they left this number for me to call 866-577-8402

This number, 866-577-8402, keeps calling my cell phone. I did a global search today to see if anything would come up and it did. The on-line reports say this is "Sears Collection" number. I'm glad I researched because I remembered I received 2 things in the mail within the last 2 months with this "Sears" business listed wanting to get in touch with me for debt collection. Obviously, there is no such thing relating to me or any of my family. I am going to forward this information to the Attorney General's Office here in Georgia for processing and pursuit of this scam company. I am also going to report the number associated with it to all regulatory agencies which includes the Public Service Commission (PSC). If you get a call from this number and you answer it with a physical person on the other end, be sure to mention "Cease and desist! Attorney General's Office. Public Service Commission. And most importantly "I have contacted these agencies and given them your information as a "regulatory threat" contact. They should stop contacting you after this. If not, however, be sure to continue to follow up with the regulatory agencies above. If you can get hold of the actual company doing this, go for a lawsuit as well. That's what I am going to do. Good luck everyone! These illegal harassment calls will only stop if we take action against them!!!!...L

I have received many phone calls from 1-866-577-8402.  I went to the FCC website and filed a complaint against this company.  PLEASE DO THE SAME!

I also keep getting calls from 1-866-577-8402.  I saw that someone had tied them with debt collection for HSBC and Fingerhut, two accounts which I've had in the past, but have paid off.  They won't leave a message with me, but I did call the number back and gave them my phone number and said to "quit calling me - you have the wrong person".  Of course, they didn't stop.  I'm going to file their number with the National Do Not Call Registry.  I'm also going to file a complaint with the Office of the Attorney General's Office tonight.

I have received numerous calls on my unlisted work number. This is a recording with a "Craig Jepson" calling about an "important matter". However, it is not stated what the call is about or even who he is calling. I receive at least 3-5 calls per week. I don't want to call the number back, as it "validates" that I have received the call.

Just got a call from Craig Jetson, or Jenson????  Wants me to call back but no info other than VERY IMPORTANT MATTER NEEDS TO BE DISCUSSED and NOT A SALES CALL.  Why can't they say WHY they are calling?????

They cant say why, because if they are a debt collection agency they are not allowed to inform a 3rd party of your debt.  So by leaving a message that says "hey, you owe us money" would get them in trouble...assuming they are legit.  I am not so sure these guys are.

I recived this call today, right now actually, and picked up the phone and said hello 4-5 times before the actual human picked up.  The woman was telling me how I was going to go to jail and how they are in court "right now" trying to have me put in jail if I dont pay them $5,800.  Thats part of the reason I dont think they are real, becuase its illegal to threaten jail (see any of the fedral debt collection websites).  Also when I told the woman that the person she was looking for is not me and I dont know them she got mad and asked if I was ready to go to jail just because I was going to pretend like it is not me. I am male, the name they are looking for is Alice...I never knew of any guys named Alice.

Someone calls me from this number on a daily basis.  I am not home most of the time so my caller ID informs me.  I called the number and a women answered like I had just awakened her.  I ask who I was talking to and she responded with a almost inaudable "something, something recovery"???  I suspision this is a  very low class collection agency.  I have no debt let alone bad debt so don't know why they are calling me.  Think I'll track them down and twist their heads off then pee in the hole.

Caller calls all the time. They never leave a name, just says to please call.  If you cannot tell me the name of a company or what your call is about, don't call.

It is a debt agency that is buying delinquent accounts. Mine was my Aspen MC card.. Hope this helps all out more I called them back

Have called many times. I am filing a complaint for harassment.
I told them to put me on their do not call list.

This is Craig Jepson, this is my number and you can call me anytime and I will let you know what it is all about.  I make many calls daily to deadbeat credit card holders who haven't payed thier debts. If you have an outstanding debt you just might get a call from me. I make a living tracking down people just like all of you who "say" you owe nothing but your credit report and outstanding balance say otherwise.

This guy "craig jepson", keeps leaving messages that it is urgent that I get back to him (he tries to sound menacing). Now that I have been lucky enough to find this site with all the other folks who have been harassed by this scam artist/company, I will complain to the FCC.

Got a call from a Craig Jetson(not sure of last name).  I let my voicemail on my cell phone get it.  The message stated that he had an urgent matter to discuss with me and kept saying over and over that it was not a sales call.  Well guess what Mr. Craig - you aren't gonna have fun talking to me if you ever get me in person.  I am glad I found this site also.  Let's annoy the hell out of him like he does us.  Mess with his mind somehow.  Just start talking about something totally absurd.

Also got a call from Craig Jepson from 1-866-577-8402 asking me to call back about an important matter. Of course I ignored it.  But I am going to complain to the FCC, PSC and the Attorney General's Office.

They called me with war dialier (automatic dialier), then when i called back.  They asked me for my phone number.  I tell them I don't know it and ask them to look up by name.  They can't find my name, but ask me for my social or my phone number.

I call again and give them my phone number, and I am not in the system.  How did their war dialer dial me twice if I am not in their system.  They then asked me for my social or first name, so they could collect data.

I asked them for a mailing address or to speak with a manager and they told me that they could not do that without my number being in their system.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR SOCIAL or even any two pieces of info at the same time.  I hope the feds get them.
