There may be illegitimate calls coming from this number, but a call in response to this number on my caller ID put me in touch with someone who, from my phone number, could access my PayPal GE credit card information.

They correctly informed me that I had missed a payment and inquired to know when I would pay.  They encouraged me to pay from the web portal.

The call I received was legitimate.

i received several phone calls, did not answer. Called the next day to Paypal customer service and told that they are going to receive a  payment, but still receiving the phone calls. Absolutely ridiculous. Some type of scam i beleive

From GE Capital Paypal trying to remind me to pay overdue bill which was correct. They called several times but number was blocked. My mistake.

Oh, forgot to mention you have to wait until someone comes on the line when you answer as your number is dialed automatically then operator comes on phone live.

Left a message said give william a call back called it back and it sent me to a fax number

I called GE/Paypal and it was them trying to get a hold of me. If you're not sure, don't give out info. Call the number on your card and ask them if and why there were calling you. BTW, if you push 0 enough times they will send you to a customer service representative.

May or may not be legit, when ever I get a call from a number I don't recognize, don't answer. If its important enough they will leave a message. Usually if I get a call from a 1-800 number...I check if I have any over due balances - got a call from this number 2 days in a row. Checked PayPal - which, was, over due. Payed online. Haven't received a call for two days

This stupid number calls me repeatedly everyday.  They never leave a voicemail, so I know it's something shady,  Any business wanting to speak to you would leave a voicemail and information regarding the purpose of the call.

This number is a legitimate number. It is from Paypal / GE Bank. Their MasterCard division. If you are getting calls, they are trying to collect a late payment. It is not a scam. Just go online and check your account and make any late payments you may have online. That way you wont have to deal with the person calling you or give out any personal information. If you don't have a Paypal MasterCard then clearly they got you confused with someone else or your information was stolen and used for fraud purposes.

This is actually not a scam number. After reading these comments, i checked my paypal card account and I was overdue. This is likely their collections number.

This number has called at 8:20am a couple of times in the last few days, and at various other times during other days over the last few weeks.

Received a voice mail asking to call this number and that it was very important.  No other info provided.  Having checked this number out I will not be calling back.  As my phone number is on a do not call list I am surprised they have it.

It's legit.  It's GE Money. They manage overdue payments for PayPal. They have an overseas call center.

I am sick of the persistent calls by the subscriber 866-437-2914 to my cell phone, at least twice daily. It is an unidentified caller i.e. just the number appears with no name or company so I have no ideal who it is.  Moreover I tried in one occasion to return the call to (a) find out who it was and (b) complain about the harassment but it is not a two way working line.
