Got called by this number, left no message.  Called it back.  Said she Virgin Mobile was working with Bell Canada and Bell Mobility and wanted my phone numbers so she could look up my profile because there was a problem with account.  Think she was going to ask for account number so I asked her, her name again and she said Ryzell and gave me her employee number of EY34129.   I said I was phoning my Bell office to check on any discrepancies in my billing and she said okay, said thank you and good bye.  Phoned them and they said they were the competitors and it was a total SCAM.  Didn't even know if the real Virgin Mobile was aware of them doing this.
Don't give them ANYTHING - NO INFORMATION AT ALL!

They don't talk and you go ; hello, hello....! then they called someone I know, made up a story about my daughter (seriously) and ask my friend to tell me to call them back!!!! At the number they used to call me but would not talk;866-612-9794 Wow you talk about harassment, especially when they did not even made the effort to speak to me when they called -unbelievable

It was Virgin Mobile. They obviously had my info. They didn't ask for any information but knew how much I owed, so I know it wasn't a scam.

Virgin Mobile use that technique. They are using your personnal informations contained in your cell directory to make collect calls making you believe the call is from a friend... Totally illegal. I encourage you to complain!

Just got a call from this #, been happening for a few days. It's weird because I'm not on virgin mobile or bell. I'll just put it in my rejects list.

It's Virgin Mobile. Well...the foreign ppl they hire at a discount to make the calls anyway. They start calling when im not even late yet, I still have a week. And the guy I got couldnt speak English very well, so annoying.

this number phoned my cell today saying it was Don from Virgin Mobile and my account was overdue.  He wanted me to pay my balance of $50.73 immediately.

I told them this number was not with Virgin but Telus.

He said to call Virgin back at 1-866-612-8483 to clear up my account.

Obviously is a scam.

I get this number several times. I called virgin mobile asking about the number, it's NOT them. They said when this number calls you to call them and report it.

It is virgin mobile, it is NOT a scam you morons, they call because you are over due on your phone bill or there is a problem. If you answer the call you will infact see that it is virgin mobile

called 4 times in one day

I keep getting phone calls from the number 1-866-612-8483 when I'm at work.  When I am at home and the number calls, I answer but nobody is on the other end.

It is very annoying.  I would like for these calls to stop immediately.

Did some research and I believe it is the AR number for Virgin Mobile,  or some overseas company they have hired. I wouldn't give any info to a third party company, deal with the the provider directly! The annoying part is, I noticed this number called me the day after my bill came out. It was even due for 3 more weeks! If I see it again, it's getting blocked in my phone and I'm calling Virgin Mobile on their actual customer service number to let them know.

Calls several times per day. Now I don't answer because in the past there was no response.
This is harassment!

They called 6 times since yesterday. Not sure why I would be over due on a bill I just switched to Virgin Mobile 2 weeks ago. So obviously it is not because it is overdue.
