Just got the call and I just reported them to the FCC for violation of the Do Not Call law.

You lot could not have won any of the four prizes because Tony just called me and said that I had won.

Tony said all the same things to me.  My husband & I have an "appointment" this week,but since I have read all these comments I'm a little nervous to go.  I am so curious.  I know its a travel agency condo thing, we have no intentions on buying.  But has anyone heard if anyone has won the car or the money???  We could really use the cash. I would expect a dumb tv or impossible-to-book vacation, I never win anything.  Still not sure if we will go...hmmmmm...  Any idea on where to look for the ones that have won the car/$$$ or do you think that is a lie to get us in there???

You sound just like the type of person this company is looking for.

Same call came thru last night.  Tony; entered contest last 12-18 months; wina a car; call 866-601-8851 ext 1001; etc.

Bottom line...this is telemarketing.  Just report it to DONOTCALL.gov.  Let the Feds handle it.  Let them figure out if you entered a contest or not (we know we didn't don't we?).

Feds will demand proof from the Prize Fulfillment Center (PFC) of said contest entry.  If the PFC presents an entry, Fed can check yours & their internet logs to see if you did or not fill one out.  If Feds discover it's a phony entry scammed up by the PFC, it'll be a federal rap for the PFC for forgery...and, we're talking interstate and wire-fraud too (internet).

Tony and his crew can belittle and berate you all they want, but keep pinging the DONOTCALL.gov website with complaints, and we'll see who gets belittled and berated.

Lets clarify what this is.  This prize fulfillment center uses deceptive practices by saying "Tony Mitchell" has attempted to call numerous times when in fact he has never called before.  Tony doesn't answer his own phone, some other guy did (Sorry didn't get his name)after 5 attempts to call.  This gentleman had to be pressured to answer any questions, but was tolerant of my pressure.  The location of this ---- uh opportunity is 1516 Prudential Dr. Jacksonville FL. He also said it is a Condominium Travel Club.  The prizes include a vehicle, a 17 in flat screen TV and another item.  
Let's clarify something- if anybody calls my home and offers ANYTHING FREE, but doesn't surrender any information willing, this is a SCAM.  Or at least an attempt to separate me from hard earned $$ with questionable motives.  If anybody got "Good Vibes" off this ---- uh opportunity remember you will receive the smallest and least expensive gift but YOU WILL be pressured to buy into their--- uh opportunity.  This opportunity is a long term commitment that will cost you $$$ every year.  REMEMBER you get nothing for free.  The TV will cost your time to listen to their offer (They risk a few dollars) with hopes that you spend bigger $$s on their product.  
Tell this company to remove your name and phone number from their data base.  I could almost guarantee that they will still receive more calls again within a year or so.

Dear friends in Jacksonville and across the country.  (Please see my other message)  I had been shopping for cars at Toyota at the avenues on Phillips Hwy and Southside BLVD and Hyundai's at Key Buick on Southside BLVD near Tinsel Town.  If you have been shopping for cars keep note which dealers you gave your personal information to.
If I find out that one of these dealers (or other business) I will stop doing business with them and may even consider legal action.  For our law student yes this will not scare them and do little damage but the reverse harassment will make me feel better-  Arrrggg  ;-)

Tony has contacted my cell phone and home phone number, which have both been on opt out call id!  

He also sounded like I was in trouble for not returning his call.  The first call came thru on my cell phone during church on Wednesday night and stated that would be the last time he would contact me.  The second call came tonight at 8:50 p.m. stating that this would be his last time he would call.  

Hope it's the last time he calls!

My husband & I did attend the meeting. Turns out it is for Pulaski Travel Club/Agency.  No, we didn't win the car or the $$$, but we did get 2 complimentary airline tickets, a 3 day/2 night stay at a hotel, & a cruise.  I have to say that the sales reps were friendly, not pushy.  During the 1 hour presentation, at the very beginning they stated the name of the company, what they were selling (vacation package wholesale club), and how much it cost.  The rest of the time was spent breaking down the price & telling us the benefits of membership. Afterwards, we stood our ground in not wanting to buy anything, received our gift & left.  There was no pushy or tricky sales tactics.  Just people trying to make a living. I didn't feel it a scam, though it wasn't practical for our lifestyle.  I was curious about it, now I know & won't take the call next time.  The condo club could certainly approach customers in a much better way than the "you've won a sweepstakes" telemarketing calls.

"this is the last attempt to call you, it would be in your best interest to call me back" blah blah, i wish I had seen these posts before calling back. Tony was not available. what kind of action can we take when they obviously are telemarketing? He didn't give ask for a name when he called, but when I called back I left my name. I am so angry with myself. I should've known better.

Yea, this jerk called me a couple of days ago. The caller id showed a local cell number. I deleted the message. Now he called again today. This time caller id said private number. If a contest was entered in your name, wouldn't he know it? These kind of people irritate me!

Good ole Mike called me same as everyone else. I guess they have a lot of cars to give away! It must be GM!!

Tony said the exact same thing to me as he has said above.  I have not called back, I am also on the do not call list.  So I am not sure what the heck he is talking about.  I do not recall entereing anything in the last 12-48 months.  Called at 8:44 on Oct 3.

Same old scam message that I won a prize. I don't enter sweepstakes, and my number is on the do not call list. This needs to be stopped! This kind of junk scammed my mother out of 10,000 dollars that she could not afford.
