- RP60I just received a threatening call from these low-lifes looking for my ex-wife's husband. I've been divorced for 22 years. I haven't talked to my ex in about 15 years, I have completely lost touch with her. Even if I wanted to give up their information I could not. How they got my number I have no idea.
Take the case to court, I could care less, just stop wasting my time.- Caller: Paul Coleman & Associates

People just won’t stop! but I have some information for all you good people their fax number is 978-232-9318 It sure would be a shame if their fax machine was bombarded with say 25 to 1000's of faxes like say State Laws and statutes. The other fax number has a recording that the number is not in service but I have it well documented it is and if this persist I intend to go to the next step. I’m disabled and have nothing but time. - JRN replies to brad fullerMr. Fuller, reading some of the other postings, I'm not sure why I would actually want to return your call. However, I have attempted to do so and the phone number 866-485-9708 rings to a message stating that the user's mailbox is full.
- truth replies to TruthChickpaul coleman and associates has many lawsuits pending and they continue to break the law every day they are buisness. They are not licensed in any of our 50 states. they are barred from doing buisness in WV. I was called by someone in his office who identified himself as officer frank bruno and he was going to come to my house and arrest me if I didnt pay the bill. Is this what paul coleman tells his thugs to say? Not to mention if you ever heard the way he spoke to me as if he was a legbreaker. How do they get away with this I dont understand is the board bar aware of these tactics? Why doesnt paul coleman respond to some of these alligations and try to remidy the problem or is he a mouse that is controlled by the thugs that work for him.
- D replies to GEORGEThis company is calling as well. How can I get rit of them, any help is greatly appreciated.
- Rest of the World replies to tx debt attorneyYou know, I would like to apologize to you for everyone who has ever made a mistake or not used their God given common sense. From your tone I feel that many of us and our actions have upset you so deeply. It makes me wonder if you have ever given anyone a positive comment or idea. I do believe people should be responsible, but sometimes we mess up. Hopefully we learn from this and do not make the same mistake willingly.
Street Translation: Dude stop being a negative [***]! - B&K| 1 replyReceived a voice mail on home phone from Brad, didn't leave a name, stated they had a very important legal matter to discuss and to call 866.485.9708, then a click and the "file number" was given in an automated voice - naturally I assumed it was another nuisance sales call (unlisted number & no-call list hasn't helped much.) Got another voice mail today, 8:45 AM, different man's voice, sounded very aggressive and he stated this was not a sales call and to call the number above immediately, a computer voice gave my husband's name and the file number. We work and were not able to return the call until 2:00 PM our time, their mail box is full... Cross-referenced the phone number and called 781.233.0590 and that number is disconnected. Read all the blogs, thank you, now we know what we are up against. And, in response to the tax attorney - bad things happen to good people, sometimes out of a person's control - Thanks.

- AnonymousThis company is calling about something related to my mom. I asked to be taken off their list. They went as far as to tell me that I was a bad daughter, how the heck would they know what type of daughter I am.

- AndyGot a call from this number yesterday. I was away from my phone so just checked my voicemail and had this message: "This is an important legal notice for"
That was it, no name or anything, it just stopped. I'm debating whether or not to call them back, but from a different number. - Mike Hunt replies to Not Bitingthey called me today trying to collect on a debt that hasn't been on my credit report for years. when i said that the debt was nearly 10 years old, the guy lied and said i made a $100 payment in 2004. which is not true.
i was in a tough spot about 9-10 years ago and have since gotten things straightened out. my first reaction was to pay this to "do the right thing", but it's not going to affect my credit report or score at this point. so i suppose they can keep calling. they aren't going to get it out of me. - JamesR replies to kmseems like km is pretty nasty, you work for Law Offices of Paul J Coleman? Could you be perhaps Michael Feinstein or Mark Smith, The Mark Smith who harasses and terrorizes people trying to force them into paying bills that don't belong to them? The one who leaves message after message of threats screaming into the phone demeaning and trying to shame the elderly into paying debts that aren't real?

- JMC replies to kmColeman pay you to scavenger as they do only on the internet and try and make people feel as though they owe a debt when they don't or are you just cheeky
- TRACER replies to tx debt attorneyI have a novel idea, find a better job and stop harassment. Stop being a bottom feeder. You do it all day, this is the job you've been hired to do. You make dirty money, cleaning toilets is a more sanitary job then what you post here. Pull your mind out of the toilet. Stop trying to hurt people, demean people, trying to intimidate people including the elderly into paying debt they do not owe. I'd hate to be standing anywhere near you when your Karma comes to collect. Reminds me of the Legend of Faust he didn't figuring out until it was to late the price for his actions wasn't something he wanted to pay, but it was to late, he had to pay them.
- CREDIT REPORTS replies to interested partySometimes companies, scavengers like Paul J Coleman and associates or the Law Offices of Paul J Coleman as they use both names and they also use phone spoofing as well work off of old credit reports. It is really cheap, like 10 dollars to freeze your credit reports so that no one can view your reports without your consent. This is the first step to stop these thieves from gathering information about you to use against you in trying to collect a dept.. you do not owe. Also, go to the FTC website and they will explain how tacking on fees extra is not legal and how that works. Its best to read it first hand. File a complaint with the Attorney General he is familiar with Paul J Coleman and associates and file against him with the FTC, they are also familiar with him. If a lot of individuals being harassed by this company choose to get together a class action law suit can take place as it has been proven in a court of law and before the Attorney General that the Offices of Paul J Coleman use unfair debt collection practices. You can do a search online and it will take you to a page and there is a list of individuals we have sued and won.
- Pop123 replies to tomWOW that was great information!!!!! THANK YOU (caps were not yelling only heightened appreciation)
- Defender replies to upsetwas it Mark Smith? I am wondering what state you are in. Call the Attorney General First thing tomorrow and file a complaint. The Attorney General has already disciplined and find Paul Coleman and Associates and the Law Offices of Paul J Coleman. Then go to the FTC site and call and file a complaint with them and then go to the bar association. You are well with in your rights. I hired an attorney and we are doing all of the above plus more. Paul J Coleman Associates claimed they represented a bank; a bank I do present business with and have no bad debt with. They claimed first I owed something from 2000 and stopped paying then, then in another conversation they said 2002. Both Mark Smith, Michael Feinstein, Crystal and someone that sounds like like Mark Smith but using another name have given me all crossed, changed stories. I called the bank faxed over all information to them and they said I never owed the debt and that Coleman does not represent them. You can send them a demand letter that they provide you will full and complete disclosure with all documentation, all receipts and signatures as why they think you owe the debt. And one piece of paper with a signature on it does not cut it in a court of law. Not to mention you can depending on your state statue of limitations which has probably run out to dismiss the case and nothing else has to be said. The case will be dismissed. Keep any and all messages they leave on your machine and copy them onto a CD or tape. Record all conversations if your state allows it. I'd avoid talking to them. There is a website that will assist women with legal matters. Then if you need to find an attorney you can include that the collection company have to pay all attorney fees. Just double check the laws in your state and go to the FTC website, Attorney General, Free Legal Council to begin with many attorneys do offer free consultations and some will do pro bono and make other arrangements. In the end my bet is Paul J Coleman will be financially responsible. Type in his name and a list of suits already filed against him will come up online for unfair collection act and it was the consumer who sued and won against Paul J Coleman and Associates.
- BringDown-KM replies to km| 1 replyKM you have no idea what you are talking about. You hardly know how to put together a sentence. Go to school, wash your hands, wash your face, clean up your act, keep away from the keyboard. Oh wait then you probably get paid by the hour to do this and the blood money will lessen. The only control you have is the control others give you; so guess what, here, you have none. You just can't help spew negativity all over place like a broken sewer pipe. But what if some very astute young computer wizard pulls up your IP Address and traces it; what collection agency would we track you to? Then what, you can't hide behind the computer anymore, caught with the preverbal pants down. Your right situations do change, tables can be turned can't they.
- The Mean KM replies to BringDown-KMWell post away KM because maybe just maybe when the Attorney General investigates Paul J Coleman Associates again and the FTC and Bar association investigates them again finding in the consumers favor again they can come over here, track her IP back to her and find out if she works for the company. If she works for the company then this is considered harassment as well and just digs the hole deeper for her boss. Of course I'm thinking that KM might be a weasel of a guy. Someone in real life you go "boo" and he wets his pants runs and hides, but over the phone or on the internet he tries and represents himself with power, savvy and brains which, he has failed at miserably. Then KM will be without a job and no way to pay the bills and then he or she can call and harass her or himself. Then it will be much easier to criticize can this person can look in the mirror and see everything thats hanging out and go to it "call yourself names".
