Bell Canada operates Virgin Mobile in Canada, at slightly lower rates than Bell charges.  It's a way to make it appear to the CRTC that there really is more competition than there is.

With all the scams going around these days i just don't answer unknown numbers.  leave a message if you want a callback . and if its virgin they know we have voicemail. how about using the feature you have provided us with lol.

This is virgin mobile.  We just received our number 5 days ago. We have not received 1 personal call yet! Called back all the other creditors #'s to inform them that whoever had our home # no longer has it. They have all been kind and helpful.  All except Virgin/Bell. I called to inform them that so and so no longer has this #. They transferred me three times.  Then finally someone said oh no terribly sorry you need to talk to residential services.  Fine then. I wait. .. finally someone picks up and I explain the issue. They once again ask for the number in question.  They respond with you don't have an account so I can't help you. Seriously.  I just want them to remove our #. Five times I heard oh so sorry but I can't help. You don't have an account. You have to talk to customer service.  I had talked to customer service and they have transferred me to a few other people.  I suggested how about accounts receivable.  Well you don't have an account they can't help you.  You know they might say sorry to hear your issue many times but not dealing with the issue and bouncing around through transferred calls is very poor costumer service.

I've received 10 CALLS in the past foit days from the phone number 866 612 8483 first day they called me twice second day 3 time third day once and today 4 times! Who keeps calling my phone?!

So I have nothing to do with Virgin Mobile or Bell. I don't owe anybody anything - not even a mortgage. Why are they calling me if it's not a scam.

Thanks. I'm not a moron. I don't have anything to do with Virgin nor with Bell. I don't owe anything to anybody - not even a mortgage. The house, cars, everything is completely paid for and the cell phone (NOT with Virgin or Bell) is paid up in advance for another 7 months. I have checked my credit scores and have a company looking after me in case someone tries to "identity theft" me and they too are prepaid for the rest of the year. So why would a company, supposedly Virgin, be calling me?

Called me twice yesterday

I got a call from the number (8666128483) this morning here in Canada, and they left no message. I called them back and the greeting was from Virgin Mobile Accounts Receivable. I informed the lady who answered that I got a call from them, but do not have an account with them, but rather, with Bell Canada. She asked for my phone number and first and last names. I gave her the number, but refused to give her my name. She said she couldn't help me further if she didn't have my name, so I said Fine, bye. Truly weird.

I got this call several times. They asked for my credit card number directly. I called Virgin, and confirmed that it is not Virgin number. It is a scam.
