I got my phone through Wirefly and also got this insurance.  Can I assume or do you know if the charges will end when the two year contact is up? I'm a little worried with all these posts I am reading.

If you are recieving this on your bank statement more than likely you have signed up for cell phone coverage through a contract.

Cell Stores in VA were also charging my credit card, $6.99/month every month, but it was actually legit. I forgot about it when I purchased a smartphone through Amazon but if you pull up your original order email from Amazon mine was listed on there as- Total Equipment Coverage for Feature and Advanced Devices $6.99. Hope this helps someone else.

I ordered two phones from this company and received a confirmation to be charged $52.48. I was charged $162.73. After dealing wth 4 people from this company, they kept telling me I altered my order, to make the phones cost me more money, and there is nothing they can do. Although I only recevied a confirmation email for the $52.48. I'm fighting them!

I bought an AT&T phone from the Wirefly website in September 2010 and added an insurance plan for $4.99 a month.  They have never charged me anything other than this.  I agree that people may be victims of other people stealing their credit card and bank info and using it to buy cell phones etc...

I just realized I had been getting this charge ($7.49) for a year but for me it was a wonderful thing. My phone, I purchased through Wirefly.com, is not working correctly and now will be replaced. This saves me over $400, so thanks to everyone that posted here...I would never have noticed the charge or realized I had a protection plan. My advice to everyone is think back...what have you purchased and where...there could be a very good reason for your charges.

I got my phone from Verizon and thought that the plan was through them. To my surprise, I can't even reach this company to "file" a claim on my phone even though I have been charged for it for a year. I did not buy it anywhere else.

Be careful..........These people will get access to your bank account number. Will start with a small amount...$38.46 and if you don't catch it they will clean out your account. Check your bank statements.....

This is a company that used to sell cell phones for whatever cell provider you have. I found out about them through my timeshare as a promotion so I trusted them (I have been an owner with my timeshare for almost 20 years and happy). They were very reasonably priced phones (I bought 3 of them) and we are still using them almost 2 years later. The problem is that they talked me into a protection plan and they were charging me monthly $4.99 each for the 2 basic phones and $9.99 for my smart phone. I wouldn't have minded paying this, but I got notification from some other company that that company was no longer in business. So after paying out all that money every month and then continuing to be charged from my bank account even after they went out of business, now I don't have any insurance protection on my phones and I am out quite a bit of money. I had to close my bank account and have them send me a different number otherwise they would have been able to continue to charge my account. I filed a complaint and dispute with my bank and they refused to do anything about it because the company was out of business.

SO HOW IS YOUR "PROTECTION PLAN" WORKING OUT FOR YOU? This is a company (known by many different names including simplexity...)that used to sell cell phones for whatever cell provider you have.
