- fallmareFile a complaint with the government at: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm. I want as many people to as possible. These people are harrassing me and threating to sue me. They do not have reason to sue me, and I cannot get it to stop. I am hoping if several people file a complaint, someone will investigate their practices.

- Cin replies to fallmareWill it stop after I send a complaint to this site?? How to make them stop calling??
- AmariThese people keep calling me. I'm only fifteen and their always looking for my parents. Plus they're now sending letters, I've only gotten two calls and a letter but from what I've read on this site, there are many more of both in store for me. I walked out of Claires wearing a pair of glasses and I went right back to give them to the cashier but she just accused me of shoplifting and 'wrote me up'. I didn't sign anything and the police weren't called but nearly a month after it happened I got a letter from Palmer, Reifler and Associates saying I had to pay $200.00 within thirty days as a settlement or they'd take me to court. I've been so scared that police were going to come knocking down my door if I don't pay. I have the 200 but after googling this law firm most people are advising others not to pay them and it seems as if they have quite a few complaints against them and they're constantly being sued. I'm thinking I'll wait it out and see if they sue me. Thank you.

I was about to pay them 550 right now until i saw all these websites n now idk wat to do....
- Frustrated replies to big daveI agree with you about shoplifters, but that has nothing to do their persistent calling - at all hours - even after you have told them they have the wrong number and you don't know any person by that name!!!
- AustinA.A couple of months ago my friend was caught steeling at Walmart. I didn't steal anything, but I was with her from time to time in the store... however we were given the choice, if my friend took all the blame (which she deserved) she would go to jail, but if we split it (which I should have not done) we would get a "small fine." I decided to take some of the blame so she wouldn't go to jail.
I was told I might get a letter in the mail from a law group representing W. however I never got one. I even called W. and they told me they would "look my case over" and that they would "call me back." But they never did. Then 2 weeks later I received a letter in the mail saying that I never responded to the letters they sent (which I never got) and they wanted about 700$ from me in 10 days. This is ridiculous, how the hell am I suppose to get 700$ in ten days?? I ignored it, knowing I would be harassed in the future. Sure enough the day is here and I am getting pone calls from this number (P,R&A)"888-572-5637." I assume when I left my number to W. that they instead gave it to those [***] lawyers. I ignore them, however I've heard stories of them calling neighbors asking about a certain person. I sure hope it doesn't come to that.
My question is... do I have a legal right here in Texas to keep these shyster lawyers from calling me again? Basically my deal is "sue me, or don't ever call me or message me again."
Thanks! -Austin.- Caller: Palmer, Reifler and Associates

- Palmer=RICOCall from Palmer, Reifler & Associates (www.palmerpay.com), an extremely disruptable lawfirm that was prosecuted by the Florida State Attorney General under RICO statues (normally used against organized crime entities). They attempt to skirt the law by claiming they are not a debt collection agency, but are pursuing a 'tort matter'.
In my case, they clearly have the wrong number, and so far have been calling about once a week. Other posts suggest it requires very strong "persuasion" to get them to stop calling a wrong number. One poster says they have been repeatedly, repeatedly, repeatedly calling the same number for years. I believe they called me at a different number (and different address) some years back with the same (wrong) name on the voicemail. I have no idea who this person is. Apparently they some spurious, mechanized process for gather phone numbers with minimal oversight that borders on the criminally negligent.
There appear to be a huge number of complaints against this firm, including other law firms advertising their services against Palmer, Reilfer & Associates on Google. It is unfortunate that this kind of parasitical entity has been allowed to remain in business despite a clear and lengthy history of molesting innocent citizenry.- Caller: Palmer, Reifler & Associates
