- 8667--750-9107This is a fraud. The caller tried to pull the line that he was with the fraud detection center and that some questionable charges had appeared on my card. I told him which card, and he could not give me the name. I asked which bank, and he could not tell me that either. I then told him that the number he was using was a private line that is NEVER given to anyone, and that none of my banks know anything about it.
- JoshI just got a call from this number, and it was legit. They had my last five debit transactions, including a fraudulent one. As a result we've stopped my card and I'm having it reissued. I'm sure that there are also fraudulent calls using this caller ID, but mine was on the level.

- LegitI got a call from this number and was a little concerned but all they asked me for was my zip code; they didn't ask for any account information. They asked me to verify recent transactions. What triggered the call was that I tried to purchase an item on EBay from the UK and my card was denied because it was deemed " unusual activity." Also, advice: if you are going to be away from home due to vacation or business, notify your bank or credit union BEFORE leave and let them know there will be "unusual activity" on your card; one time I didn't do that and I kept getting phone calls from the fraud center AND if you don't respond, they may FREEZE your card for your protection!

- WhiteCollarCrimeDetectiveThis is a phishiing scam.
Please do not give your information to these people. This is a phishing scam. I'm a police white collar crimes detective and I work financial crimes. They made the mistake of leaving a message on my work phone. Out of curiosity, I called the number. After entering the "code" they give you (in my case I entered it incorrectly three times) I was transferred to a person. They asked for the last four digits of my credit card which I obviously didn't give them. The way phishing scams work is that they get little bits of information and ultimately get enough information to steal your information.
The person who I spoke with could not tell me specifically what banks they represent, nor did they have any information that would lead me to believe they are legitimate. My experience has been that banks do not "outsource" their fraud detection. Those posting above that say that this is legit are either in on the scam or they have had their information phished and will soon learn that they shouldn't have divulged information to a third party.- Caller: "Fraud Detection"
- call alert replies to ShillBusterI received a call from this 8667509107, asking for me, and verifying my bank, but I didn't proceed. I hung up in case of a scam....
Two hours later, I get a call again from this number. I decided to call my bank directly rather than deal with this unknown caller. They told me I have no suspicious activity on my account(s).
I believe this is a SCAM! Please do not return their call but rather call YOUR bank directly. - No nameThis is definitely a SCAM. Just because someone says they are a company working for your bank, etc., doesn't mean they are. And remember----no one legitimate will EVER ask you for the last 4 numbers of your CARD! Or your name as it appears on your card. They ask for your zip code because that helps them determine part of the other numbers that make up your card number. Always hang up and call your bank to verify before giving out ANY information.
This particular company tried to scam me this morning. Said they were "Fiserv", a fraud protection company associated with my bank. I got suspicious when they started asking for info they shouldn't be asking for. Called my bank and there was no hold on my account and they knew nothing about this.
Also remember....you are getting these calls right after you really DO use your card for something you think the bank might question. That gives them a better chance at being believable when they call you. Don't forget you gave the phone number they are calling out during that transaction!!- Caller: Fraud Protection, Fiserv
- DebbieThis is definitely a SCAM!! Call your bank directly using the number on your card and ask them if your account is on hold due to uncharacteristic charges and then tell them you are getting calls from this number. NEVER give out the last 4 numbers of your card to ANYONE!!! A legitimate bank will NEVER ask you for this.
Hope this helps someone else. I was able to nip it in the bud before they got anything, but had to hot card my card and now am worried about my identity being stolen due to the info I did give out.
Btw- I am a computer programmer who has been in the business industry all my life and I still fell for this call this morning. Be aware that even if certain there are signs (they leave a voice mail, you DID use your card in an uncharacteristic way recently, etc.)..they still may not be legit.
Bottom line - DON'T GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION and CALL A TRUSTED BANK NUMBER YOURSELF.- Caller: Fraud protection
- Deb replies to NOitallConsidering no one but the phone service I use has my home phone number, I do not see how my bank could contract with anyone to call me to alert me to fraud charges. I do not give my home number out under any circumstances. I have it only to decrease my bill, I do not make outgoing calls and do not give it out.
So, how would my bank have my home number to call me to alert me of fraud charges if they do not have my home phone number? This is the phone I got the call (And didn't answer) on. A number no one has but the phone provider. - TIThis is legitimate call from automated fraud prevention system - Garden Savings federal credit union.

- tailsoluvThis is a legitimate Fraud Protection Center. I received a call from this number this morning about 5 minutes after purchasing a few items from Hong Kong through eBay. Being the highly-suspicious person I am, I immediately looked the number up on Google. Before the site even came up, I had a voice mail. I listened and the voice mail gave me a confirmation number to use when I returned the call AFTER identifying itself as a fraud detection center working for the small local bank with which I do business. After continuing on and putting in the confirmation number, it asked for my zip code, which I provided. Thereafter, it named three transactions, stopping after each so that one could provided a yes or no answer, which I had just completed and asking if they were valid. This company did NOT ask for my account number (in fact, it mentioned that these charges had been placed on my account ending in ....). As these were valid charges, I answered yes to each. The site thanked me for taking the time to comply and gave me another number to contact if I had any further queries. For those of you out there who think this is a scam, I hope that whatever charges are on your cards are legit when you go ahead and ignore the call from this number.

- JeanI got one of these calls today also. Being me, I immediately Googled the number and found all three posts. I then called my bank told them about it and was told it IS a company my bank world with for fraud investigations. I suggested they troll the company to identify themselves at start of phone call, lol.
- Pauli got a call from this number and they insisted that my card was fraudly used in other countries. they asked my zip code number. will it hurt me?
- myrab51This was legit from my debit card center. They were verifying an international charge that I made.
- Caller: Credit Union
- JJIt's legit, but to be safe I called my bank instead of answering their questions. It only took a few more minutes, and it gave me peace of mind.
If you're getting these on a frequent basis your bank is probably flagging transactions as suspicious. You can call them ahead of time stop this from happening. - AlanMThis caller is legit. They know waaaay too much detailed information about past purchases done in person that nobody other than the bank and I could know.
In my case, a transaction was mysteriously rejected by my bank one evening when dealing with a legit company. The next morning I received calls from this number. Checked out who they were, called "with caution", and they were indeed calling about the transaction that did not go through. They confirmed previous transactions that I made in person (only myself and the bank would know these transactions as they were with various businesses and in person).
I think these type of calls should make people hesitant to call, but I've had them through the years from different card services.
Those who think this is a scam have good reason to, and it's good to be cautious, but this is a legit exception.- Caller: Fraud Detection Center
- TCSept 25, 2013 -- Fraud Protect entity and your bank
This is a legit number from eNFACT, who is a fraud protect enity...
Yes eNTACT (866-750-9107)is a fraud protect entity normally on contract with your bank to protect your credit cards.
Yes there could be a scam or something abnoral with the use of your card, this is why they call
Problems are:
1. The don't properly identify themselves... and the robot machine process sucks. Not user frendly
2. My bank didn't know who they were and that they hard time until after a half day of research on their part..
If you want to speak to them eNTACT directly just call the 866-750-9107 and don't say and don't dial any numbers, they will answer after the stupid robot gives up.. Then you can challenge them as to who they really are.. You will probably have to provide your Hame,Zip,and last four of CC number at a minimum. Any more than that they can provide more information... WHO WHAT WHERE WHEN and How Much. They even knew about transactions that weren't on my bank's transaction record until a day later...
I my case all were legit transactions and nothing was wrong..
Call your bank and put them to task if you think you have issues...just keep in mind some banks a clueless about there card fraud protection until you challange them...
CHALLANGE AND QUESTION THIS FOLKS.. MAKE THEM EARN THERE MONEY...- Caller: eNFACT is Legit
- JennaOk guys. I got four calls in two day from this company. Wouldn't answer because I swore it was spam. Today I called my bank and asked. They checked it out and verified it was legit. When I called they asked for the message code that was left in the voicemail on my phone. After entering it, the voice asked me to verify my identity by entering my zip code. It said it was in regards to my ATM/Bank card ending in **** and read off a recent magazine subscription purchase I made, asking to press 1 if I actually made it and not someone else. It was my own charge and I hit 1. It then said no further action will be taken and thank you for your time. So stop yelling at people who say its legit because they're right. I don't work for these people. I'm a teacher. I was suspicious about the calls and actually read this forum before calling my bank to check it out. So yes, this phone number is real, and it's makin sure your information hasn't been stolen. Not once did I have to enter any personal information. No PIN numbers, account numbers, SSN, nothing. Totally fine
- JDI, too got this alert from the same number. They asked for my zip code which I was reluctant to give out. However, after giving them this info...they asked for the last four digits of my debit card. I said no way and hung up. I'll call my bank tomorrow.

- LunaIt's for real. I googled the number after getting four calls today (never answer toll free number calls), and was initially suspicious of the conflicting info on this site, so I checked my credit union account; four unauthorized charges. Still, forget this toll free number thing- I'm calling my credit union directly as soon as they open.
- Saucie100% a fraud. They have called me several times today, on my work number, my cell number and at my parents number. They have used several different company names with each phone call. They have threatened me with court papers...which should never be done on the phone. They say it is for a pay day loan from 2010...which was not done through them. When I asked them for a debt validation letter showing that they now owned the debt and that I needed to pay it them, they got very mean and yelled very rudely at me. I have connected my state attorney general, my local county attorney general, and my local police. I have also submit a complaint with the FTC.
