first @ 2:36PM and again @ 2:45. I hung up on the first call when the recorded message came on & just disconnected the call the second time. Hope whoever is doing this gets what is coming to them.

Have received 4 calls from this number, 2 on 2/26 nine minutes apart! and 2 on 3/11 7 1/2 hrs apart. Same story, recorded message says to hold on as this is a very important call. It's getting rather annoying, even more so considering I have registered my numbers with the do not call registry.

Whoever is using this number, will not stop calling. When asked to speak with me, I asked who was calling. They would not say, but kept asking for me or my wife. I explained: they had to tell me what the call was concerning, because if they were atempting to solicit, my number is registered on the 'no call list. They avoided telling me what tjhe call was concerning and repeatedly ask to spea either with me or my wife. This has been going on for several days now every time I mistakenly answer, I incur a charge, as I have a TracFone

Continue to get these annoying calls. when I answer it says wait for an operator. This is not a paypal associated #. I do not have a balance on Paypal. must be Phishing. avoid it

This call is GE MOney on behalf of PayPal Credit cards.   I owed them money and paid it on-line.   The calls then stopped.

Repeated calls..... unavailable on caller id.... I picked up once..... asked who was calling they hung up imeadiatly.

This number calls about six times a day..7 days a week...WTF?  It's getting quite ridiculous!!

He said he wasnt going to argue with me about details but would keep calling till I spoke with them and hung up.

As stated already this is Paypal by way of GE Money.  It won't show it's associated with Paypal because the credit card part of them is handled by GE (same company that handles BestBuy's credit cards).  They are very persistant and yes it's annoying!

maybe if you payed off your credit card? or if you don't have one with GE Money then let them know.  You complain yet sit back and let it continue...

calls every day, multiple times, has been requested to stop, says it takes the computer a few days, well it's been well over a week.  SUNDAY mornings even!

This is GE money bank with paypal.  Do not pay them over the phone they will charge you a fee and then the rep gets a commission.  It is better to just pay the bill online, and then the call will stop.  These guys are very persistent and rude.

These callas arrive about 15 to 25 times a day. I read the info here and called Paypal. You're right, it is through a deal they have with GE credit, the actual card issuer that enables GE bill collectors to make these calls and stick you for huge fees. Worst is that you will not receive either an email or mailed statement before they start dunning you. I paid my bill through Paypal, who agreed to deduct the late charges, and I will now cut up the card. Paypal said there is no annual charge for the card, but can we trust them in light of this?

Got a call from 866-437-2914. When I answered, no response. They eventually hung up after a minute of silence. From what has been said elsewhere on here, this is from GE Money Bank and/or PayPal. I have neither account. Ergo, this is a fraud if it is either GE Money Bank and/or PayPal.

I do NOT have a credit card with these idiots, yet they continue to call. When I do answer the phone, they hang up. So what is your point trying to convince people that a scam is an honest business? Are you in on the scam???

I called the number back to see who it was. It was PayPal because I had to pay my bill by snail mail, because they changed their online payment from last month without notifying me AND my bank does not participate in their unusual new pay-by-phone setup (through GE). One day BEFORE the due date is not enough for them online. Apparently, they use some kind of check clearinghouse that allows them to avoid the rules that the other credit card companies go by. I had no problem the month before. This whole thing seems like a class action suit waiting to happen. I have never heard of a credit card company harassing people who tried to pay on time, and couldn't because of something they changed. I think that they found a way to jack the rates up for consumers just before the new law takes affect, and they cannot get away with it anymore. And they are calling me four times a day. Why? How can they just assume that I won't pay? They have already charged me the late fee, and I have mailed the bill payment. What would be the point of paying them over the phone? I do not trust them either. People can't just not pay them because they couldn't pay online (because of their weird system), so why are they bothering me? I have to mail it every month, so what? Leave me alone Paypal!

CALL ME AT LEAST 2-5 TIMES A DAY !! I AM A SICK PERSON AND DO NOT APPRECIATE BEING PESTERED.
