I also received the call from "Tony" at extension 1001.  it's funny how his message comes right out and states this is not a cold call, sales pitch, time share offer, not a telemarketer.... blah blah blah.  It appears from the rest of the postings it is a bunch or crap!  Some people and companies have no SHAME.  These people are just like insurance companies.  They take your money and treat you like crap!  Remember when you were a kid and you were taught things like HONESTY, INTEGRITY, BEING CONSIDERATE, CARING, THOUGHTFUL, ETC by your parents?  Obviously these types of people and their employers were never taught the common acts of decency?!!!

I am employed by the Prize Fulfillment Center. In reading all of your comments/complaints, I've not found ANY foundation nor reasoning as to why you all feel like what we do is a scam.  First of all, if you have NOT responded to the call, how can you make a definitive assessment of why we're calling?  Secondly, we do NOT place cold calls.  The information we receive actually DOES come from individuals who HAVE INDEED, whether knowingly or not, filled out a contest entry form of some kind.  I have done that myself.  When surfing the web, replying or filling out surveys in pop-up windows, at the local grocery store for a sweepstakes, etc.  Finally, again, if you have NOT responded, I admonish you to gracefully keep your negative comments to yourselves as this kind of beratement does in fact hurt businesses who are attempting to strive in this worsening economy.  Thank you.  Oh yeah, and it's SUPPOSEDLY.

If you disclose ANY financial account information you can expect to encounter all kinds of new unexplained charges.

Tony just called us and we're so excited about the prizes we've won! In fact, we're so excited we called back and, when we got Tony's voicemail, we left his message for him on his answering machine. I think from now on I'm going to start giving Tony's name and number when I get hit on at the bar or club. He sounds kind of cute so maybe I'll just start calling him everyday to chat. Maybe he's single and into swinging with my husband and me. Since we're on the DNC list, I'm sure we must have actually filled out the form he's talking about. We were probably sleep walking but I'm sure Tony wouldn't disobey the DNC list.

And since I know you read these, Tony, get ready to have your world rocked. I don't have a job or a life so I can call you EVERYDAY as MANY times as humanly possible.

same as the rest claims i entered a contest(does not name which one), says I won a drawing for a car, and I have won one of the top four prizes.  Also, says that he has tried numerous times to contact me (this was the first time), and says this is a timeshare.  WTF do people fall for this.  Tell me what I have won and how to collect.

Said the prize was a trip to one of 5 destinations, Hilton stay, and "$100 voucher for car".

I asked explicitly if this was for a time share, was told no.

Asked why I needed to have an income over $45,000 to claim a prize (I just legitimately won a trip to the Video Music Awards on behalf of Pepsi and KDGE - they do NOT require such information) and got the brush off 3 different times with a line of BS.

Asked why I could not bring my children to pick up a "prize" and got a line of BS involving a "VIP room" and a bunch of crap.

In short, they are full of crap. What a waste of time. I stayed on the phone long enough to get the information to post here so it would be google indexed and might save someone else from the scam.

Halfway tempted to show up and pretend I'm drunk just to [***] as many people there as possible.

I got a call from Tony too.  I'm not denying that I didn't fill out a form.  I sometimes do online survey and stuff, but I'm not into the whole timeshare deal.  My parents have 3 of them, that's enough for me, so I'm not calling back.  After reading that e-mail no prize is worth it.  I know my husband wouldn't come with even if I wanted to go.

Learn how to spell dummy. "Persuing" - I couldn't find that in any recognized dictionary. Did you mean "Pursuing"?

And what's a "slender comment"???? Never heard of it!

If you'd learn how to spell rather than how to spam, you might get somewhere.

I was told the prize winners would need to agree to having their pictures published.  Where can we view the photo's of recent winners?

Got a call from a Eugene... same scripted lines as everyone else on this message board said. Called back and the person just said "hello" as if it were a personal home phone number. (1-866-601-8851 ext# 1011) I didn't say anything when the man answered, but I listened for a while. They obviously have caller id because although I didn't say a word, I could hear the man that answered the phone talking to someone else. He kept repeating my last name over and over again as if he were looking up a file he had on me or something. Such creeps! Whatever happened to earning an honest living?

I also received a call from "Tony" and called and spoke to "Yaris?" He told me I won a prize and needed an adult to claim the prize because I am not of age.  Also when I asked him about any cost out of pocket he repeated the question out loud as if someone was hearing and silently telling him what to say...  Apparently they are racists too.  No hispanics allowed that do not speak English.... Also he told me ages 35 and up... But yet now that I have someone trying to call back, no one is available at all... Hmmmm where did everyone go?  They all have vacation day today?

Let me start out by saying i have been receiving these lovely calls going on 4 years now, at one point it was once a week,then month,lately has been hit and miss,i am feeling bad now since i didn't hear from this guy named Tony, but by several others, which all have said "I HAVE WON A CAR!! Well by now this car is 4 years old, i do not drive, leave me alone,loose my number, guess they don't know how to do that, like all of you they say i entered a within 12 to 18 months ago, so why is it the same story after 4 years, what a scam how do these people sleep.
A friend of mine actually fell for it, went and sat in a conference room, it was all about buying into a travel agent thingy, if you paid so much money they can get you really good discount on airfare,hotel's etc, it was such a load of crap and very expensive, she felt really stupid for falling for it--yes i tried to tell her/stop her from wasting her time, but she had that glimmer of hope.
So now i am back getting the calls they must be invading our area, 2 days, 3 calls -when i call back he's busy with another call, so the scam lives on..

I just got a voice mail saying that they have made numerous attempts to reach me and to call regarding my prize.  When I called in, they said I had won one of four prizes including a Lincoln Navigator, $45,000.00, or a flat screen TV.  All I had to do was come to a celebration party tomorrow night a 7pm to pick up the prize.

I called using some fake names and they said oh yes i found you in our system you won 1 out of 4 prizes...  They are cold calling random people and trying to get that one stupid person to fall for their tricks... You guys are so stupid for trying to trick people into thinking they won something... They use caller ID to say what state you live in as if they really do have you in the system... They say you and your wife won so i gave them a random wife name as well and they confirmed it to be true lol... LIARS!!!

the "CONTEST" no one entered is the scam they are using to get around the DONOTCALL laws.   Maybe they are giving cheap crap away at these so called sales meetings.

By claiming you won a contest you never entered is implying a previous business relationship - where none exists.

Another phone scam involves calls from “Prize Distribution Centers” that claim that you are the winner in sweepstakes or a lottery. Of course, you are not the only “winner” in the lottery and tens of thousands of people received the same call. The goal of the scheme is to entice you to make a relatively small payment (for example, shipping and handling fee, a sales tax) promising that a much bigger prize will be sent your way. Once the payment is sent, you will most likely not hear from the company again, and a promised “Lincoln Navigator” will not find its way to your driveway.

Called from 708 833 8664 and left this number (866 601 8851) to call..  Same guy/scam as the above - won a vehicle.  Called id says "Communications G"

Ms Kelley. I'm sure your employer would be THRILLED to know that you are spending your time reading message boards when you SHOULD be WORKING.  No one cares that you work for the "Prize Fulfillment Center."
