- KristzeeThey call at least 3X daily almost every day. I have answered it several times, but no one is there. If I continue to hold , the call disconnects itself without a word. I've heard it is a collection agency. Since I pay my bills on time, and owe no one, I can't imagine who they want. I just want this to stop! I am on the no call list, but obviously, to no avail.
- David SGot a call from this number 1/2/2016 & 1/3/2016 with the caller ID reporting 'Midland Credit', got a phone number to call back: 800-265-8825 which is 'Mitland Credit'. Both numbers are associated with federal credit violations and/or harassment law suits. I dropped a note to the FBI and if it happens to you I askyou to do the same!
- Caller: Midland or Mitland Credit
- Call type: Debt collector
- mateyok after 4 calls over the last couple days and then reading all this stuff i took a proactive approach and called them. i refused to give my name but did give them the number they were calling. it was for a person other than myself. was told the calls would stop within 34 hours. we will see.
- Caller: midland credit
- Call type: Debt collector
- KathleenThey say we owe a dept. I tell them to take my number out of their system. I have no debt.
- Caller: Midland Credit
- KaiI ignored their call, but I wonder why they called me, because I am a freshman in high school...
- PhoneOwner101I finally answered after seeing the number on call Id several times, never leaving a message. East Indian guy trying to sound legit, telling me he is collecting an old MasterCard debt. I already know there is zero possibility of it even being a forgotten, or somehow missed balance due, because it was issued through Citibank. I never dealt with them.. This debt DOES NOT EXIST! I played with them for a bit, negotiated it down to less than half of the original amount, talked to another rep with better English skills, discussed the morality of responsibly using credit cards, trust issues with allowing your spouse to run up a balance on a card... I was truly amazed at his ability to be a bit preachy about honesty, trust, and making sure my spouse knows that she can depend on me to take care of her... All the while this guy is asking for my bank info... In essence, picking my pocket... These are gypsy maneuvers.. Bordering on psychopathy.
If you get this call, do not let them convince you that you owe them anything. You may have debt, you may feel scared or intimidated into complying with their narrative... But they are criminals with absolutely ZERO LEGITIMACY.. They have nothing on you.. It's fun to waste their time for a few minutes... But then you quickly realize who's time is really being wasted. Ignore them, report them to whatever agency, block them... Unfortunately they will be around in one form or another till the end of time. Just know when you're being scammed, know the signs, know that "knowing is half the battle" ( -GI Joe )- Caller: FAKE Debt Collector

- MarlinThis number has been calling me for quite some time now. I picked up for once and an arabic man answered, giving me the debt collection spiel. He spoke of credit card debt for a card I've never owned! The eerie part is that he had my address to my old place! I expressed that I've never owned such a card & he gave me an address to mail a handwritten note to expressing that I've never owned this card & a police report. I was flustered at first, but what triggered me was his name.....Jaime Willis. I've never known an Arabic man named Jaime. Much less with the last name Willis.

- MaryBerry replies to soldier girlBe Careful! It's a scammer, they get your last 4 numbers of your social and try to trick you into giving them the rest of your private info. They will sound legit with the wordage they use but they are not! If you question them about them being real, they yell at you and insult you! Real debt collectors do not do that! The real ones will always send you a letter first so you have the record in writing! Add all fake numbers to your Attorney General's list,go on Google for their site, all states have a complaint area. Everyone should educate themselves about these people, once they have your social security number, they will receive a "ping" each time you get a new bank account, credit card, store card, and they will copy that info abd "go to town" with it! After that, calling the credit bureaus so they can put an alert on your account plus getting prepaid bank cards(they use real banks but are protected from scammers because theyre prepaid) would be your only way of protection from these jerks. I know because my identity was stolen before and I had to do all of that. Best prepaid that I have used has been Upside card,go to Google ffor the website. Good luck everyone!
- MaryBerry replies to meYou can do that or just get an app that blocks unwanted callers. Some phones already have that feature, options on your phone settings will have a "block number" option. Some cell companies offer the service as well,so you can always give them a call and block those scammers for good! No more trying to steal our money!!!
- ExtremelyANNOYEDI've received numerous calls from this number, beginning at 8:30am throughout the day. When I've answered, there's no response for the first 3 seconds, then it clicks to a busy signal.
- Dot Wins866-580-4780 has called once a day for 8 days. When we answer, there is dead air on the other end.
- Jo-Ann MoyerRec'd call. They call everyday & do not leave msg. I want them to stop. Seems this is a company that breaks federal law from what I found on internet re: this number.

- virginia replies to Richardi have already go 4 calls today; 2 on home phone and 2 on cell phone; they start sometimes before 8;30 and go until sometimes right at 9 p.m.i got to where i don;t answer the phones; it just gives numbers on the i.d and it says united states; don't say what state they are calling from;; i have been getting them i know for about a year;; they start before i get up in the morning;; i just turned 81 on dec. 31st and not in good health and live by myself and have trouble resting and sleeping and then those idiots will ring the phone and they won't leave a message on the answering machine;;
- Lucythey called me at 8:05 yesterday and three more times. This morning they have already called me at about 8:15am. I am now blocking the #. This is infuriating. It may be due to "Tameda W---------" in Detroit stealing my daughter's social security number and opening at least 4 cell phone accounts in her name and my daughter's social security number. Then the collectors for the unpaid cell phone bills trace the social security # back to my landline even though I am a 70+ year old woman living in suburban Chicago area. Thank you "Tameda" - or "Tamika" - which ever name you are using now. Thank you Miss W for years of harassment.
- Mrs HI've been getting calls sense the New Year, no message on vm. But when they call you back they say they are from a debt collection agency. Even if you have a debt in collection, who's to say who these people REALLY are? Smells fishy to me!
