these people call me everyday. i refuse to answer because i know this is a scam. if this was a real collection call, they would not be using an automated voice message and they would say who they are. it always starts out with this is craig jetson and this is not a sales call. bull!

I just got this call, like many times before, at 8:12 pm on 10/20/08 from a so called Clayton Jeffson. on my cell phone - which is on the do not call list. I am a licensed attorney with stellar credit. The recording says to press a button to connect or call him. no mention of what he wants. It costs me money to check my voice mail, so if I get my hands on this jerk, he will be sued for the $10k fine for the do not call list in addition to whatever I can get for the harassing phone calls & expenses incurred. I am pretty sure this is a scam or someone who is violating the Federal Debt Collections Act is some way. not my "professional" opinion, just a hunch.
Can we get the cell phone company to do anything about this?!

CAlls from Craig Jepson every few days on my cell phone no reference to what it is about but he says it is not a sales call I have no debts This man needs to stop calling it is getting to the point of harrasment

They just go down a list of numbers.Every number connects to someone they can scam.Collection agencies do not act in this manner.Any info that seems correct came off your credit report.

This number 866-577-8402 to return calls to is from Leading Edge collection agency.  When I used *69 the call was from 800 663 4707.  "Craig Jepson/Jenson" recording said he needed a return call.

When I called back they asked for my old boyfriend who hasn't lived here for 2 years.  He had only one debt (AT&T) from maybe 4 years ago- I know this because we had talked about old debts and he said he'd let this one hang a while but had paid it to AT&T with no collection action.  Whatever.

Anyhow, a lady answered "Leading Edge" when I returned the call, asked for him, I said no one lived here by that name and she hung up.  Hope there are no futher calls!  If you see this on other websites, I'm going to add it to a few sites to help other people.

Hey [***] - I have nothing past due at all. You left a message saying you "need" a return call? NEED??  You won't get one from me and you won't call me again.

i got the same message from a different number (18006634707) its really getting annoying

This Craig Jen(p)son person has called my cell phone while I am at work, and I am a teacher, so it's pretty embarrassing having my cell phone go off during class!  I finally called the number it is for Leading Edge a collection company and they were looking for someone named Leroy.  We have gotten these weird calls and told them we don't know that person.  It is so upsetting to get these calls repeatedly!  We are on the do not call list also.  Go figure!

Craig Jepson leaves a voice mail on my cell phone about about every other day.  The phone never rings, he just leaves the message on my voice mail.  Never says who he is with.

[note: name was pronounced Craig Jepson (with a "P") not Jenson... listened to the msg a few times to make sure.]

This craig jetson guy is messing with the wrong people this time.

Craig Jensen recording asking me to call him back immediately.  "Not a telemarking call" he says.  However, it's Leading Edge Recovery, a Chicago, IL collection agency.

I haven't gotten a call from this particular but have had simlar experiances. Get all the info you can, esprically contact info (address, phone, person's name, etc.) Then contact a consumer rights attorney and sue them. Even if they are an acutal collection agency, they are breaking the law with their aggressive actions. Look for an attorney on the NACA website (National organization of consumer rights attorneys) and find one - they will take the case on a contingency (and won't take if they feel it isn't winnable so they'll be honest with you) Aggressive debt collectors who break the law need to  be put out of business.

I get it from this Craig guy weekly as well. I dont know what he wants but everytime I get an "unknown" call on my caller id I just let go straight to my voice mail

I got a call from same number only this time it is a different name - daryl ross - same automated message as before with the name Craig Jepson.  But this call came in last night at around 8:43pm - I thought according to the Fair Debt Act that they were not suppossed to call after 8pm?  Am I correct in this.  All I can say is that my voicemail cannot press 1.

these people are rude, snappy, and do nothing but harass you. I recently changed my number, once I got all the wrong number to stop calling me I get an automated call from a guy named Richard Silver asking me to call him back. I just usually hang up but after two weeks of him calling me 3-4 times a week I finally called the number back. I talked to some guy who told me that the calls are a wrong number and that he would remove me from the system, when I asked why it was in the computer as a wrong number but still calling me, he became very rude and defensive. He told me it takes 24hrs for my number to be removed from there automated calling list, 2 days later I just received another call.

Ive tried everything I can do, Ive talked to them multiple times, they refuse to give me a supervisor and they wont stop calling. I finally got my work, school, doctors offices, and friends switched over to my new number. I really don't want to have to change it again.

wow I like how there business is so bad they have to troll forums to make it sound like there trying to help people. ya email them so they can sell your email address or harass you another way. [***].
