Just received a call and googled the numer to find this page. The call ended as soon as I answered and I decided to call the number back. It's TD. Doesn't seem to be a scam. Yeah lady who answered gave me her name and had me answer some security questions which were not intrusive and were simple yes or no questions. She looked at my file and said she doesn't know why I was called. Seemed legitimate to me anyways

Don't have to 'check my accts'  because I don't even have a canadian account since I'm just a tourist and just bought a canadian sim. But still these [***] keep bothering me. Staying classy doesn't really work out over here ey?

Why are you replying to a post from 2 years ago? Do you honestly think the person you're replying to will see your post?

" Legitimate banks do NOT , I repeat DO NOT hide behind toll free unknown untraceable 1 800 numbers" hmm, banks don't use 1800 #?
Bank of Montreal - General Inquiries  888-491-0000. CIBC - Visa Customer Service 800-465-4653 . Bank of Nova Scotia (Scotiabank)
800-387-6556. Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) Banking: 800-268-9018. Your right clearly 1-8 _ _ must all be scammers, how dare national banks use 1 -8 _ _ numbers!

Why do you keep you replying to old posts?
And if this really IS TD Bank, why do they not leave messages and why are they not on the phone when you answer?

Once again with the reply to an old post.  Why is that? Can't you just post for yourself or at least reply a current post?

If in doubt contact the number listed on the TD website.  They will be able to let you know whether the other number is legitimate.  Because there is a possibility the Caller ID might be spoofed use caution.  Call a number you know is legitimate.

Hey all. I work for TD Canada Trust. I just wanted to let you all know that 1-866-485-5354 Is our Collections team number,. They are on a Dialer system so you might get glitches.  However You can always call easyline and they will direct you to the collections team. Its not a scam. also if you have an Android phone it can appear that the call is coming from the states but its not. just an issue with the Android GPS. Again the dialer system can throw this off

Repeated calls even if I haven't maxed out. Yet they made their point. Pay your bills please so they can go on with their life and not to call you again.

I got your point but I am not calling back to tell you to stop. Blacklisting will helps but I already knew I have to pay for it. If you had enough, call them and tell them to stop calling you. If they want info from you, tell them you will deal with that in your local branch. Hang up and done. If call is still repeated, do make the claim in the branch.

That's all you can do. This is legit but don't give out info. Talk to your bankers.
