Charged $18.39 to my credit card for an unknow cell phone purchase

charged me twice for over 10.00 each time    cell phone purchase

calling the number says they are closed even during the "open" times

Just received my credit card bill and here is a charge for $38.34 for a cell phone that was purchased from this number of 866-629-7760.  I called my bank and they called this 866 number with me on the line - recording only.  Talk about crooked!  I recommend a formal complaint by everyone to the FTC and the FCC on these folks.

They just took $414.19 out of my account!  I have no idea who they are and I'm damn sure I didn't buy anything from them.  In fact, I had almost no money in that account so I'm way negative and now have overdraft fees.  Whoever Cell Stores VA is, they are CROOKS committing credit card fraud.  I called the number from the transaction on my bank statement and got the same recording.  Searched the number out online, they are not listed but have many complaints about unsolicited calls.  This was the only website I saw that had people posting about it.  I should be able to get the charge taken off as well as the overdraft by just going to my bank.  If anyone knows how to get these guys, please post it or do it.  Thanks.

Charged me 419.07 on a credit card I don't normaly use. I called and was asked for personal information. I said who are you! They said they are a third party seller for the wireless companies. I did not make the purchase! I was put on hold. I reported the fraud to my bank. new card comming.

I posted the cell stores item on 7/7/08. It seems that someone used my acct to signup for two cell phones from att. Cell stores seems to be a supplyer for att sprint etc.. They ship phones. sounds like they may be victims too.

I too had the same problem in credit card statement, but I did not recieve any call or make one.

This number is associated with an alignment business called Wirefly.com.  I recently bought a cell phone with them paid extra for 2 day shipping.  Credit card transaction reads "CELL STORES CELL STORES 866-629-7760."

They (CELL STORES 8666297760 866-6297760 VA) just charged into my credit card for the amount of $59.99. I haven't used my credit card for any purchase, but paying utility bills only. This is wrong business practice and the vendor should be reported to FTC.

CELL STORES 8666297760 VA just charged my account TWICE for 10.01. I never bought anything from this place. I'm really glad to have come across this website. I've already reported it to my credit card company and hopefully, these people will get what they deserve right in the bum for committing credit card fraud.

I recently checked my online transactions and found a bill for $9.99 from this "CELL STORES 8666297760 866-6297760 VA." Now, I HAVE ordered the phones from www.wirefly.com so upon checking my receipt, I found that the bill came from the UPS shipping fee. This IS a legit business as the phones have come to my home already. I expect all the people above have experienced credit card fraud in some way or another.

They just took 250.00 out of my acct today without my permission. My bank sys they is located in Va somewhere & when I contacted them today I got a recording also. I wish I can find out who these mother@#$!! are. I am pissed & they caused me to overdrawn on my acct. I'm going to dispute this to the fullest!!

They charged me $850!  I called them and spoke to someone for awhile.  They said it was for charges for a cell phone sent to Pennsylvania (I live in CA!)  She then said she'd transfer me over to their headquarters.  After waiting for awhile she came back and said that their transfer system wasn't working and that someone would call me back in the 24 hours, so we'll see.  I already reported it to my credit card company.

I am having the opposite problem, I received a credit from this company. I haven't made a cell phone purchase in over a year and yet the guy kept saying he has to look up my order. There is no order! To verify the account, he needed my social security # and phone number. I hung up. It is an odd situation. The credit card company wasn't much help since it was a credit. I will just be vigilant and watch my account.

I checked my account online and saw $600.00 withdraw from my account under 866-629-7760 from VA! I live in California! I called the number and only the answer machine picked up saying "this person is not available at the moment." I googled this number and fortunately I found this forum letting me know that this is a FRUAD!! Thanks to this forum!
