This phone number is for the "law firm" Palmer, Reifler & Associates. They are employed through big business companies for the sole reason of collecting fees. The fees are unnecessary and ridiculous, if you Google their "law firm" you'll find plenty of complaints. They're employed by such companies as WalMart, Kmart, Publix, Kohl's, Lowes, Home Depot, etc. They will call you continuously (with an automated machine message) with no regard to time of day or business days. If they're calling your cell phone, put them in your contacts as "Ignore", because that's what you might as well be doing to their calls. If you ever pay them, they just turn around and ask for more. They are the scum sucking leeches that pose as a law firm. They have some sort of law degree, but nothing that could allow them to prosecute you in court. They just use the title to scare you into paying them.

And for you parents out there, they're not out to get you. It's just that your number is the one that was written down on the police report because (I'm guessing) your child was a minor when they were caught. Try to play nice people, some kids have problems. This forum is for helping, not hurting.

But all in all, they might as well be standing on the median at intersections with a tin can saying, "Give me your money or I MIGHT have the POSSIBILITY of a CHANCE of actually doing something about it." I was caught stealing just before I turned 19 back in May, and they have no concern of your financial constraints or age, they will call until they get what they want. The calls have slowed down considerably though, it went from 1-2 calls a day to 1-2 calls every 2 weeks. So just hang in there people, don't give in, it will only hurt you further if you pay them. *Golden Rule*...Never feed an alligator, because then it will only want more and be willing to get it at more drastic measures.

Palmer, Reifler, & all the "Ass.es" are just hungry, starve them to death.

They called my friend's phone and left a message through an automated female recorder leaving my name and a case number saying they needed me to contact them immediately, but there should have no reason for them to be calling either of us and especially not her phone asking for me.

I got an automated call on my home phone voice mail from this number. I think it claimed to be from this Palmer law firm.  I erased the voice mail, my mistake that I won't make again.  This is the first call from them.  Once I gather enough evidence, (if they continue to call), then I'll file with the FCC.gov.   That is what anyone else in this situation should do as well as sending a complaint to the attorney general of the state you live in.  I don't know if they are a legitimate law office or just, as many have said, a collection agency.  If anyone has knowledge of whether they are a law office or not, let us all know here.  Because that would make their claim of being one HIGHLY illegal.  It's also highly illegal for them to threaten you with legal action without taking action.  If, by some chance you do talk to a live person, tell them they are not to contact you by telephone, only via regular mail.  They MUST cease and desist telephone contact with you at that point.

It was an automated voice claiming to be from a law firm representing a client and gave a name I did not make note of. The named person is not known by nor connected to me in any way. I hung up -  I expect it is a scam.

These people call my 16 years cell everyday for someone we don't even know.

I picked up to talk to someone once. I told them that if they didn't stop harassing my minor child then the law will be called.

They said "We will get that changed, Sorry for the misunderstanding"

They still call daily. Can I get the law involved in this?

They are a legitmate law firm. They are entiltled under state statutes to collect a civil penalty for shoplifting and restitution. Shoplifting is a crime, if not for this firm, retailers would have to raise price to everyone to pay for your stupidy and lack of morals. Stop complaining about a sitution you brought on yourself.

Recording claiming to represent law offices of Palmer & ?.  Press 3 for English, which is the official language in the USA. Then press a number to make a payment on an account that has someone Else's name and account #. I returned the call, was on hold for several min. After explaining I was a severely disabled Korean War Vet and am incensed at having to get to the phone for a recorded call and that I am on the "do not call" list, and that I was going to pursue for legal advise as what I can do, to collect damages in small claims court. I was told that My number had been removed from the list and it might take up to 48 hours to become final.(Palmer, Reifler and Associates, P.A.) (P.O. Box 607774 Orlando, FL 32860))  www.palmerpay.com  I'm not the person they are collecting from.

I am a victum of them i did the crime or whatever and paid them, what reason do they have to keep calling me and demanding more money than what i was ordered to pay by the court. What reason do  you have for them not sending me receipts of my payments once they recieve them its just a letter sating that they recieved my payment. What's your answer for that? What is the reason that every time i call them to get a balance that i owe because they wont send me reciepts that i get a different person each time and a different balance. What answer you have for that. crystal.blackwell59@yahoo.com.

This is an attorneys office called Palmer Rifler and Associates. My son was accused of shoplifting at a Macy's. Macy's dropped the charges, but in my state could demand restitution for the item (even though it was a cologne tester of Drakkar Noir and never left the store) and demanded that I pay 400.00 or so. I didn't. Now I am harassed by the attorney's who rep Macy's.

Several calls in one week asking to call this number immediately.  Gave name and case number to reference.  I have had this number for 30 years and no one by referenced name has ever resided here.  Called this law firm and told them I wanted calls stopped immediately.  This is phone harassment.
