Caller solicited air time on radio station but refused to give any information on his business, refused to fax us further information and could not give us any concrete information about his company. Call back number went to New World Marketing. When pressed for information as to what the funds contributed to he said it was for operating funds for the radio station to run a public service message. Claimed to represent KJCS radio station in Nacogdoches, Texas. We refused to contribute and requested our number be removed from his call list.

I just spoke to a represenative and took my info to remove by biz off the list. He profoundly apoligized for "bothering' me once I told him my work situation...Also wanted to know if the rep was courtious etc...Got to  give em credit for at least trying unlike the rest of the telemarketers...All I know is filed a harrassment complaint against Merchant Services with the FTC yesterday..Fk em!!!!!!!

This New World Marketing caled offering air time next month on a radio station. Did happen to hang up on him after I asked what he was selling.

Called asking for the boss by his first name and then asked for his cell number. He hung up on me when I said I didn't have it.
I'm sure this same guy has been calling from a "private number" He usually hangs up after I tell him the boss is not in.

Do they really think we are that stupid?

Called and asked for the boss by his first name only. So I goggled the number and told the boss a telemarketer was on the line. You can imagine what he said... so I left him on eternal hold.
I went on their web page last time they called and asked that they remove our number: http://newworldmkt.com/contact_us  - They didn't remove it.
Do you think he got the message this time? Doubt it!
If they call again I will file a harassment charge against them.

Pretty much the same here as everybody else. They ask for the boss, when told he is not in they repond rudely and hang up. I looked up the information noted above for

I have asked several times to be removed and like always no response. I will be submitting this information to the FCC and I will be sending a certified letter.

I despise telemarketers! I don't harrass them for my business why should they harras me?

received call from these guys this morning. I like to wait until they same hello before I say anything while I was waiting I could hear in the background people talk, a man was yelling hound these people and don't take no for an answer. sounds like a boiler room scam to me.

called 1-866-499-8810 Ext.234 asked to be taken off calling list, the person was very polite and said that we would be taken off list immediately.

Guy called and asked for my boss (attorney).  Said he was calling re a "child safety program" and needed "10 seconds" of his time.  Told him he was with a client.  He wouldn't leave a message, said he'd call back.

I'm on the no-call list so this really upsets me because they don't even wait for the answering machine or if they do they just hang up. all that shows on the call ID is the phone number. I thought it was a law that the name of the company has to be on there too.

Same here (asked for attorney by first name) multiple days in a row.  Said he was calling from some "news" media regarding missing child reports.  I LIKE the eternal hold idea!

2nd call today. This call at 9:46 a.m.  only rang twice, never was able to pick-up and call was dead.  Caller id new world. Telemarketing is a billion dollar a year business. When people stop opening their wallets, the telemarketers may go away. Ah-never.

Call came in from KJCS radio and this guy asked for our Managing Partner. He started with his long boring advertisement and i told him he didn't have to say all of that, and just as fast as he was talking i did the same thing back at him. " we don't tolerate solicitng at all at this company, you wouldnt speak with the manager remove our number from your datsbase and if you call this office again i will file a harrassment complaint, is that clear?" And i will!

Caller was very rude because I stated that I was in a recording session with a client and could not speak with them at the moment. Asked me "Do you know who we are"? I will reserve comment on that one. The caller said he represented Radio Mon or Radio One, hard to understand at the time. I have tried to remove my number from all solicitors. It is not working. Very frustrated

These people call here daily.  I always tell them the same thing, "the owner does not take solicitation calls, no I will not give you his cell phone number or direct line" (like I'd say "okay, here you go...got a pencil and paper?)  they never, ever leave a message.

I called the number back, like the above poster said to so I could ask them to remove us from their list, all I get is a fax machine.  I have checked and re-checked the number.  It is the same number they are calling from.  How come all I get a fax when I call back?  This is such B.S.

Mr. Monty:

You do not handle customer service campaigns for radio stations; you buy blocks of time and then resell (upsell) the spot cost to small businesses under the guise of community service. The stations you buy from do not appreciate your reps claiming to be from their stations when you call.

It is hard enough to run a small business during a recession; we do not need the added insult of wasting our money on radio spots that cost up to 5 times the rate that we can get.
