they won't tell me why they are calling.  need to speak to my husband ONLY (he's deaf -- doesn't talk on phone).  That wasn't good enough for them to tell me. what the hell?

This number called and stated that it was PayPal Mastercard and left a message.  I returned their call to see what it was about.  The phone number does not match PayPal's number.  They allegedly matched my phone number with my account number and asked me to verify my account holder's name with the last 4 digits of my social security number.  For one, no I didn't do that because I do not have a PayPal Mastercard and 2, I do not know who these people are and they are definitely not getting that kind of information from me.  

We all need to contact the Federal Trade Commission and let them know our concerns in addition to the HARRASSING phone calls that are being made by a Pre-Recorded Message. I received a call today from TOLL FREE CALLER! Who the Hell is Toll Free Caller? If you are a reputable company then DO NOT BLOCK your company name. I did not return the call because I thought it was Fraudulent! The phone number on caller ID was 1-866-437-2914. If a financial institution wishes to speak to someone then may I suggest a "Live Person" makes the phone call otherwise I consider you a Telemarketer and I do not pick up the phone!

866 437 9324  guy leaves message that there is legal action regarding bad check (impossible).  do not answer these people.  horrible that they got # and call like that.  Ignore this number, do not answer.  

Recorded message to call this number or go online to PayPal.com or write to a Draper, UT address.  No reason for the action is given.  Spent 30 minutes talking to PP Central after using online number and trsfd multiple times.  Verified there was no problem with my card.  They're to investigate the number and the purpose for the unsolicited call...we can hope.

Two calls already this morning, no message left. 8:14 & 9:06 AM I wouldn't have noticed if I was at work, but it's my day off. I don't pick up new numbers unless they leave a message. I don't return messages unless they are specific. (I had another number call me last week with an "Urgent Personal Business Matter.")

Got the call yesterday.... an automated call asked for account number, I didn't give it, then the automated call asked for the FULL social security number. I knew it was a scam, so I said I didn't have it. I then was connected to a live person.  They were aware of my last purchase on PayPal and that I had changed credit cards......  I still didn't give them any information saying I was a t work and would call them from home.... which I didn't. They indicated they were from some bank

They identified themselves as a ATT technical rep. they wanted information from a bill supposedly to verify band identifying information on or internet connected service. It wasn't the right terminology and seemed like something that a ATT technical person wouldnt do. When I called from a unidentified number they said they were ATT but didnt answer the phone that way and wanted me to connect with them on the internet so they could examine the connection. I told them I was an investigator and they hung up. The gentleman said his name was David. ATT would never try to connect on your computer. ITs a scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Annoying,  call every hour during week,  just called 8:15pm

just received a "recorded message" call on my cell from 866 437 2914 regarding my paypal credit card. message was to call them immediately at same number regarding my account. i did not.
i logged on to my paypal account (which is attached to my paypal cc) and my very small balance is not due until may 17 2016.
this is a scam folks. do not call them back or give them any personal information.
if you do have a paypal credit card thru GE or a paypal account, log into it online to see whats up and if you do owe a payment.
beware, scammers are everywhere and they want your info and your money.

was on vaca for a week & came back to this number and  caller ID that reads "Synchrony", they filled up my caller ID and it seems they called 4 to 5 times every day for 7 days
All i can say it WOWWWW oh WOW
the multitude of messages left, which fill up all the voice mall space, stated they were from paypal.
i think ill call paypal with the phone number paypals site has, not what was on caller id or Vmail.

good grief - Way to much desperation

Girlfriend has PP credit card and is getting multiple calls per day. Verified online her account is current. Assuming scam and blocking.

this robo caller is harassing and I do not owe pay pal any money AND THEY WANTED MY ACCOUNT NUMBER AT WHITNEY BANK INCLUDING THE ROUTEING PART

This number has called me like 5 times today

Go online and check your accounts, it's synchrony bank calling to let you know that one of your account is past due - mine was Paypal credit and I had forgotten to schedule the payment

It’s PayPal credit card, but I don’t even have a payment due.  They’ve called 6 times today and you can’t block them.
