Keep getting calls from this number but once I answer there is nobody there.

I got a call from "Visa" from this number.  What happened was that I stupidly purchased something online without checking out the company.  That company then sold my CC information and my address.  If you have received a call from this number, find out which credit card number they have and CANCEL THE CARD.  Then, the next time they call, record the number they called from, the persons' name calling, and ask for their address.  They'll hang up every time you ask for an address (and the calls won't happen as often after that).  I'm not sure, but I think they're legally obligated to give you their address.  Does that mean I can sue them?

They call my home phone, which is unlisted, about twice a week. If I answer they just hang up. Then I *69 to get the number, call it, and get a recording saying their offices are closed and call back during regular business hours. I get this message whether it's 1am or 1pm. Nothing that identifies who it is.  Does anyone know how to trace the humber?  Shouldn't the phone company be able to do this?! It's V-annoying!!!

No one would say anything when I answer.

i keep getting calls from that number, too!  when i answered once they said they were my bank calling to get my address.  they knew my street address, but didn't know which city and state i live in.  weird.  i have a virginia phone number and i haven't rented a car.  i don't know how they got my nuumber.

Got about 3 phone calls in my cell from this # in Rhode Island. haven't rent a car.

music or a recorder saying the office is close call in working hours, Who has this number?....

I received a call on my cell phone today. I didn't give them a chance to talk. I told them not to call again. I hope it works.

I still get one of these calls a day after setting up new Time Warner digital phone service last week.

Nobody is there if I answer, and I get a short loop of a John Denver/Simon & Garfunkel type song over and over if I call back.

They've called me five times a day for weeks now on my cel.  When I answer "law office" they hang up.  Yesterday, I answered "hello"?  They went into a telemarket speal about my credit card ending in the digits xxxx and said "We see you've used your rewards recently...I'm calling to tell you that you've just won a free gift certificate to Walmart..."

I screamed at her-  "I am a lawyer.  I know this is a scam.  Take me off your call list.  I've already reported you to the FCC.  Don't ever call me again!"

My mother in law gets calls from this number on a daily basis.  They tell her that she has won a prize and to confirm the last 4 digits of her credit card number.  After doing a little research today I told her to tell them she doesnt have any credit cards and to stop calling her and then hang up.  I will report later if this stops the calls or not.

It thought my ex was callin me from her work or something. but i never get to talk to who calls bcuz they hang up the phone. When i call back i tells me that the office is closed. Dont matter wen i call.

They have been calling my work phone from this number: 866-491-7121 two three times a day.  I don't pick up.  But, it is anoying. I haven't rent car or anything in years.

Yes! I just called my service provider to block this #.  I get a call everyday and got a hang up when I answered.

I get this call 2x a day and get a hung up when I pick up.
