Calls our home at least 1 x a day w/o leaving a message.
I have called several times and left a messgae on the general voice mail to STOP calling us.

Remember folks two can play this game.  Call and flood their 1-866-754-5368 number.  Toll free isn't free to them....they pay 7 cents a minute. Call them get an extention....asl lots of lame questions....waste time......and most importantly....don't buy a thing!

These guys are calling my personal cell phone every day,  they are vulgar, they yell, they are abusive.  They keep asking for Roger, when I tell them this is not his phone, they challenge my integrity and call me an [***].  They hang up, call right back and again ask for Roger. When I tried calling them back they won't answer their own phone and it goes right to their voice mail.  The service provider for this company needs to terminate their phone call.

Have been getting calls all hours of day and night.  I finally got to talk to someone named "Marshall" who said he was with Abstar Financial and insisted I tell him if my number was a business or residential.  He said if we were a business he would remove us from his list.  

I told him that I am on Indiana's no call list for telemarketing and I am reporting him.  He just laughed and kept being a smart alek.  He said I gave you my name and company and you haven't given me information you promise.  I said I didn't promise him anything and would not give information to anyone who couldn't tell me what his call pertained to.  He just laughed.  He kept trying to end the call by saying "have a nice day".  I just kept talking over him telling him very specifically to remove my number from his list and that I am reporting him to the Indiana Attorney General Office.

Seems like somebody somewhere should be able to stop this harrasing by this company!

I received a call this morning from Abstar.  They asked to speak to the owner.  I told him that I was the Office Manager and he would have to speak with me.  When he went into his sales pitch, I told him we would not be interested as the owner's brother-in-law does all our credit card processing through his company and would not change companies.  He then began giving me the 3rd degree on Whether it was his brother or brother-in-law/ why we would make a decision without comparing,etc.  I told him I appreciated his effort on trying to overcome his "no guideline", but that I was not interested and to take me off their calling list.  He than began arguing with me.  I asked to speak to his supervisor and he hung up on me.

Abstar is a scam.

I got a call from "the Chad" from this company and not only was he very rude but when I told him I was going to report them to the do not call registry he called back and told me not to bother that they didn't care.  They suck.  I had this happen before and when they called back I was able to very heatfully tell them I was worried about it.  In the end I ended up with the owner of the companies personal number and after telling him about it the calls stopped.

If everyone took time to fill out a complaint with their state's Attorney General we can get rid of this harrassment. As business owners we dont have time for these scams.

They call our place of business several times a day, said they would take us off the calling list but continue to call daily.

said his name was chris from abstar financial. he asked if i accepted credit cards and i asked him why he was calling me. he hung up.

CONTACT YOUR STATES ATTORNEY GENERAL TO STOP THESE HARASSING PHONE CALLS. A man called from this number asking for Jennifer.  I asked him who he was? He told me John.  He started telling me about a work from home business.  I told him I am on the no call list. I asked him to take me off the list.  He kept on saying wait, mama, you don't want to miss out on this. I hung up.
About five minutes later a girl called from the same phone number.  Her name was Sarah. I asked her who she worked for? She said Abstar. I told her we no longer owned a business and she said ok, thank you.

Thanks everyone for your posts.  They are a big help when dealing with unwanted calls from unknown businesses.  Undoubtedly, Abstar Financial is at it again ... only a new telephone number:  866-395-5829!   :)

They got my answering machine, but did not leave a message.  I guess I can only hope they don't call back.  However, if they do ... they will certainly get an earful!!!  :)
