Much of what you all have said.  I will tell you that the song they play is by Simon and Garfunkel.  I reported this number to the Ohio Attorney General's Office.

I have now received 2 phone calls from this number on my cell.  When I answer there is a recording that says "I'm sorry, All of our operators are currently busy. We will try this call again later".  Do they make money from these phone calls somehow?

I have the same problem.  I just got a new cell # about 3 weeks ago and for 3 weeks I get this call everyday about twice a day.  When I answer it, nothing.  When I call it back, music.  Very frustrating. I live in Texas and from what I can see we are all being hit around the U.S. by this annoying phone call.

I've been getting these calls too every single day at least 3 times a day on my cell phone for about 2 weeks now. They call and leave a message EVERY TIME calling my first name only like "Holly?" "Hello, Holly?" then they hang up. I too am unable to reach anyone when I call. There seems to be more than one number they call from, so far my caller id has showed:
(866) 491-7121 - (866) 493-7312 - (866)491-7312. I don't use the phone much at all so it is a prepaid rather than a plan. The only people that know the number is my family, I have used the number on occasion to buy online rather than use my home # just to avoid telemarketers! On my voicemail it does say "Hi this is Holly, leave a message" maybe that is why they do not use my last name? Does anybody have legal knowledge in this area?? This sounds like some kind of scam to me especially since they are trying to verify credit card info. I tried to do several reverse phone lookups to no avail.

I'm in Hawaii and have been receiving these calls like 4 times a day every day and is totally FED UP with these people.  When I answer no one is there except silence.  So now when I see this number pop up I don't even answer it.  I'm waiting for someone to answer so I can give them a piece if my mind.

I get a call from this number at elast once a day, and a few hours later get a call from 866-491-7312. When I answer them I get hung up on, and when I try to call them back I get a message saying the business is closed. This is seriously ridiculous.

Inever had these calls until I got Vonage...does anyone else have the digital phone? I wonder if it has something to do with that....

After renewing my contract with AT&T, I began to get calls from this number several times a day.

I have gotten a phone call twice from the number 866-491-7121. I had my fiance look up the number and I just got this forum. I've done several reverse look ups and nothing on this number, it seems as if it doesn't exist. I haven't answered the call, but I called them back and it was just some music. I am completely creeped out by this. I never give out my number, and this is the second time I have changed my number because of spam phone calls. I'm not sure if this is a scam......it probably is. But when people tell of the music and the hang ups, and somone saying...."you so bad" and hanging up, and getting all kinds of people claiming they are from all different companies, and calling them by their fist names and having thier CC number....I am freaked out! I think i'm going to change my number again. I don't have digital phone or anything and I haven't bought anything over the internet in quite some time so I am curious as to why I am getting these phone calls outta the blue. I'm getting these calls on my cell phone btw, and I have blocked every incoming call except for those in my phone book...hopefully I don't hear from them again.

I got called from this number too and several others over the past two weeks.  I never answer.  Ppl, don't get freaked out by the CC# thing, anyone who can hack a computer (if you shop online) or read a reciept can get the last 4 digits of your credit card. As long as they don't have your security code, your exp date, and the rest of the number you are pretty much ok.  Also, don't answer the phone anymore with these calls and don't call back.  That is how they know it is a real number and they keep calling (it's just like those stupid junk emails).

We've been getting calls from this # every morning around 6:00--8:00 AM for months.same troubls we got from this # as other people did. Please do something to stop this #!!!

They won't stop calling! I finally answered and nobody was there. I called the number back and got a messgae saying they were closed. No business name was mentioned. I'm reporting this to the FTC. This has to stop.

i was rude to both of them and shortly after this # (866 491-7121) started calling me 2-4 times a day.

Just hangs up once  i answer the phone, i tried calling back and some song plays.

I get calls from them everyday. I usually ignore them, but I have told them to stop calling once. Then today I answered their call and told the guy to stop calling me. He said they would stop calling me when I accept my free "gift". I asked to speak to a manager and he said no.

I have been getting call from this number for at least 2 months now! I have not answered any of the calls! I have called back to see who it was and I heard nothing not even the phone ringing!
I finally decided to answer and I didnt even let the guy say a word and told them to stop calling me that I didnt care what it was just dont call me! He then stated that he had a prescription of mine and that I could sue him his company or whatever! I didnt mention anything about suing anyone! Just told them to leave me alone! He said you dont want your prescription I said NO leave me alone!
The only place I see them getting my number is a went to a website and was going to order these diet pills and I got screwed on that and they had to have sold my phone number! I do think they are getting our numbers from ordering online!
Even after I told them to leave me alone they are still calling me 2 times a day!
