So I get calls from this number every single day multiple times a day. I never answer.

There seems to be a lot of conflicting answers here. So is it a scam or is it not ? Is it affiliated with Virgin/Bell or is it not ?

got a call form this number on my cell, they asked for someone by my last name. I asked him to elaborate, he said Mr. i told him my husband doesn't have a virgin mobile account. they told me to get him to call. I insisted they had the wrong guy. He got angry and hung up. This is a scam. clue #1 a company doesn't call and ask for someone just by their first or last name. clue #2 i have never had anything to do with virgin mobile, so why would they call my cell to speak to someone else. if my husband had an account with them they would have his cell #.
clue#3 this ph# has called me many times in the last few weeks but not once did they leave a message. clue #4 this call had scam written all over it.

this is a lie. these calls are scams no question about it. the messages on this forum that says the calls are legit is most likely the same scammers making the calls just posting on different names.

What a pain.  I believe it may be Virgin but just for the fun of it...I am ignoring it.   It seems they cannot wait to get their money.

I got this too on October 18th.

They immediately asked me for a credit card number for my Virgin bill (I am a customer) that is not due until October 28th. Immediately raised a red flag.  Nothing on my bill saying I am overdue or anything.

They continue to call every hour or so.

Got one as well saying they were Virgin Mobile.

We have blocked this number over a year ago and they still try to call. Don't know who or what it is.....STOP!!!!

It is virgin mobile. If you have a balance they will text and then call if you don't respond to texts. People who are with virgin mobile should know this.

I have been called by this number and a few others many times, and I am quite suspicious

They have been calling me too.No message or anything, I owed this month and last month's bill they text me ( Virgin) and I find it weird that I put money on it and over half of bill. I have also chat with agent on line through Virgin Chat and they said it takes it 2-5 business days for payment to show on their end.

this number calls me 5 times a day even into the night . 1-866-612-8483.  This needs to stop... I never answer. This number never leaves a message either its annoying...

I have never had anything to do with virgin mobile, so why would they call my cell which is with Rogers to speak to someone else. If my husband had an account with them they would have his cell # and text him/call that number.

These dorks called on a stat holiday "Family Day". My bill isn't due until March 8. Virgin Mobile will send you a text when your bill is due. It's a bunch of scam artist trying to get money for free.

This number keeps calling my phone, hangs up instantly when you pick up. It's 2017 now for frak's sakes.
